I just got 3x more likes on Facebook for a post that literally just contained the word “potatoe” in it, in comparison to a hard hitting post that directly addressed the issues of privilege and what needs to be done about it. Seriously, everyone needs to get their priorities strait.

Growing up in country towns is bullshit
You have to do 10x the work for 1/10th of the credit and have heaps of useless opportunities that turn to dust in your mouth. The people are barely educated. Everyone had low standards. The only appeal is to tourists and dumb people who can’t see past the pretty facade. Country towns are ideal places for old people or people who have achieved everything they want in their lives and have given up on ever doing more.
