This is gonna sound wild but I’m tired of growing.

I don’t mean that I don’t want to improve myself or get better as a person but I just wish.. I wasn’t having to change and do that constantly. I wish I could move at a pace that hurts less. I’m tired of climbing the latter of self-improvement without taking breaks, I need a chance to stop and just… be. Allow myself to live with who I am at the present moment, not who I want to be or who I could be.

I need to be ok with who I am now not because “I’ll get better and I’m getting better!” but simply because.. this is who I am. And I don’t deserve to hate myself and I shouldn’t have to place my own worth on a hypothetical future. I’m tired, my emotional bones and muscles are weary and have been stretched too far and too much in a short period of time.

I want to be loved for who I am now, not in spite of it or in the expectation of change.

I want to have my flaws accepted not because they’ll go away but because flaws are ok to have.

I shouldn’t have to be repaired to be worthy, I’d like to be ok with being broken too.

having a really small but heartwarming exchange with a companion, especially if it’s someone you don’t know too well yet, is one of the best things out there I think.

today, i:

drank water

got about an hour and a half of outside exercise time

had a good breakfast and a good after school meal (it's not lunch but it's also not dinner. it's in between the two. it's not lunch because i had a small lunch at school) and am planning a good dinner

made more archery progress and hit a moving target (dw, the squirrel is fine)

all said and done, today has been a good day so far, despite the fact i only got about six hours of sleep! but i learned from that mistake, and now i have an alarm set that tells me when to go to bed!
