project type: merch / product design
project duration: -

deadline: may 27, 2023, at 11:59pm edt / may 28, 2023, at 12:59pm kst
following the success of the inaugural launch of base’s designed by merch line for the opening of the base culture complex, the second launch of the merch line is being prepared. this line will be released exclusively as tour merch during the upcoming crowned world tour. base is once again seeking product pitches from the idols under their related companies.
all merch approved for this collection of the designed by line will be sold at merch stands during the duration of the crowned world tour. as the line is tour merch this time around, the aim of the designs and the type of products expected are slightly different.
products for this collection should directly identify or link to the idol or their group in some way. this may include their or their group’s name on the product, symbols/themes/words from a group or personal project, a likeness or symbol of the idol, etc.
examples of tour merch can be found here, here, here, and here. clothes, stickers, mugs, necklaces, pins, etc. are all fair game, but products should be reasonably able to be carried and kept in a merch bag for the duration of the concert and easily brought home. products should be able to be shipped overseas and sold in person and must be reasonably idol-appropriate and perishable products (i.e. food and beverage) should be avoided.
all idols whose products are used will receive a cut of the merch profits (though base will own the intellectual property rights) and will gain additional publicity by way of the merch release.
for this collection, up to two products per idol will be produced. for idols with two products produced, products will be cycled so that only one product per idol is available at each show.
the price range for products will be up to ₩135,000 (approximately $100 USD), so product pitches should stay within that sellable range. idols themselves will not set the final price.
idols will not be expected to present an actual prototype of the product unless they have the capabilities of creating one on their own. base will have hired teams in charge of actually creating the product and bringing it to life.
points roundup
total available points for muses involved in this project: 13 points (none of the prompts count toward monthly limits.)
each of these may be completed twice: once each for two different product pitches per muse.
+2 points: an visual aesthetic photo set or a graphic edit representing the product being pitched by your muse, plus a description of at least three sentences briefly explaining what the product is and how the photo set / edit represents the product.
+3 points: either a headcanon of at least 400 words detailing the product and its pitch or a self-para of at least 400 words detailing the narrative of your muse giving their pitch to a small conference room of base designs project managers.
+3 points: free choice. you have free choice for this as long as the effort put into it is approximately equal to the normal amount required to earn three points and the content created is original (e.g. you can’t find a single picture on google that looks like what you’re going for and post that and call it a day). ideas for this could be a powerpoint “made” by your muse about the product they designed, a mock-up of the product, or a fake print or video advertisement for the product if you have skills in those areas. you may also go simple with this and do a 400+ word self-para or a six-post thread with another muse that relates to the product creation process.
please remember to tag with #famedbasedesignedby (this is the same tag used for the inaugural line).

base academy is a component of the base culture complex in its early stages. though the plan is to turn it into a full-fledged performance academy with several classes per day and a direct system for trainee scouting for the companies, for its early months, it will serve to host special workshops and events. the academy hopes to make workshops with celebrities, renowned professionals, and established creative employees of bc entertainment, dimensions entertainment, and gold star media a key part of its marketing strategy.
for the base culture complex’s grand opening, the base academy will feature several special multi-week workshops hosted by idols under bc, dimensions, and gold star. these workshops will vary in duration and content, but will all be hosted in studios at the base academy over an eight week span from october 30 to november 24.
the base academy takes up the entire the sixth floor of the culture complex and can be accessed by having a special student (or teacher) id only. the academy houses dance studios, vocal studios, video production studios, one recording studio, and a few empty rooms that can be repurposed as needed.
workshops may be hosted solo or in pairs. for the grand opening workshops, each idol may participate in hosting a maximum of two workshops — one solo and one pair.
the topic of each workshop should be specific, not general. ex. not ‘singing’, but ‘singing r&b’, ‘acting through song’, or ‘finding your unique voice’. they should also reflect what the muse has experience in. a specialty claim in the area the workshop covers is not required, but a muse who has never had an official choreography credit cannot host a workshop on choreographing.
class length should be between 45 and 90 minutes. workshops should be hosted weekly (for eight total classes), once every two weeks (for four total classes), or once a month (for two total classes) in the span from october 30 to december 24. a workshop must consist of at least two classes by the end of its run.
workshops can be submitted here for review & confirmation. if your muse is doing both a solo workshop & a pair-hosted workshop, please submit a separate form for both.

total available points for muses involved: 15 points (none of the prompts count toward monthly limits.)
+3 points: a thread of at least eight posts (four for each muse) by the deadline between two muses co-hosting a workshop.
+3 points (each): a headcanon detailing the muse’s workshop (can be completed once each if a muse is hosting both a solo and pair workshop).
+3 points each: up to two self-paras of at least 400 words regarding the muse’s workshop (up to six points total).

spanning october to november, the base culture complex will host a series of mini-concerts in a series called the opening. each group under all three companies will perform during this concert series.
additional solo performances by some individual members of these groups will be held.
any muse may perform a mini-concert, whether they have debuted solo or not. a solo mini-concert may consist entirely of covers and singing/rapping is not necessary — a muse may do a solo mini-concert consisting entirely of dancing if they wish. claims for solo mini-concerts can be submitted here. if idols are not confident holding a mini-concert on their own, two muses may also team up to do a duo mini-concert.
each concert will feature the name of the artist followed by the overall title of the the opening series, ex. titan: the opening or ultraviolet: the opening. for solo concerts, original mini-concert titles cannot be created since they will just be the muse’s name + the opening.
mini-concerts will be between fifteen and thirty-five minutes.
schedule:
october 26, evening: titan
october 29, morning: cloud
october 29, afternoon: calypso
october 29, evening: polaris

ahead of the base culture complex’s grand opening on october 25, a pre-opening ‘ceremony’ is being held at the complex. this event will be attended by talent under all three labels, high-ranking employees of the companies, and various industry connections. as an invitation has been extended to all idols under bc, dimensions, and gold star, it’s understood that it is expected they will attend, though attendance is optional with an rsvp required.
at the party, idols will be able to experience the base culture complex for the first time. they will be able to:
visit the museum and its current exhibitions on the history of the hallyu wave and the special exhibition on equinox
visit the cafe and try out the artist-themed offerings of pastries, snacks, and drinks for free
visit the gift shop and receive their free gift bag, including sponsored skincare items and vouchers to spas and salons, and merchandise from the artist-designed collection
privately listen to vinyl records of bc, dimensions, and gold star artists’ albums or request artists’ song on the jukebox in the lounge
tour the performance academy and performance venues rooms for the first time (recommended for those in the concert or workshop lineup)
drop by the movie theater for a special viewing of a documentary charting the history of bc, dimensions, and gold star
leave their autograph somewhere on several designated pieces of furniture and walls throughout the complex
enter the basement level, where a dimensions entertainment in-house producer and dj will be djing music, including remixed versions of the biggest hits from bc, dimensions, and gold star artists
network and mingle with other celebrities and industry connections
attendance is highly encouraged by management, as the pre-opening party will be a major point of publicity. press will be present outside of the culture complex to take photos and video of arrivals and vetted press photos and video of attendees exploring inside the complex will be released in the days following the event.
note this is a mini-event, not a full event, so muse participation and attendance is optional. muns are encouraged to continue to write normal, current threads instead of focusing all of their writing on the pre-opening party, even if their muse attends.

