Repairer of the Breach

Many years ago, someone prophesied to me that I was the repairer of the breach. I didn't know what that meant fully, but I received it. I read the scripture and studied it. I kept it close to my heart and memory.

Isaiah 58:12New King James Version 12 Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.

What exactly is the "breach" biblically?

A breach is something that separates us from God. This is sin. Sin separates us. So, how is this repaired? One, you repent and stop sinning. The second is taking head to the messenger God sends; the repairer.

This person has 2 Timothy 3: 16 and 17 on their lips!

2 Timothy 3:16-17 New King James Version 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [a]instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

What is another word for breach?

Staying with the biblical meaning of breach, another word to help drive home this understanding is division. When you are walking in sin you are walking along the divide.

How?

Because you know better but won't do better. You can see across the divide (line), or through the breach, but you won't walk in what you know to do.

I was watching a show recently that I liked. Two seasons on a streaming service and I was done: anxiously waiting for the next season.

God took me back to watching the show from the beginning and then finding the scriptures mentioned in the show in later episodes. When God does this, it means I must pay attention to the things I may not have paid attention to the first time. This happened to me in 2014 when I first wrote Prophetic Patterns. Now, I am finishing part two in this series and a new book that ties into time.

I shared this to say, the shows meaning is the DIVIDE. In the show, the divide must be repaired. People are struggling with change because they trusted the wrong people but when the repairer comes even she/he was challenged pressing forward to help all the people.

What will happen?

The work will be done to eliminate the divide. The repairer will pray with you, help you repent, and move forward in God. There is no time like the present to prepare your way back to the will of God.
