He stopped her there. “You’re biased, Mum. I’m an arrogant workaholic who doesn’t get close to new people easily. My opinion on strangers is indifferent at best and at times can be better described as disdainful. I—”

She interrupted him right back. “You’re being too hard on yourself.”

No, I’m just barely scratching the surface....

Okay, so they might all burn to a crisp but the end of it, but for now, a tropical vacation seems to be just what the doctor ordered.

Travis has made an executive decision: time for a vacation. They don’t have a ton a money, not with five kids and only one paycheck, but they can afford some tents on the beach. Helena heartily approves.

Of course, with five kids in one bedroom, you get this happening at 4am. 

Side note, I love the look on the kids’ faces when they realize they might’ve been better off with the monster. 😂

Somehow we managed to fit five kids in this tiny bedroom. Thank goodness for bunk beds.

A typical day in the life of my sims.

Naturally, as soon as his parents’ backs were turned, Jack and Orange snuck off to “hang out” in the treehouse. They are now officially dating.

His parents, of course, have absolutely perfect timing.

This is what manly bro hugs look like, right? Jack wonders, as he slowly begins to realize he’s had a crush on Orange the whole time.

Grandpa stopped by to say hello, the younger boys made a new friend in Lionel Feng (whose parents probably don’t know he’s slumming it in the suburbs with werewolf cubs), everyone’s doing pretty well in school, Travis’s abs are getting more defined by the day (thanks, military career!), and Jack sleeps with a picture of him and his best friend beside his bed, nothing to see here, folks.

In other news, I wish curing illness was as easy as downing a single bottle of medicine.

Lauren is once again making trouble.

Surprisingly, Jack and Orange hit it off right away. He thought he’d be starstruck, both because of Orange’s family and because he’s got the physique Jack is hoping for, but they bonded easily and without awkwardness and were soon the best of friends.

Jack’s created a teen workout club to help keep him on track.