base tv: crowned, round 3
project type: competition show
project duration: june to august (airing july to august)
limitations: none
participation: all muses in the roleplay
deadline: august 27, 2022, at 11:59pm edt / august 28, 2022, at 12:59pm kst *
for the final round of the show, all of the groups will have one final chance to show why they deserve to leave the show crowned winner above the others.
in-’verse info
filming for the second round will take place from august 8 to august 28.
the mission for the final episode is “original song". each group will have to rehearse and perform an entirely original release for this round.
the groups will have from august 8 to prepare their stage for filming of the final stages, which will be broadcast live on august 28.
groups choose and prepare all elements of their song by the time of their final performance. this is likely to be the most intense rounds for the groups, as they have to learn a new song, record it in the studio, learn the choreography, attend fittings and conceptual meetings, rehearse their stage, and more, in the span of three weeks.
on august 11, a few days into rehearsals for the final round and after voting for the second round closes, groups are informed of the final ranking for round two as follows:
1. polaris 2. calypso 3. catalyst 4. selene 5. candy 6. arcadia 7. equinox 8. cloud 9. lily 10. platinum 11. ultraviolet 12. titan 13. quantum/phase
the unit ranking results were as follows:
vocal units:
1. equinox’s suji & candy’s yerin 2. titan’s duri & lily’s yuri 3. equinox’s minjung & selene’s hyojung 4. titan’s haru, polaris’s min, & catalyst’s rioh
dance unit:
1. equinox’s kiana 2. platinum’s haon
rap unit:
1. calypso’s lux 2. selene’s kami
in addition to the rankings, everyone is informed that calypso won the most votes from other groups as the strongest performance while titan earned the most votes from other groups as the weakest performance.
no benefits or penalties are doled out at this time, but everyone is told that all thirteen groups will be going on a two-night, one-day trip from august 26 to august 28, to have “a vacation to reflect on the memories made during crowned”. off-camera, information is given to managers to pass onto the idols about exact times of the trip and what they should pack, but idols are kept mostly in the dark about whether anything will happen on the trip other than a filmed vacation.
the original songs each group will end up performing are as follows:
titan: "checkmate” lily: “you think” cloud: “hit” candy: “so bad” calypso: “whistle” polaris: “basquiat” [line distribution here] quantum/phase: “the real” (including mingi’s verses) arcadia: "pose” selene: “destiny” platinum: “finale (show and prove)” equinox: “dazzle dazzle” catalyst: “wolfgang” ultraviolet: “me”
** several of the management teams have decided to release music videos this round, in hopes of improving their chances. lily, cloud, candy, equinox, and ultraviolet will film music videos for their songs in addition to the rest of preparations. polaris will film and release a performance video.
each group’s song will be digitally released onto streaming platforms on august 22.
on august 26, the groups will travel (by separate van) to a small lakefront community of four vacation houses that have been rented out for the filming. the groups will arrive that evening in the order of their ranking from last round and when they arrive, they’ll be told which house they’re staying in, based on ranking.
note: the general vibe of the area would be something like this, with all of the houses lined up around a central yard. houses vary in size based on ranking, but all are considered luxury vacation homes. examples of what they might look like are this, this, this, and the houseboats being something like this.
each house is given a status-signifying ‘name’ they are referred to as to the idols.
polaris and calypso will be staying in the ‘house of diamonds’. this house is the largest one, housing five total bedrooms. they will stay two to a room (with each room having two beds) and only members of the same group can room together. they will have meals prepared for them by a private chef during the whole trip and will have a cleaning service come in every morning to clean the house. they’ll be able to practice at any time of day they wish and may kick another group out of a practice room if they’re all full.
catalyst, selene, and candy will stay in the ‘house of gold’. this house also has five rooms. they will stay three to a room except for the master bedroom, where four members of either candy or selene will stay. each room will have two bunk beds. selene and candy members may stay with their own group members or members of the other group, but catalyst members must share rooms within their group. they will have a cleaning service come in every morning, but will have to cook their own meals. they’ll be able to practice any time from 9am-3pm.
equinox, arcadia, and cloud will stay in the ‘house of silver’. this house also has five rooms. cloud members will stay in two rooms of three members and must stay with their own group members. equinox and arcadia members will stay in either one room of three roommates or one of two other rooms of four members. they may stay with their own members or members of the other group. they’ll only be able to practice at any time from 3pm-9pm.
lily, platinum, and ultraviolet will stay in the ‘house of bronze’. this house has three rooms and each group will stay in one room together with four sleeping bags. they will be expected to keep their house clean as well as prepare their own meals. they’ll only be able to practice at any time from 9pm-3am.
quantum/phase and titan will each be ‘exiled’, which means they each stay in one of two much smaller two-room houseboats on the lake during their stay. all members of each group will share the two rooms of their respective houseboat (one intended to be a bedroom and one intended to be a social area) sleeping in sleeping bags. they will be expected to keep their houseboat clean as well as prepare their own meals. each houseboat has only a microwave, no stove or oven. they’ll only be able to practice at any time from 3am-9am.
as the mvp winner of the first round, @fmdduri is informed that he will trading in his oversized prop key for a key to a house he will stay in dubbed the ‘house of rubies’: a one-bedroom cottage complete with all the amenities he could need, including a fully-stocked kitchen, a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, and a private garden area. like the ‘house of diamonds’, he will have access to a private chef and personal cleaning services during his stay. he also gets a ‘pass’ allowing his group one time to practice outside of their designated practice hours. they may kick out any currently practicing group to use this if they have to.
cameras will be set up in each room inside of each house except for the bathrooms. cameras will also be affixed outside of the houses. additionally, camera operators will be present to film anything of particular note. there is a warehouse nearby set up for groups to practice their performance, which the groups can be driven to by their managers (with times decided by house / previous round’s ranking). idols may visit houses they are not staying in, but they may not spend the night there or use their benefits (ex. the private chef). if they don’t have it at their own residence.
on the night of august 26, there will be filming of a bbq party where each house (diamond, gold, silver, bronze, quantum/phase’s houseboat, and titan’s houseboat) will be expected to bring a dish (or multiple). the ‘house of diamonds’ may choose to have their private chef cook the dish they bring, but the rest will have to cook the dish themselves from what is in their kitchen. duri may not use his personal private chef to cook to represent titan.
on the afternoon of august 27, the groups will compete in a competition on the lawn connecting the houses. they’ll compete in their groups to guess songs by the other competing groups based on song lyrics. (groups cannot try to guess their own songs or they’ll be penalized.) the winning group will switch places with the losing group for the final day. (note: this means the losing group could move into a better house while the winning group moves into a worse one, not just the other way around, so trying to lose could be as much a strategy as trying to win.) in the end, ultraviolet wins and polaris loses. for that night, polaris will move into the ‘house of bronze’ and ultraviolet will move into the ‘house of diamonds’.
the live broadcast of the finale will be held on august 28. the groups will leave around 10am that day (after all houses without a personal cleaning team clean up to leave their houses in top shape). they will drive back to the broadcast station. this performance will be live on a slight delay (~5 minutes). the groups will perform in order from last place last round to first place last round. they will perform in front of a live audience of fans of all groups and a group of ‘special judges’’. the ‘special judges’ for round three will be a group of production crew who have worked on various mnet idol productions, such as mcountdown, the mnet asian music awards, and crowned itself. they’ll evaluate the performances as well as their personal experiences with the idols.
performances will be scored for this round through a combination of live votes from the audience and viewers at home, performance on digital charts, and the special judges’ votes.
mun info
participation in final song
muses may be involved in the production, choreography, and styling for their original song. starting at midnight edt on tuesday, august 9, (24 hours after this post goes up) muses with specialties in music production, dance & choreography, or fashion & modeling may make claims in these areas respectively. beginning at midnight edt on thursday, august 11, any muses, regardless of specialty may make claims in these areas.
muses may only work on the production, choreography, or styling for their own group’s song, since this is a competition.
note that due to the timeframe, production and choreography would have needed to have been completed before the round began and styling would have to be completed early in the round.
8/9 update: final song participation claims can be submitted here.
claims made:
titan’s checkmate: lyrics & melody by duri (closed) candy’s so bad: partial choreography by sun (closed) calypso’s whistle: partial styling by yenny (closed) polaris’s basquiat: partial lyrics, partial melody, & partial arrangement by taeyong (closed) selene’s destiny: lyrics, partial melody, and arrangement by kami (closed)
pre-made plot points
muns may reserve pre-made plot points for crowned round 3. these plot points can be found here. a muse can only have one claimable plot point for the duration of the show, but no muse is required to claim any. there will be claimable plot points for each round of the show. if pre-made plot points went unclaimed, they may have been carried over to the this round or removed.
claimable plots can be applied for here on a first-come, first-served basis and are entirely optional. if someone gets to your muse’s desired plot before you, you may resubmit for a different plot.
rankings
please note that rankings and special awards that will take place during crowned will be decided through a mix of randomization, influence through muses’ own development, and pre-planned plot points/moments. there are no pre-determined final rankings for any round or for the winner of the show, but randomization will play the biggest role in them. muns should not be focusing on trying to make their muses’ group win, as this is not something that is entirely within any muns’ control and is not the focus of this event. muses may be driven by the desire to win, of course, but that isn’t what should be important out-of-character! please turn your focus to development of your muse through this instead.
initial rankings for the second round was randomly generated and then a rank rise up or down was randomly generated for each taken pre-made plot. additionally, one one spot rise bonus was randomly generated from all groups that had at least one member compete in a unit stage to reflect extra earned fan votes. all groups who had a member or members participate in the unit stage got only a spot rise, regardless of how many members participated. the group named the most as the strongest performance in interviews (calypso) earned a one spot rise to reflect the portion of voting that is allotted to ‘other groups’. due to the set plot point from the last round, arcadia was also brought up one spot to place within the top half of groups. for units, results were entirely randomly generated with no outside effects.
for the song-guessing competition, both the winner and the loser were randomly generated.
screenshots of this random generation and data can be provided if requested, but as it would be quite complicated/long and image-heavy and ranking is not supposed to be the OOC-focus, it won’t be linked unless requested for transparency!
airing schedule
the airing schedule of episodes using footage from first round filming will be as follows:
episode 7: august 14 (round two rankings, rehearsals) episode 8: august 21 (special episode recapping the season) episode 9 & episode 10: august 28 (’bonding’ trip, live final performances, final ranking reveal and announcement of season winner)
any further questions should be directed to the main’s ask box!
points roundup
total available points for muses involved: 34 points (none of the prompts count toward monthly limits.)
+3 points each: a thread revolving around filming for this filming block of at least eight posts (four for each muse) by the deadline (up to twenty-four points / eight threads maximum).
+2 points: completion of in-character interview #1
+2 point: completion of in-character interview #2
+3 points: up to two self-paras of at least 400 words revolving around filming for this filming block (up to six points total)
please specify whether an interaction or solo is on or off camera and an exact date (or as exact as possible, ex. ‘first week of rehearsals’) at the top of the first post in the thread / the post of the solo. content that does not explicitly state it is on-camera will not be used for episodes to avoid unintentionally overstepping mun intentions.

