Kipper is out for a day of shopping with her Auntie Lisha (Melisha Tweedy).

They had to do some clothes shopping first! Melisha wanted some new tops, and Kipper needed a new jumper for back to school.

"Put that back, you NIT!" Mrs Tweedy hissed through clenched teeth. Kipper Tweedy was up to her shenanigans again, this time showing up with a bra wrapped around her head like earmuffs! A neurodivergent ragamuffin child like Kip can drive Melisha a little crazy!

Of course, they'd quickly have a tender moment...

"How does this one make me look,auntie?" Kipper asked with her eyes shining. She found this brilliant, brown plaid top she immediately fell in love with. Mrs Tweedy, tenderly ruffled Kipper's red locks. She never judged Kipper for dressing more "boy-ish". That was just who she was and it made her happy! "You look amazing my darling" Mrs Tweedy replied softly, her heart swelling with love for her niece.

After the clothes were chosen and purchased, Melisha and Kip began their journey home. Kipper's stomach grumbled at the sight of all the hot buns,croissants and pastries in the bakery windiw display. Melisha huffed but realized she was hungry too.

The two were seated just outside on the front patio. Melisha getting some tea, and Kipper getting a icy glass of lemonade (her favorite). Both got a ooey-gooey jam bun. Melisha smiled to herself, watching Kipper's face get smeared with delicious raspberry jam. They didn't often have the funds for such treats, but Melisha loved treating Kip whenever she could because that girl definitely deserved it.

Mrs Tweedy: "Tuck in, darling" Kip:"om,nom,nom,nom!"

It had been a great day. The shopping was done and both left the village with a sweet treat in their bellies. "I love being out with you auntie Lisha" Kipper said affectionately, snuggling her aunt's hand. "Get off before I thump ya!" Mrs Tweedy growled, in her usual gruff manner. Of course Melisha adores this. Mrs Tweedy loved her little girl more than anything. ❤️ 💕 She may be "auntie" but she was mummy in all ways that mattered.

There! I really wanted this project to be successful! Im still really not confident with backgrounds, but i still want to keep including them in my stories as I feel how it truly makes my pieces feel complete.

I love thinking about Melisha and Kip. Melisha is really trying her best to be a surrogate mother to Kip, while still honoring Kipper's biological mother Lucy (also Melisha's best friend). I got inspired by the jam bun from the fanfic "Tweedys of Yorkshire" by Therese, where Melisha eats a jam bun with her coworker. I like to think Kip and Lucy loved getting a jam bun together in the past...and Melisha wants to uphold this special tradition!

I hope you enjoy these, I loved making them! I really would love to make more: with Kipper as a little one, some of Kip with Lucy, and another with Kip with both Tweedys!

Im just imagining how Willard and Melisha would be aa surrogate parents to Kip. Omg.

Willard being the perfect girl dad and letting Kip get away with everything. While Kip drives Melisha crazy but she'd still love that little girl to bits.

When I came up with Kip I just loved the idea of humanizing the Tweedys, and giving them a child to love and care for.

And im coming up with so much of Kipper's backstory, and it's just giving me life. I'm making myself SO sad thinking about Lucy (Kipper's birth mother) deteriorating due to illness and dying. Melisha, being her childhood best friend and sister in law, taking Kip in while still grieving Lucy hhhhhhh why do I do this to myselfffff

What do you think is Mr Tweedy’s childhood backstory?

From what we know, the farm has been in Willard's family for generations (When he states in the Chicken Run movie "we've always been egg farmers; me father, and his father, and his father and all their fathers..") So that tells us he had a dad, and that he grew up on the farm! I haven't given much thought to what my own version of Mr.Tweedy's backstory could look like: I've been picking from other people's headcanons and kinda got attached to those!

-I'm thinking he must have helped with farm chores, and that was just his normal routine for everyday life. I saw one person's headcanon that had Willard be kind of afraid of chickens as a child! (I think this might even be in the book "Pies for the souls") which I think could be really funny. Just picture him trying to gather eggs every morning with shaking hands, as if he were defusing a bomb.

-I like to think he had a good relationship with both parents. Probably got his soft brown eyes from his mother, and got his handy skills by spending a lot of time with his father. I know Jack Tweedy is a common fan character (Mention in "Tweedys of Yorkshire" for example) so I like to think Willard did have an older brother, John Tweedy (but his nickname is Jack).

-OK i would have LOVED to have included a drawing along with this headcanon, but I'm picturing Willard being blond as a child (and his hair getting darker with age) I'm picturing him as this cute, chubby-cheeked kid with soft blond hair.

-I think Mr.Tweedy's love for apple pie came from his mother, who'd make it homemade just for him <3 I read one headcanon where Mr.Tweedy lost his mother quite young, though :( So that is probably a big reason why he's so attached to this particular dessert.

-I'm guessing Mr.Tweedy had a fairly normal. He probably went to a nearby elementary school, where he had a few friends. Some kids were probably mean to him for being kinda slow and gullible. But overall, I'm picturing him as this sweet, friendly kid who was just a bit slow.

hey guys i just wanted to post an update that lately i've been feeling burnt out from work so everything feels like a big effort to me. My vacations are soon, so hopefully this will cure me.

I'm still working on my comic "Gromit's rainy day"! I have the pencil outline for the next page, i just need to find the strength/time to continue it....but it will be done eventually.

Have you played the eggstraction demo or seen gameplay walkthroughs? What are your thoughts on it?

No I haven't played the demo, nor seen any walk throughs(I dont want it spoiled for me)

I actually gave my name to try the game when Aardman was calling for testing. But heard no reply back. I'm in Canada so that's probably why (even though they did claim remote testing was going to be offered) so I guess they went with residents in person over in Bristol.

Im really excited for the game! It's giving another good thing to look forward to! It's more Chicken Run content, so of course I'm happy!

Chicken Run is literally saving my life rn. Like im getting a bit burnt out from working full time all year and my vacations are about 3 weeks away. I feel like im dying lately hhhhhhh

I've been thinking about this concept a lot lately and I've decided to make a mock up of it: Chicken Run gummies! Wouldn't that have been amazing?

Im really inspired by the Scooby-doo gummies from my childhood! So why not turn my all-time favorite thing in the world into a candy itself!

These were done really fast, just to conceptualize my idea...but I had tons of fun making it:)

The flavors are: Lemon Mac, Grape Bunty, Blue Raspberry Rocky, Strawberry Babs, Orange Ginger, Lime Fowler and Pineapple egg!

Im imagining the egg being the matte gummy just like how the blue Scooby gummy is matte too!(and everyone's favorite hehe)
