Fanfiction writers (Scriptor fictus) are intelligent animals who need plenty of enrichment as well as encouragement! If they're stuck in poor conditions (e.g. have studies, work, have to actually write to have something written) then they require the proper enrichment to engage in more healthy behaviours, like writing. Remember, due to poor breeding and socialisation, over half of all fanfic writers suffer from low self confidence and executive dysfunction so take care of them!

Give your fanfic writers proper care. Fanfiction writers are a life long commitment.

It's super funny looking at these names and remembering you talking about them on the server. I'm intrigued by that "instructor veers fantasies" one tho.

I have no organizational skills whatsoever so this is just every document I own in google drive in reverse order of modification (most recent at the top).

"pieder working doc" and "pieder" are the same thing, but docs had some problem where for whatever reason it won't let me edit the original anymore. Hence "working doc," i.e., the one that is working. "AO3 posting script" is of course not mine at all but the way it works makes docs think it is so here we are.

A couple of these aren't even wips anymore. Also I gotta remember to extract all my ad hoc fic from discord. OTL

Thank you @klarionthewizard for tagging me, I love this tag :D I'll send you an ask with a title from yours but I'm having such a hard time picking, they're all intriguing. Hmm.

Soooo I recently adopted a new system for my WIPs and finished writing where I put keywords in the title, inspired by the perfect system the person I'm tagging below had. Here is my WIP folder:

The "point" of having Jango's clones look exactly like him is that the average moviegoer doesn't understand how cloning works and thinks it's some kind of biological photocopier. As you have thoughtfully demonstrated here.

(The other "point" is probably that the writers didn't understand how cloning works, but that's a problem with most of Star Wars.)

(The other other point is that it's simpler and cheaper to digitally copy and paste Temuera Morrison fifty times over than to spend dozens of hours animating tiny differences in facial features that most people won't pick up on anyway because it's a crowd scene or the shot isn't very long or they're just bad at telling faces apart (hi).)

You seem to be under the impression that the Kaminoans would have had to deliberately induce changes to Jango's DNA. In real life the reverse is true--they would have had to monitor each embryo constantly and cull the ones with any sort of mutation at any stage of development, which would be hideously expensive and a waste of resources at the very least. (Granted, some mutations are things like "organs grow on wrong side of chest cavity" or "skull too small for brain." Those are usually incompatible with life regardless. Do not google "parasitic twin" either.) At that point caring about a purely cosmetic mutation is just silly.

What's ironic is I can think of a reason Sidious (who was ultimately the one who ordered the clones, using Dooku as a proxy) would want them to be as identical as possible: to dehumanize them. Or de...sapient...ize... them, I guess. Same reason stormtrooper helmets cover their faces. Sith thrive on misery; making the clones the face of the war connects the two indelibly in the minds of the general public. By promoting uniformity, Sidious all but guarantees that the clones will never be mistaken for anyone, or anything, else, especially once Jango is dead. They have no chance to escape the role they've been forced into because no matter what they wear or do, unless they cover or dramatically alter their faces, everyone will look at them and immediately think, "oh, a clone."

You guys I just found out about this guy who made 3D printable files for adapters for game controllers to allow them to be used one handed!   It’s so clever and easy and accessible, unlike other adaptive controllers.  It just snaps onto a regular controller.  The way the stick is controlled is damn genius.  So much easier than trying to use your feet like other systems. 

A friend is using one due to a stroke and as someone with problems from arthritis, this is so great to see, in case I get to the point I really can’t use my right hand.

Please share and give this guy some love, cause this is awesome.