base tv: crowned, round 2
project type: competition show
project duration: june to august (airing july to august)
limitations: none
participation: all muses in the roleplay
deadline: august 6, 2022, at 11:59pm edt / august 7, 2022, at 12:59pm kst *
after an introductory first round where groups showed their strengths and weaknesses via proclaiming their identities as a group, round two is focused on testing the groups’ versatility and their members’ ability to step outside of their usual discography and line-up.
* due to more components to this round, please note that this round has four weeks for writing instead of three.
in-’verse info
filming for the second round will take place from july 11 to august 4.
the first mission for the second episode is “cover song”. each group will be tasked with performing a song by another one of the groups competing on the show.
the groups will have from july 11 to prepare their stage for filming of the final round two stage on august 4.
groups will once again pull cards from a bowl. this time, the card will either have the name of another group on it or it will be a twist card. if they draw the name of another group, they must cover a song by that group.
most of the groups pull names of other groups, but lily, quantum/phase, arcadia, and equinox pull twist cards requiring them to perform a song originally released before 2010, meaning they cannot cover any other group competing on the show. calypso pulls a twist card allowing them to choose which group they cover.
groups will get to discuss what their cover song and concept should be on camera, but as with the last round, the final choice will ultimately be made and reported to the production team by their respective management teams.
on july 21, after voting for the first round closes, groups are informed of the final ranking for round one as follows:
1. titan 2. polaris 3. platinum 4. cloud 5. calypso 6. equinox 7. quantum/phase 8. ultraviolet 9. selene 10. arcadia 11. lily 12. candy 13. catalyst
in addition to the rankings, everyone is informed that equinox won the most votes from other groups as the strongest performance while catalyst earned the most votes from other groups as the weakest performance. titan’s duri won the most individual votes from the special judges in round one. for this, duri is handed an oversized key and told to make sure to hang onto it, as it can be used at a later time.
catalyst and candy are informed of the consequence of placing bottom two in the first round on july 21 as well: they are going to have to change songs mid-rehearsal. candy will have to perform a song by the same artist as polaris, the #2 ranking group for round one (ultraviolet), and catalyst will have to perform a song by the same artist as titan, the #1 ranking group for round one (polaris).
* note: before this switch, candy was preparing to perform arcadia’s favorite and catalyst was preparing to perform quantumphase’s drunk-dazed
the songs each group will end up performing are as follows:
titan: polaris - fire (concept) lily: npc- u go girl (concept) cloud: selene - decalcomanie candy: arcadia - favorite ultraviolet - ddu-du ddu-du (concept)* calypso: selene - hush (concept) [they pull a 'twist’ card that allows them to choose any song by any group on the show to cover.] polaris: ultraviolet - kill this love [line distribution here] quantum/phase: npc group - come back home arcadia: polaris - not today selene: cloud - very nice platinum: lily - nobody (concept) equinox: npc group - i’m leaving you (concept) catalyst: quantum - drunk-dazed polaris - dionysus * ultraviolet: catalyst - kick it [natty’s vocal/rap parts go to main rapper/lead vocal and natty’s dance break center goes to maknae/main dancer/lead rapper/vocal]
** after checking that it is not banned in any rules or contract, dimensions entertainment arranges for arcadia to film a music video for their cover. this earns backlash, as fans of other groups find it unfair. however, their cover ends up getting extra attention from this. more details on this will be found in the quarterly schedules.
idols will also have the opportunity to participate in unit stages in this round. these unit stages will air the week before group performances and the winning stage(s) will earn the groups with members involved bonus points.
each unit must designate a leader. members of the unit stages will have more collaborative creative control over their stages with minimal management involvement unless something inappropriate or controversial is chosen or the members of the unit stage are unable to come to an agreement in a timely manner.
groups will be filmed rehearsing their stages leading up to the big day. some groups may be touring during the time they have to rehearse. they will be renting out practice venues as they travel and production will send a small film and production crew to travel with them to film for their content for the round.
muses involved in unit stages will be expected to attend additional practices for the unit stages. management will arrange times that work for everyone, though touring and other overseas schedules may necessitate some meetings over video call, each unit will have at least two in-person rehearsals before their performance.
unit stages will be filmed on july 30. all idols, even those not involved in unit stages, will be expected to be present to film reactions to the unit stages.
unit stages (in performance order):
vocal:
1. equinox’s suji (@fmdxsuji) & candy’s yerin (@fmdyerin) - “flashlight” (orig. jessie j) 2. equinox’s minjung (@minjungfmd) & selene’s hyojung (@fmdhyojung) - “juice” (orig. lizzo) 3. titan’s haru (@fmdhaesol), cloud’s rioh (@fmdrioh), & polaris’s min (@fmdminhee) - “love poem” (orig. suji) 4. titan’s duri (@fmdduri) & lily’s yuri (@yurifmd) - “cater 2 u” (orig. destiny’s child)
dance:
1. platinum’s haon (@gyujeongfmd) & equinox’s kiana (@fmdkiana) - “if the world was ending”
rap:
1. candy’s kami (@fmdkami) & calypso’s lux (@fmdlux) - “kiss me more (clean version)” (orig. doja cat)
as a benefit for placing in the top two last round, titan and polaris will record their group stages on august 3, a day earlier than everyone else, to audiences of only their fans. they will get the chance to film multiple takes of their performances. they will still attend filming the following day to react to stages, but will not have the pressure of the normal filming day or having to get the performance in one take.
on the day of the live recording (august 4), the groups will all arrive at the television studio early in the morning to rehearse and prepare to record. titan and polaris will arrive later than the other groups since they don’t need to rehearse. there will be a live audience, although it will be smaller than the audience for the group performances. at the recording, the groups will perform in order from last place last round to third place last round. they will perform in front of a live audience of fans of all groups and a group of ‘special judges’’. the ‘special judges’ from this round will be members of rookie groups who debuted in 2022.
performances will be scored for this round through a combination of live audience fan votes, votes from the other groups, and special judges’ votes, but will not be able to find out their total score and placement until early during filming for the next round.
mun info
unit stages
regarding the unit stages: muns must plot out unit stages between each other and submit them to this form for approval. i suggest using plot calls for this. involvement in unit stages is entirely optional. once a stage is added to this post, it has been approved.
units cannot involve more than one muse in the same group and must focus on one skill (singing, dancing, or rapping). a unit must involve between two and four muses and muses written by the same mun cannot be in the same unit.
muses with a main and/or lead position must do the unit stage in a skill they have a main or lead position in. muses without any main or lead position must do the unit stage in a position they have. for example, a main dancer/lead vocal/rapper could do a unit stage in singing or dancing, but not rapping. a vocal/rapper could do a unit stage in singing or rapping. a main dancer/vocal could only do a unit stage in dancing.
muses with a dance & choreography specialty may partially contribute to choreographing alongside a professional choreographer if they do a dancing unit stages. muses with a music production specialty may partially contribute to arranging a remix / re-arrangement of a song (only relevant if the arrangement is significantly different from the original) for their unit stage alongside a professional producer. muses with a fashion & modeling specialty may partially contribute to styling for their unit stage alongside a professional stylist. (this does not apply to full group stages).
unit stages do not require a direct reference, but if one is used, you may use any queendom/kingdom unit stages as well as youtube videos that are not from television broadcasts. stages from televisions broadcasts (ex. show me the money, awards shows) or covers officially released on streaming sites that are not from queendom/kingdom may not be used.
note that if there is only one unit stage in a certain skill, ranking will be done between individuals within that unit.
pre-made plot points
muns may reserve pre-made plot points for crowned round 2. these plot points can be found here. a muse can only have one claimable plot point for the duration of the show, but no muse is required to claim any. there will be claimable plot points for each round of the show. if pre-made plot points go unclaimed, they may be carried over to the next round or removed.
claimable plots can be applied for here on a first-come, first-served basis and are entirely optional. if someone gets to your muse’s desired plot before you, you may resubmit for a different plot.
rankings
please note that rankings and special awards that will take place during crowned will be decided through a mix of randomization, influence through muses’ own development, and pre-planned plot points/moments. there are no pre-determined final rankings for any round or for the winner of the show, but randomization will play the biggest role in them. muns should not be focusing on trying to make their muses’ group win, as this is not something that is entirely within any muns’ control and is not the focus of this event. muses may be driven by the desire to win, of course, but that isn’t what should be important out-of-character! please turn your focus to development of your muse through this instead.
initial rankings for the first rounds were randomly generated and then a rank rise up or down was randomly generated for each taken pre-made plot. additionally, one one spot rise bonus was randomly generated from all groups that had a member complete the vlive (this went to equinox) to reflect extra earned fan votes. the group named the most as the strongest performance in interviews (equinox) earned a one spot rise to reflect the portion of voting that is allotted to ‘other groups’. screenshots of this random generation and data can be provided if requested, but as it would be quite complicated/long and image-heavy and ranking is not supposed to be the OOC-focus, i won’t be linking all of it here.
airing schedule
the airing schedule of episodes using footage from first round filming will be as follows:
episode 4: july 24 (round one rankings, rewards & penalties, unit arrangements, rehearsals) episode 5: july 31 (more rehearsals + unit stages) episode 6: august 7 (all round two performances)
any further questions should be directed to the main’s ask box!
points roundup
total available points for muses involved: 35 points (none of the prompts count toward monthly limits.)
+3 points each: a thread revolving around filming for this filming block of at least eight posts (four for each muse) by the deadline (up to twenty-four points / eight threads maximum).
+2 points: completion of in-character interview #1
+1 point: completion of in-character interview #2
+2 points: completion of in-character interview #3
+3 points: up to two self-paras of at least 400 words revolving around filming for this filming block (up to six points total)
starting with this round, please, whenever possible, specify whether an interaction or solo is on or off camera and an exact date (or as exact as possible, ex. ‘first week of rehearsals’) at the top of the first post in the thread / the post of the solo. content that does not explicitly state it is on-camera will not be used for episodes to avoid unintentionally overstepping mun intentions.

