OMFG OF COURSE THE CHARACTER I DESIGN AFTER MYSELF IS THE ONE THAT MAKES ME QUESTION MY GENDER!

I designed Hawkmoth off of my own likeness because I thought it would make him easier to cosplay.

But then I started thinking. "Hey, what if he went by he/they pronouns? That'll make them more of an interesting character and more comfortable in their skin."

It just made sense.

Then Hawkmoth became a trans-man because, as said before, it just made sense.

NOW I'M QUESTIONING MY OWN PRONOUNS AND GENDER BECAUSE I'M SITTING HERE LIKE

"Ah yes, they're a lot like me. Maybe too much."

and then I had the realization that, fuck, I might be generfluid.

and then it got worse because now i'm attaching to the idea that Hawkmoth doesn't like labels and it just hit me that the reason they don't like labels is because i don't like gender labels.

Last night I randomly thought of Bert Reynolds & how he’d often chew gum with sass. That led me to think about whether his legacy will be carried on & if he’ll be remembered years from now 🤔

In order for stars like Burt Reynolds to be remembered years from now, young people need to spread the word & share his legacy with their future children & so on. With so much out there in the world of pop culture & entertainment, late stars like Bert don’t really leave anything that appeals to new generations so they likely won’t be remembered by many as time goes on

Think about all the stars left in the 30s, 40s, 50s, etc because while very talented & highly regarded during their lifetime, they just didn’t resonate with future generations. Their work either wasn’t relatable in the future or they became overshadowed by actors who starred in work that was more popular from that era so their name remained in their decade(s)

How many people under 40 (or over for that matter) know who Hedy Lamarr is? Not only was she a big Hollywood star back in the 30s-50s, she was also an inventor. Her work helped with the creation of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and cellphones

I remember there was a girl in my elementary school class in the 80s named Hedy. I mentioned her name to my parents & they told me she was likely named after the actress Hedy Lamarr (not the head of cabbage I had immediately imagined 🥬) That’s when/how I learned of the actress. Those who know me know that a head of cabbage known as Cabbage Head took on a whole new, important meaning later in my life 😁

And so dear reader, that is how we went from Burt Reynolds to Cabbage Head 👨🏻🥬 As I’ve said many times, in my life, it often all comes back to a Kids in the Hall reference 🤏🏼🤓 and that’s just the way I like it! 😁

but there's not enough characters for the whole quintet and Jingliu would make for a better Shikishima

I was thinking about how CyYu said he cried during the last session for HSR.

Not sure if it has to do with the quest just coming out or a later quest, but their asses better not have killed Yanqing.

Cus if the trailer is anything to go off of, he's getting a suspicious amount of screen time.

Really late night thoughts but Boothill is that kind of dad to encourage all of Kai's bad decisions

Argenti is the dad to discourage any reckless behavior.

Example:

Kai: Can we get Mcdonalds?

Boothill: Sure. What do you want.

Argenti: We have food at home.

Thinking about Argenthill being dads to Kai.

Argenti fussing over how he does his clothes and takes care of his feathers, even helping him find the right products.

Boothill teaching Kai how to cook and fix machinery. He teaches Kai recipes for his specific diet.

Big happy family. And Kai and Argenti can bond over the shared knowledge of maintaining steel (armor and weaponry) considering Kai was a Cloud Knight in the past.

Doing something I haven’t really done before

So, if anyone has been awake for my 12 am rambles, you might be aware of this Castlevania AU I was thinking of making.

As it stands, I have no intention on making it as of right now. But, I am open to ideas about it. I might make a small series of posts relating to it and how it would work.

In fact, I kind of want to make this one big collaborative project. I’m inviting other people’s muses, oc or not, into this universe.

Talk to me on anon, dms, asks, comments, reblogs, whatever. Give me ideas and I will try to make something out of this because it is such a neat idea.

I just don’t know where to go with it.

I am also all on board for crossovers with other fandoms too.
