Bloom: OP uses bloom in a metaphorical way. "Bullet holes blooming in walls": it gives the reader the image of the bullets moving slowly, like a flower blooming.

But my most overused words when I’m writing are:

Smile (any conjugation)

Coil (any conjugation)

Injurious (I think using this multiple times always stands out)

Malefic (Same as injurious)

Bloom, but for not-flowers (bones blooming from your chest, bullet holes blooming in walls, etc.)

So, after some thinking, i actually have quite a few favourite words.

The first three words are - opportunity, curiosity and voyage. Those are the names of space crafts and they sound really fucking cool. Another one of my favourites is a word SCRUMPTIOUS.(I learnt it from one of my mutuals. I can't find this mutual at the moment. I am afraid i might have blocked him on accident D:)

Now, the most favourite word in my native language is this joke-compound word that was created somewhere around year 2010:

Juxtaposition is probably my favourite word, just not of all time. I can't really think of anything else right now. Honestly don't even think I have one, which is bad for this blogs brand 😔. It when two objects placed together give a contrasting effect.

又来 is my favourite mandarin word, since i really like how seven from the donghua scissor seven says it in episode 5 and 9 in season 5. It means "Again" or something along those lines idk.