base tv: crowned, round 1
project type: competition show
project duration: june to august (airing july to august)
limitations: none
participation: all muses in the roleplay
deadline: july 9, 2022, at 11:59pm edt / july 10, 2022, at 12:59pm kst
in what’s sure to be the idol event of the year, base has teamed up with mnet to announce the production of the ultimate competition show. in a showdown between bc entertainment, dimensions entertainment, and gold star media, the idol group rosters of each company will be competing head to head for the title of idol industry royalty.
all active groups under all three companies will be competing face to face to impress fans, industry specialists, and the public through three rounds in a never-before-seen competition for the crown.
in-’verse info
all groups under bc, dimensions, and gold star are informed ahead of filming that they have been confirmed to appear on a new base-produced competition program, crowned. the general conceit of crowned is to have idol groups compete against each other for the title of the reigning kings or queens of the idol industry. the stakes and importance of this casting may vary for the groups, but the companies have ultimately found the production of this show to be for the net benefit of themselves.
filming for the program will take place from mid-june to late august. the winner will earn a broadcast special of their own on television nationally and on several international television channels, as well as both a special fanmeeting for crowned voters and a special exhibition at the base culture complex when it opens “...and more!”.
filming for the first round will take place from june 20 to july 9.
the mission for the first episode is “representative song”. each group will be tasked with performing a song representative of them in some way, though they are told that assignment is up to interpretation and does not necessarily have to be their biggest hit. the groups will not meet in the same place for the first time for the show until the day they film their stage for this round to build the tension, so each group will be filmed separately in their practice room receiving news of the assignment.
the groups will have from june 20 to prepare their stage in preparation for filming of the final round one stage on july 9. the winners of the first round will win a benefit for the next round.
on june 20, all of the groups will also shoot the promotional photos for the show. these will include group shots of each group as well as an individual shot for each member. no groups will shoot at the same time as each other, but they will all be in green rooms near the photoshoot set the full day for the cameras to get footage of the groups interacting within and between one another.
groups will get to discuss what their representative song and concept should be on camera. the final choice will ultimately be made and reported to the production team by their respective management teams. this is often how the show will work, as creative teams have already been formed and assigned to help work on the performances that will be presented throughout the show.
the songs each group will perform are as follows:
admin note: as crowned is heavily inspired by the real-life queendom and its subsequent spin-off shows, some groups will use exact queendom/kingdom/road to kingdom/queendom 2 stages, while others will be assigned a song and a stage concept reference from one of the shows. for those assigned a “concept” separate from the song, assume the concept, general vibes, staging, etc. would pretty much be the same but for the song assigned instead of the original song.
titan: jealous lily: genie (concept) cloud: beautiful (concept) candy: cheer up (concept) calypso: chi mat ba ram + rollin’ (remix) polaris: on (concept) quantumphase: wonderland (includes main rapper’s rap) arcadia: butterfly (concept) selene: decalcomanie platinum: missing you equinox: red flavor (concept) catalyst: fighter (concept) ultraviolet: playing with fire (concept)
groups will be filmed rehearsing their stages leading up to the big day. some groups may be touring during the time they have to rehearse. they will be renting out practice venues as they travel and production will send a small film and production crew to travel with them to film for their content for the round.
on the first day of rehearsals for each group, the leader will have to draw a card from a clear bowl before rehearsals start. this will, of course, be filmed. from the outside, all of the cards look the same with the show’s logo on them, but on the inside they will either get a penalty, a reward, or an ‘all clear’ (meaning they are not given a penalty or a reward). these will affect either their preparations for the stage or their score on the final stage.
base and mnet have also partnered with vlive for this round. all idols that do a vlive before the airing of the first episode (july 3) will have a special feature enabled that allows viewers to earn extra votes on the show by commenting on and interacting with the vlive. idols are required to mention crowned and its first airing date during the vlive, but should not spoil anything fully (only teasing what might happen to get people to watch).
on the day of the live recording (july 9), the groups will all arrive at the television studio early in the morning to rehearse and prepare to record. at the live recording, the groups will perform in order from least senior to most (arcadia -> ultraviolet -> candy -> catalyst -> cloud -> quantum/phase -> equinox -> polaris -> lily -> platinum -> titan -> calypso -> selene). they will perform in front of a live audience of fans of all groups and a group of ‘special judges’’. the ‘special judges’ from this round will be a group of adults in their 40s who considered themselves superfans of various first generation idol groups, but have proclaimed themselves unfamiliar with the current idol industry.
performances will be scored for this round through a combination of live audience fan votes, votes from the other groups, special judges’ votes, and likes on their performance videos on youtube after the episode, but will not be able to find out their total score and placement until early during filming for the next round.
mun info
muns may reserve pre-made plot points for crowned round 1. these plot points can be found here. a muse can only have one claimable plot point for the duration of the show, but no muse is required to claim any. there will be claimable plot points for each round of the show. if pre-made plot points go unclaimed, they may be carried over to the next round or removed.
claimable plots can be applied for here on a first-come, first-served basis and are entirely optional. if someone gets to your muse’s desired plot before you, you may resubmit for a different ploy.
please note that rankings and special awards that will take place during crowned will be decided through a mix of randomization, influence through muses’ own development, and pre-planned plot points/moments. there are no pre-determined final rankings for any round or for the winner of the show, but randomization will play the biggest role in them. muns should not be focusing on trying to make their muses’ group win, as this is not something that is entirely within any muns’ control and is not the focus of this event. muses may be driven by the desire to win, of course, but that isn’t what should be important out-of-character! please turn your focus to development of your muse through this instead.
the airing schedule of episodes using footage from first round filming will be as follows:
episode 1: july 3 (intro to show and groups, rewards & penalties, rehearsals) episode 2: july 10 (more rehearsals + round one performances by arcadia, ultraviolet, candy, catalyst, and cloud) episode 3: july 17 (round one performances by quantum/phase, equinox, polaris, lily, platinum, titan, calypso, and selene)
each episode will be two hours long.

