My friend @wesonga-01 is an orphanage owner in Buguri, Uganda, and he could really use your help!! Right now, he’s struggling to afford groceries for him and his kids. He used to have more help, and could pay for things by working and donations, but right now, he is the only caretaker after his brother passed. And so these past couple months, he’s been living entirely from you guy’s kindness, which means the entire absolute world to him, and to me!! I’m trying to get more work, and look into grants and things like that, so hopefully soon I can help more than I have been able to, and make the orphanage have a more stable income! But until that’s possible, we still desperately need the help of anyone who has the ability to!!

walking into the house that you had shared with rick, michonne, carl and judith you walked to the kitchen to see rick cooking.

“that smells great. do you need any help?”

he turns to you with a smile, “no thanks. I’m good.”

“alright.” you say smiling. “have you seen carl?”

“I think he left with enid a while ago. if you see him can you tell him i need him?”

you nodded with a smile and walked out to search for him. walking by a few familiar faces you headed towards where you usually find him.

after a few minutes of walking you spotted that sheriff’s hat and new it was him. but you could just barely see him and enid. and they were making out.

your stomach dropped when you saw them. you knew all too well why. with tears in your eyes, you blinked rapidly trying not to cry.

the boy that you loved was kissing someone else.

you felt like smashing enid’s face in, but you knew you couldn’t because it wasn’t her fault.

it was your fault you never had the guts to tell him how you felt.

due to all of the thinking you were doing, you didn’t hear his voice.

“Y/N?” he said worriedly.

snapping out of the trance you were in you blinked the tears away and looked him in his ocean blue eye that you always loved staring into. “yeah? oh right, your dad was asking for you. I think dinners ready.”

“oh alright, see you later enid” he said giving her a quick smile and turning to walk home with you.

at the dinner table, you were helping feed judith and also eating you own spaghetti. conversations were shared whilst you kept quiet.

“y/n? are you alright? you look a bit pale” rick asked you.

“yeah. I’m alright. tired is all.” you said giving him a small smile.

after dinner you went to your bedroom and curled up and cried to yourself for a bit before hearing a knock on your door.

getting up and wiping your tears quickly you opened the door. it was michonne.

“y/n can you watch judith while I go help rick with th- have you been crying?” she asked you, concerned.

“no, I’m fine. I just got something in my eye, that’s all. i can take judith for a while.”

she muttered a quick thank you and left.

for the rest of the night you sat with judith telling her about carl and what had happened. its not like she heard you anyways..

the same scene you saw earlier kept replaying in your head. with a sigh, you put the sleeping judith in her crib and went downstairs with you book.

a few minutes later carl walked in and sat in the chair across from you and cleaned his gun. it was silent for a while until he spoke.

“you sure your okay? You can tell me” he said giving you a reassuring smile.

“I’m okay, really.” you knew it was a lie but you couldn’t tell him that.

“if there is anything wrong you can say it. your like a sister to me”

the same feeling from earlier rose in your chest. it felt like you were being hit repeatedly in the chest.

you stood up.“I gotta go” you said and dashed up the stairs to your bedroom
