i don't know if this blog, or any of my other gacha character blogs (@tales-of-eternity, @thewanderingpuppet, @rattling-reverberations) will really continue

maybe every so often

I know i said something similar in my previous post, but i really do think this is kind of goodbye

of course, i'll still be available for ooc chatting in IMs, or if you want to meet me on my main blog, i'm welcoming to anyone and everyone

and Snack Anon, I'm sorry to be leaving you, but I promise Kai isn't going anywhere

like i said, i'll still post art here and there when i make it, but apart from that this blog is going on an indefinite hiatus

Officially quitting HSR

it's just not fun for me anymore and the story isn't captivating. the characters, while pretty, just feel like fanservice with no substance anymore

there's too much talking and not enough animation. too much standing around

wuwa, while fun, just hasn't grabbed me recently. i do think it's the only gacha game i'm going to keep up with though because i like that the developers actually care about their player base

not abandoning my hsr ocs or any fics i've written of them, but they will be my last priority writing wise

I like my ocs too much to drop them entirely. Kai, Shiwen, Shufen/Tsuriko, Everest, Zeta, and Ovis will still be present and talked about.

fun as the game initially was, i've just been finding more fun in games that take longer to come out and feel like they had more effort put into them

i'll keep up with the lore though, because i like what it's trying to tell, but i just don't think it's getting across as well as I want it to.

Btw, I’m still lacking motivation to continue this blog, but it is slowly rebuilding the more I talk about my ocs one on one with people

It won’t reach the level of activity I once got primarily because I’ve lost interest in gacha games as a whole (except for WuWa for some reason)

However, this does not mean I won’t stop making art or writing for these characters

I will reblog any of my art on this blog and respond to a thread every so often

He hummed a soft 'no', shaking his head lightly. That was a bad idea, it only made his world start spinning. He stumbled a bit, holding onto the wall to steady himself.

"No, I usually drink at home," he groaned. "By myself. This just happened to be closer. Didn't want to go to Scalegoarge. Plus I was out."