base designs: inaugural line
project type: merch / product design
project duration: five weeks
limitations: n/a
maximum participation: n/a
deadline: march 12, 2022, at 11:59pm edt / march 13, 2022, at 1:59pm kst
base is planning on opening a new branch of their multimedia project called base designs. the main project under base designs will be a long-term merch line called designed by. the merch line will feature products ranging from clothing to home goods to pet supplies to personal care products, all designed by idols from the three companies that make up base. the first line will be released with the opening of the base culture complex this summer and will be sold online, as well as in the gift shop at the base culture complex.
as such, base is seeking product pitches from the idols under these companies.
throughout february and early march, base will be processing pitches for their designed by line and managers have been instructed to encourage idols to participate. all idols whose products are used will receive a cut of the merch profits (though base will own the intellectual property rights) and will gain additional visibility by way of the merch release. (their participation will also be added to their career section on the exclusive blog.)
for the inaugural line, only one product per idol will be produced, but idols may, and are encouraged to, pitch up to two so that base can provide a wide selection of products.
the price range for products will be up to ₩250,000 (approximately $200USD) and prices will be inflated about 25%-50% higher than a similar product without the idol’s name to it would be, so product pitches should stay within that sellable range. idols themselves will not set the final price.
idols will not be expected to present an actual prototype of the product unless they have the capabilities of creating one on their own. base will have hired teams in charge of actually creating the product and bringing it to life.
suggestions for products include clothing, accessories, beauty products, home furnishings and decor, and pet supplies, though products are not limited to these categories as long as they can be both sold in person and shipped around the world and are reasonably idol-appropriate (no idol-branded e-cigarettes or condoms, sorry!). products should not be food or beverage products, though they can be related such as a lunchbox or a water bottle.
further details about the release of products will be announced at a later date as the base culture complex approaches opening this summer.
points roundup
total available points for muses involved in the album: 18 points (none of the prompts count toward monthly limits.)
each of these may be completed twice: once each for two different product pitches per muse.
+2 points: an aesthetic representing the product being pitched by your muse, plus a description of at least three sentences briefly explaining what the product is and how the aesthetic represents the product.
+3 points: either a headcanon of at least 400 words detailing the product and its pitch or a self-para of at least 400 words detailing the narrative of your muse giving their pitch to a small conference room of base designs project managers. (muses won’t all encounter the same project managers, so you can write about npc employee actions here).
+2 points: bonus points for completing both the aesthetic and headcanon/self-para prompts for two different products.

