Bridget Jones diaries book review

I just moments ago finished reading this book. I absolutely LOVE the movies. To this day after watching Mark and Daniel fight scenes I still laugh so hard my sides hurt. So naturally I figured why not read the book? So here are my random thoughts on the first book . And guess what spoilers will be spoiled. If you hate spoilers stop reading now. • Mark Darcy is mentioned twice in the first 100 pages. I kid you not • Surprise the book is in Dairy form!!!! • It’s similar to the movie. But Not at all in majority of it lol • When Bridget and Daniel go on the small holiday. Mark isn’t there at all. • When Bridget wears a bunny outfit too the costume party. Someone gave her a dress to “cover up" vs just sucking it up. • Mark does not go the dinner party and then fallow Bridget out to say “I like you just the way you are.” • There is No fight scene in the entire book! Not with Mark /Daniel • Bridget does catch Daniel cheating. She was hiding up in the outside loft instead of the bathroom • Bridget’s Mom is Ridiculous! She’s awful. • Bridget has a brother • Mark asks Bridget on a date. After attending a wedding at Mark’s new place. They don’t go out due too Bridget not hearing the door bell because of her hairdryer • Thankfully the Blue soup scene is in the book. But Mark Darcy doesn’t encourage her or say “if you ask me there isn’t enough blue soup” they do talk about the Blue soup but not in detail. And Jude helps Mark and Bridget with dinner and its not her birthday party. • Bridget s mom runs off with Julio who isn’t a Tv shopping channel host or whatever he is in the movie. Instead the Dude literally Cons all of Bridget s moms friends (including Mark Darcy’s parents) into buying a shared Time Share. • Which makes Bridge mom and Julio criminal and they did off too Portugal • Bridge mom steals all the money. From her husband retirement, put a second montage onto her house. And basically robbed All her friends. Even taking 200 dollars from Bridget • Mark goes to Portugal to find Bridget mother, and to get the money back. • When Bridget mother returns she pretends Nothing is wrong and refuses to go too the police station. Basically being forced to go. • Bridget hints that her mom did a “sexual favor” to be let out. Without being charged .. • Her mother doesn’t understand why she cant go home. Until they get home till they get there and the house is locked. “forced foreclosure by the bank due to her boyfriend stealing all their money. • Mark stays in Portugal for a .month and a half helping as a detective to get the money back. • The parents just get back together. One second they are Separate and they just got the mum back. The next their sleeping in the same bed and are together. (Unlike the movie and we see them talk things out) • Julio appears during Christmas all pissed that his girlfriend was sleeping with her husband. The Mom “Pam” is all hot and horny seeing her boyfriend showing up. Drunk and angry. • Mark appears with the police and makes Bridget get her mom downstairs to safety . She comes down. Shirt inside out. • Mark takes Bridget away form her fucked up family and they go to a hotel where he confessed his love. And they make love. THAT’S right another iconic scene where Bridget runs thru the streets in a sweater and pantless is not in the book. • Page 306 mark Darcy says he loves her • Page 307 the book ends with them sleeping together .

My favorite scene from the entire book! Like many fans know this book is based off Jane Austin “pride and prejudice” Bridget ends up watching the BBC “PRIDE AND PREJUDICE!” and of course Colin Firth is Mr. Darcy in That. And he Plays Mark Darcy’s in the movie. It made me giggle. The irony of it All lol and they also talked about Huge grant. Those small scene were funny.. What I didn’t like • Mark Darcy is mentioned only 3 times between the first page to 170ish. The book is only 307 pages long. I was honestly shocked he’s only really in the Last half. Wont lie. Bought the book thinking it would have more debuts about the character’s. Aka Mark fucking Darcy !! Even after the 170ish pages. Mark had maybe 7 scenes? Maybe. • NONE of my favorite quotes are in the book!!! • Bridget and her friends get drunk Every weekend. And have a “I hate men” rant every damn weekend. And Bridget is drinking almost every day. Bridget got a drinking problem. What is better book or Movie? Honestly? The movie. The book doesn’t have much interaction with Mark and Bridget.

Rating? 5/10 The mom being a criminal did surprise me. .

Moana has her magical ore now that has his signature. ( whxih they showed thru out the Entire movie) plus he said" he lifted over a million islands ( thousands? Idk) and none of it will mean nothing if your not on them"

Disney is soft lunching them! No one can tell me otherwise

Thru out the Entire second movie they kept flashing maui carving on moanas ore. Then when she became a demi God. It stayed and shined bright so?

Like I get she's a young adult. And he's 3000 years old but she's now a demi God so... they. Could get together...

AUGHHHH WHAT DO YOU MEAN Maui has spent his entire life pulling up islands and doing heroic deeds for the love and adoration of humans only to NOW say that he only wants to do it for MOANA!!!!!

It's so painfully noticeable that it was suppose to be a TV show. Cause her "crew" literally did NOtging to move along the storyline.

They added. Nothing to the plot. The guy obbessed with Maui was fun those lol 😆

Need help with z library

And amazon fire tablet.

So I got a amazon fire tablet to read books ( it was cheaper then a e reader)

I download books from z library all the time.

So I download a book it goes into a files. Ans when I click on the book the kindle app opens and I can read it no issue. But the kindle app won't keep my books in the app.

And when I stop reading for the day whatever I go back to files to open a book it starts at the beginning. Can someone help me?