base music: christmas album, part three
timeline: december 13 - december 30
points available: up to 11 points for muses on the album
deadline: january 2, 2022 at 11:59pm est / january 3, 2022, at 1:59pm kst
for the third (and final) portion of the project, the idols involved in the christmas album will focus on releasing the album and doing mini promotional activities.
all prompt completions for this period should be tagged #famedbasemagic3.
reminder that the open spots can still be taken by submitting here.
in-’verse info
the album will be released on december 20. on december 16, a few days before the album release, the idols on the album will hold a special pre-release listening party at a ski lodge for forty fans. base has opened a special selection process where fans (living in south korea) can submit something such as a letter, cover, or fanart of their favorite artist participating in the album for a chance to win attendance at the pre-release listening party. base staff will narrow the submissions down to about ten or fifteen per idol and will then allow each idol to look through and select two fans to attend the listening party. eight additional fans will be chosen by random lottery.
any currently promoting idols on the album will pre-record their music show performance for mcountdown on the morning of december 16 and will not be present at the live recording. in the afternoon, all of the idols on the album will arrive at the ski lodge where they will help decorate the event room at the ski lodge the listening party will be in. this will be filmed. (this is an example of how the room will be set up and decorated — simple, white, and warm with basic decorations, except there will be sixteen chairs at the front of the room, one for each idol in the album.) the idols will also help to prepare special ‘gift packages’ for the fans consisting of goods such as winter snacks, hot chocolate mix, hats and mittens, and posters from the christmas album photoshoot. the fans will arrive that evening and the listening party event will be about two hours. the fans will be asked to surrender their phones and any other recording devices at the door. the idols will play all of the songs on the album for them and they’ll get to talk a little about their experiences. the listening party will conclude with a fan q&a about the album and a mini fansign of the posters in the ‘gift package’.
that night, after the pre-release listening party, all of the idols will be bused back to seoul, where a practice room has been rented to film a special "practice” version of “all i want” with all of the idols in festive costumes such as santa and reindeer costumes (example 1, example 2). this video will be released as a milestone reward.
the album will not be promoted on music shows but on the day after the album comes out (december 21), the idols will be split into two groups (the first group consisting of those singing all i want for christmas is you and joy ‘; the second group consisting of those singing dear santa, just because, and the carol). they will go on two separate radio shows where they will chat with the host and give radio show performances of their songs (except all i want). they’ll be dressed festively for the radio shows.
on december 30, the whole group will film the final part of their accompanying reality show. they’ll all be taken to a busy shopping district with a film crew and be given their mission: they have two hours to promote their album as many times as they can. promotion can be anything from asking a shop owner to play their song over to shop speakers to buying supplies and making posters to finding a spot to give a free performance of one of the songs. they’re welcome to split off into smaller groups or stay all together but the film crew will keep track of their “promotion points” and for each point earned, base will donate ₩1,000,000 to charity in their name.
at the end of the filming, the idols will take to a stage in a part of the shopping district and perform each song off of the album for unsuspecting shoppers before leaving. videos of these performances by the film crew will be uploaded to youtube later.
mun info
though it is now past the deadline listed on the original post, muses may still be submitted to participate in the project, but you may not join in on writing for the schedules until your muse has been added to the original post.
any further questions should be directed to the main’s ask box!
points roundup

base music: christmas album, part two
timeline: november 22 - december 12
points available: up to 11 for muses on the album
deadline: december 12, 2021, at 11:59pm est / december 13, 2021, at 1:59pm kst
for the second portion (out of three) of the project, the idols involved in the christmas album will finish up materials for the album release and will focus on the idea of “giving back”.
all prompt completions for this period should be tagged #famedbasemagic2.
reminder that the open spots can still be taken by submitting here.
in-’verse info
during this three week period, the music videos for all songs will be filmed and promotional materials will be shot. the music videos for each song will be shot on a day in this three week period that is compatible with the schedules all muses involved and all shoots will be scheduled from early morning to night time. as usual, craft services will be present on set so that no one has to leave for meals.
promotional materials will be shot on november 22. these photos will be used for promotions and will also be included in the physical album photo book. those involved in the project will take photos in their respective song units, but there will also be photos taken of the full group. general promotional photo concepts are as follows:
dear santa: one, two, three all i want for christmas is you: one, two joy: one, two, three just because: one, two the carol: one, two full group: one, two, three, four, five
they will also continue to film their mini reality/variety show. last time, they received the gift of new knowledge and experiences, so this time, the theme is to give back. on a day in early december, all idols involved in the project will take a trip to the children’s ward of a hospital to visit with the kids who don’t often get the chance to see the idols they’re fans of in person at concert or music show filmings. they will spend a few hours there, talking to and meeting the kids and playing with them.
later that same day, the idols will hold a special surprise concert at a struggling cafe. the cafe usually holds concerts by smaller, independent artists and the concert will be advertised as a festive date night for couples with surprise performers. the idols will perform on a small performance area set up in the cafe and each idol involved in the album will get the chance to sing. an acoustic guitar and a keyboard will be available for idols to accompany themselves or for two musicians brought with them to accompany them on. they may sing covers or their own released songs (but not anything on the christmas album, since it won’t be released yet) and may sing solo or in pairs or trios if they wish. the atmosphere will be more stripped down, without the typical bells and whistles of an idol stage, so there won’t be room for any major choreography. idols will be helping out as workers for the cafe during the concert when they are not performing. this will also be filmed for the reality show.
mun info
though it is now past the deadline listed on the original post, muses may still be submitted to participate in the project, but you may not join in on writing for the schedules until your muse has been added to the original post.
any further questions should be directed to the main’s ask box!

base music: christmas album, part one
timeline: november 1 - november 21
points available: up to 11 for muses on the album / 3 for muses not on the album
deadline: november 21, 2021, at 11:59pm est / november 22, 2021, at 1:59pm kst
now that base has contacted and gotten confirmation and from the idols who will be involved in base christmas: the magic of the season, the idols will begin to prepare the album this month.
idols not involved in the album will also have the opportunity to film a short video talking about the season or the end of the year to participate in a teaser for the album release during this period.
all prompt completions for this period should be tagged #famedbasemagic1.
in-’verse info
during this three week period, all songs on the album will be recorded. songs 1 through 5 on the track list will be recorded some time between november 1 and november 14 with dates depending on when the artists of the song are available. “all i want” will be recorded throughout the week of november 15 to november 21. all recording will take place in a large studio space rented out by the team in charge of the album instead of at any of the companies.
everyone recording on the same song will generally be asked to be present all at the same time for at least one recording session day so that the production team can get behind the scenes footage for everyone on that day. some idols may be called back in on additional days to put down more vocals for songs. at this time, idols may briefly cross paths with other idols as their scheduled recording times run into one another.
all of the idols on the album will also participate in a reality show that will be uploaded to the base youtube channel in ten minute clips to give a more personal look at the “magic team”. this show will involve all of the idols coming together to learn and do various activities related to the holiday season. on november 15, all idols on the album will be scheduled to show up at a large kitchen around 8am, where they’ll all learn from one of seoul’s top pastry chefs and make christmas-themed treats such as designed cut out cookies, gourmet chocolates, bûche de noël, and homemade candy canes. that night around 6pm, the idols will meet back together at a warehouse, where they’ll talk to a man who helps design large christmas tree displays throughout the city (example). they’ll then be sorted in small groups of three or four and be instructed to come up with a christmas tree decoration design of their own. as this is all being filmed, this will be made into a competition with the promise that the best design will be used on a real public christmas tree display.
base is also seeking idols, whether they are involved in the album or not, to film a personal video on thoughts and feelings related to either winter or the end of the year to include in a teaser video for the project. idols participating in the video who are not otherwise involved in the album will be encouraged to do so by management who will have the request passed along to them.
these short clips will be included in the magic of the season video base will be uploaded to their youtube channel to tease the release of the album. in order to be included, the idol must submit a video discussing one (or multiple) of the following topics:
what is your favorite winter or winter holiday (christmas, new year’s, seollal, etc.) memory? what is your favorite winter activity? what is your favorite part of winter / christmas / new year’s? what are your wishes for your fans, friends, and family as 2021 comes to an end and 2022 begins? what moment from 2021 are you most grateful for?
idols will be filmed against a blank wall like in these video examples.
mun info
though it is now past the deadline listed on the original post, muses may still be submitted to participate in the project, but you may not join in on writing for the schedules until your muse has been added to the original post.
the “album teaser clip self-para” listed down below in the points roundup refers to the prompt at the end of the in-’verse info section with the questions the muse must discuss at least one of. this should not be written in interview format since it will not be conducted like an interview. the muse will be provided a number of ideas for what they can discuss (the questions listed) and then are asked to briefly talk on camera about it/them without being directly asked any questions.
any further questions should be directed to the main’s ask box!

base music is preparing its first project outside of the colla3orate project and is seeking idols to be involved in a special christmas album.
the idols involved in the special album will also participate as a unit in a variety of promotional activities as a team over the next few months, including an online show following the progression of the album, performances, and volunteering.
in-’verse info
in-’verse, the idols participating in the christmas album will be chosen by the base music a&r team and offered a contract to participate. there will not be a typical audition or casting process.
mun info
in-character, this is an opportunity for the three companies to cash in on the christmas season in the way so many artists before have. the budget provided for the project is higher than would normally be afforded to non-promoted holiday album as each song will have an mv and will be released as a single.
though the album will be officially credited under “various artists”, performers will be individually credited for the specific songs they are on, so performance involvement will be added to your muse’s exclusive blog career page.
if you’re interested in having your muse participate in this opportunity, a form will be opened up at 12am edt / 1pm kst on october 26 to submit your muse for the project. each mun may only have one muse involved in the project.
muses involved in the album will have a series of schedules together over the next two months in three week chunks. during this time, mini schedules will be posted for the idols to earn points for writing about. select days of the process will be filmed to be uploaded on base online and the idols will also attend public events as a group under the name of base’s magic team (in reference to the album name base holiday: the magic of the season).
participation in the christmas album will not impede a muse’s ability to release other music during this time. it may limit their ability to participate in any overlapping limited-cast base projects. if you sign your muse up, please have the intention and ability to participate in writing for the mini-schedules through early january.
any charting will be based on the real life releases.
for all songs except joy, no more than one muse per group may be on the same song. for joy, no more than two muses in the same group may be on the song.
the first schedules will be posted after the open call period has ended.
any further questions should be directed to the main’s ask box!

limitations: open to all
points available: up to 17 points per muse.
tag: #famedbasemagazine
deadline: october 16, 2021, at 11:59pm edt / october 17, 2021, at 12:59pm kst.
news outlet exclusive and joint idol multi-media project base are collaborating to release a special one-issue magazine that will highlight idols under bc, dimensions, and gold star. the magazine will not only feature photos and content of all of the idols under all three companies, but they’ll get to stretch their legs creatively as well as some take on the role of fashion editors and creative directors for their own content.
the more cynical have said this is an attempt by the three companies to get on exclusive’s good side, but, for the most part, fans are buzzing with excitement at the news of more content from their favorite idols.
throughout the month of september into early october, idols under all three companies will be participating in schedules for the special magazine.
in-’verse info
idols under the three companies have been scheduled for various gigs as a part of the special magazine release. these activities will be scheduled over the course of six weeks from the beginning of september to mid-october.
opportunity one: group pictorial
for the special magazine, the team has recruited top photographers and creative directors that have worked with several of the top fashion magazines in korea to craft pictorial concepts for each group under the three companies. each company will shoot a pictorial for the magazine.
note: for the purposes of this, concept references should not be taken as exact mirrors of the photo shoot. they may be solo or pair shoots while the ones in-’verse are group shoots, but they’re meant to symbolize the wardrobe, feeling, and setting of the photo shoots more than exact photos taken during the shoots.
titan: concept reference: “giorgio armani’s power”
lily: concept reference: “perfect day”
cloud: concept reference: “landscape”
candy: concept reference: “blue blue blue”
calypso: concept reference: “aerobic rhythm of the 90s”
polaris: concept reference: “basketball fashion”
quantum: concept reference: “amidst passing time”
andromeda: concept reference: “traveling to starland”
selene: concept reference: “back to the 99s”
platinum: concept reference: “from dusk till dawn”
equinox: concept reference: “night crawlers”
catalyst: concept reference: “one of a kind”
ultraviolet: concept reference: “chanel autumn night”
points:
- 1a. a solo of 400+ words about some element of the pictorial shoot: 2 points - 1b. a thread of at least six posts with a member of the same group during the pictorial shoot: 2 points
opportunity two: solo interview
there will be a series of individual interviews with idols. for those who also do a solo pictorial, this will accompany that spread. for those who don’t, the interview will be included in alongside their group spread. each idol will be asked ten questions, with seven being standard interview questions across all idols being interviewed and three being original questions created by the mun uniquely related to the muse:
- what one word or phrase would you use to describe your 2021? - how have you and your group grown this year? - what has been your muse-have fashion item recently? - how would you describe the concept of your solo pictorial and how you came up with it? / (if you do not plan on muse doing a solo pictorial:) how was your group photo shoot? what were your thoughts about it and during it? - talk about your exclusive x base stage performance. / (if you do not plan on muse doing an exclusive x base stage performance) in your opinion, what are your strengths and weaknesses as a person and as a celebrity? - what are you most interested in these days? - what is something you want to do in the future?
- three individualized interview questions created by mun. avoid controversial, confrontational, or private questions. these may be on topics such as their solo work, things related to their image, general questions on interests and hobbies, or expansions on the six standard questions.
points:
- 2a: complete the ten-question interview: 3 points.
opportunity three: solo pictorial
idols will also be given the opportunity to help serve as fashion editors and stylists for their own solo pictorial. while the main team of professionals hired for the magazine will get final say, this is the most creative controls idols have probably had over a pictorial in their careers up to this point. not all idols will have a solo pictorial in the magazine; muses/muns who do not complete both steps of this opportunity will not canonically have one.
please keep in mind the pictorial cannot be controversial, crude/vulgar, image-damaging, etc. and content such as nudity, smoking, etc. would not be allowed. this is meant to “show their creativity”, but idol image is always a limiting factor. the group pictorial references are a good reference for acceptable tone and content.
the budget will allow travel within 2,500 kilometers of seoul for each solo pictorial if the idol desires to shoot on-location somewhere.
points:
- 3a. post an aesthetic showcasing the solo pictorial and include a description of the concept: 1 point. - 3b. a solo of 400+ words about some element of the pictorial shoot: 2 points
opportunity four: exclusive x base stage
exclusive will be releasing a series of ‘exclusive x base stage’ videos to their youtube channel. this will involve performances videos by idols under the companies. examples: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
idols will get to have a hand in the creative direction for the stage set up, location, and styling for their stage if they wish, but this is optional. travel for an on-location shoot is possible, but the budget will only allow travel within south korea.
muses who have solo original music claims released already may perform an original song if they choose to do this. it does not have to be a single and also may be an ost they sang. otherwise, muses may do a cover of a song.
for covers, please remember to try to avoid songs that are claimable but have not been claimed yet, though there’s more flexibility with songs that are able to be claimed but are less likely to (ex. more recent releases by veteran ballad artists). some suggestions for covers of non-claimable songs are songs by non-korean industry artists, songs originally by bands or with more than three main artists, songs released prior to december 2009, and canonically released / claimed and released songs.
not all idols will have an exclusive x base stage video; muses/muns who do not complete both steps will not canonically have one.
points:
- 4a. post an aesthetic showcasing the stage concept and include a description of the concept: 1 point. - 4b. write a solo of 400+ words about some element of the exclusive x base stage shoot.: 2 points
opportunity five: online exclusive
there will also be another online exclusive video related to the creation of the special magazine.
idols will be paired up and will spend the better part of the day together in a typical photo shoot studio setup. one idol will be asked to direct the styling and the hair and make-up of the other idol to their taste from what’s available to them, and they’ll be able to play around with the studio backdrop, props, lighting, etc. as well. they will then serve as the photographer and take a few pictures of the idol they styled. this is meant to be a light-hearted video series and the concepts aren’t expected to be as serious or professional as the actual solo pictorials. the focus is instead on feeding fans more content and giving unexpected interactions between idols. a video of the process as well as a few of the final photos will be uploaded to exclusive’s website.
idols will be randomly paired, so though anyone can get paired up, for the sake of branching out, this must be completed between two muses who haven’t yet threaded since the restructuring. it’s encouraged this be muses who haven’t interacted much in general before, but that part won’t be enforced.
points:
- 5a. a thread of at least six posts taking place during this filming. (may be completed twice, once as the muse being styled and once as the muse doing the styling, though each must be partnered with a different muse).
points roundup
total available points: 17 points (none of the prompts count toward monthly limits.)
+2 points: 1a. group pictorial solo
+2 points: 1b. group pictorial thread
+3 points: 2a. solo interview
+1 points: 3a. solo pictorial aesthetic
+2 points: 3b. solo pictorial solo
+1 points: 4a. exclusive x base stage aesthetic
+2 points: 4b. exclusive x base stage solo
+2 points (up to 2x for a total of 4 points): 5a. online exclusive thread
as always, please don’t feel pressured to do everything. you may pick and choose what you have muse for!
please remember to tag with #famedbasemagazine.

limitations: open to all
deadline: none, these tasks are indefinitely open to all muses at any time, though points can only be collected for each opportunity once per muse.
while base online has been in existence since base’s advent, mainly uploaded behind the scenes content of base tv and base music projects, base’s management decided to start focusing on getting more eyes on their online branch in 2021. a call has gone out to managers to get their idols more involved in the project by asking them to participate in creating a steady stream of content, both pre-filmed and live, for base online.
in-’verse info
idols under the three companies may at any time be directed by management to participate in creating one of the following video content types:
pre-filmed series
1. "an interview with ___” (#famedbaseonline1.1)
a video involving one idol interviewing another on their career, life, etc. in a professional tone. see here for an example of tone, though not in a podcast setting.
must be completed as a thread of at least eight posts. the interviewer is the only muse that collects points, so the interviewee must do a separate thread interviewing someone to collect points.
2. “pranked” (#famedbaseonline1.2)
a video involving one idol doing a hidden camera prank or playing a practical joke on another idol. this can be a short, minor prank or a more elaborate one as long as it doesn’t provoke a reaction that is damaging to either idol’s image.
must be completed as a thread of at least eight posts. both the muse pranking and the muse being pranked may collect points.
3. “cover by” (#famedbaseonline1.3)
a video covering a solo or duet song of the muse’s choice filmed on a stage set (all muses will film on the same set) with some minor lighting design, basic set options, and the option of live accompaniment (example). this can be singing, rapping, dancing, and/or instrumental but should reflect a muse’s group positions. if you use a reference, please avoid covers released on streaming sites or to channels claimable on the points blog (ex. studio choom, dingo, muply) and be aware that reference will not be officially claimed (i.e. someone else can use the same reference).
must be completed as a solo of 400+ words or a thread of at least eight posts.
4. “ten things ___ can’t live without” (#famedbaseonline1.4)
this is a video where the muse discusses ten items they can’t live without. examples here and here.
must be completed as a solo of 400+ words.
5. “everything i do in a day” (#famedbaseonline1.5)
this is a video where the muse recounts the schedule of their “typical day”. examples here and here.
must be completed as a solo of 400+ word
6. “curated by ___” (#famedbaseonline1.6)
for this video, the muse will create a playlist of their choice of approximately one hour in length. they will then work with the production team to choose a location fitting the mood of the playlist that they will be filmed in as the playlist plays. the location should be fairly simple to access and film at without a large budget, and allow for the placement of stationary cameras. what the muse does during the filming should be simple, background types of activities that won’t distract the listener/watcher, such as taking photos, doing art, writing, eating, driving, reading, working out, cooking, etc. examples here, here, and here (more examples on the same channel, but note that something like smoking for the video would not be allowed as idol image should be maintained).
must be completed as a playlist of around one hour in length and a solo of 400+ words. the complete playlist can be included separate from the solo or the songs can be specified throughout the solo. note: for purposes of this opportunity, the playlist is allowed to count repeat songs used in other playlists for the muse unlike normal playlists for points. a separate explanation of the playlist is not required.
live series
1. advice live (#famedbaseonline2.1)
a livestream giving advice to fans who send in situations and questions they need advice on.
must be completed as a solo of 400+ words or a thread of at least eight posts with a groupmate or with a muse with a face claim of the same presented/publicly assumed gender.
2. how-to live (#famedbaseonline2.2)
a livestream where one muse teaches another muse how to do something they know how to do well, but the other muse doesn’t. this can have either a comedic or serious tone.
must be completed as a thread of at least eight posts.
3. choice live (#famedbaseonline2.3)
a livestream with a format of the idol’s choice, as long as it’s kept appropriate (ex. playing a game, baking, on the spot cover requests, dancing, etc.)
must be completed as a solo of 400+ words or a thread of at least eight posts with a groupmate or with a muse with a face claim of the same presented/publicly assumed gender.
out-of-’character info
you may choose to complete or not complete these tasks whenever you’d you like! each task/prompt/opportunity can only be completed once per muse for points. writing for prompts should only be done if at least one muse in a thread has not collected points for the task previously to avoid an endless number of videos starring the same muse. this is meant to be specific prompts for a limited number of videos on for the base online website over time not a substitute for a personal Youtube channel claim, where a muse has more freedom with type of content and quantity of content.
lives can be assumed to happen whenever you date them from february 2021 onward. pre-filmed content can be assumed to go up on base online sometime from february 2021 onward, from two weeks to six months after it was filmed depending on the amount of tasks completed on one muse dated around the same time.
keep in mind that all pre-filmed videos would be edited and all live videos would be supervised by management to avoid causing scandals.
each thread completed for points should be with a different muse and these tasks cannot be completed through an open thread starter.
please tag all threads and solos with the tag next to the matching prompt. they do not have to be completed in a specific order.
any further questions should be directed to the main’s ask box!
points available
total available points: 18 points (each prompt is worth two points. none of the prompts count toward monthly limits.)
+2 points: interview thread. (1.1)
+2 points: prank thread. (1.2)

+2 points: "10 things ___ can’t live without” solo. (1.4)
