France's proxy war in Ukraine

Daniel Lazare is a very acute analyst of the current proxy war in Europe. He is correct when he said that Russia is winning, Kiev nazi regime and its western backers are potential losers. But it is safer to say that European Union and European leadership which are under the control of the United States since the end of the WWII hadn’t the choice and their say in military matter as they are submitted both to US diktat and NATO. Except De Gaulle who withdrew France from NATO military command in 1966 and ordered the closing of US military bases, and Jacques Chirac who refused to follow like a poodle Bush’s invasion of Iraq in March 2003, all French presidents have shown their subservience to the United States no matter if their engagement in US endless wars were damageable for the French interests. The former socialist president François Mitterrand engaged France along the US in the Gulf war in 1991 against which the then minister of defense, jean Pierre Chevènement protested and he was forced to resign. Even former president Chirac has shown in a certain way, a subservient posture to the US through his efforts to pull out Syrian presence in Lebanon following the assassination of his close friend, the billionaire former Lebanese prime minister, Rafik Hariri in February 2005 by claiming the establishment of a special court for Lebanon aimed at trying the murders and their supposed backers, Bachar Al Assad government. Such turnabout and subservient posture of Chirac have been confirmed and even amplified by his successor Sarkozy who reintegrated France within NATO’s military command only two months after his election in July 2007, engaging France in all US wars especially NATO’s war in Libya in March 2011. Sarkoy and his successor François Holland were ready to do the same thing in Syria but their planed war against Al Assad regime has been fallen apart when Obama refused to go to war against the Syrian regime barely saved thanks to the Russian support in 2015 and also the president Bachar A Al Assad from suffering similar cruel faith as Saddam Hussein and Muammar Kadafi. In today Ukraine proxy war, the European Union and its corrupt and slavish leadership seem to be impotent and have no choice but to follow blindly their masters in Washington and their endless wars all over the world.

Macron is not France, he is only a foolish and proxy president entered the history by breaking helped by political circumstances following the disaster five year term of the left president François Hollande who was so unpopular that he didn’t dare run again for another five year term leaving behind him the socialist party in decay, reducing his party in small group when he left in 2017. Macron took over the power thanks to Klaus Schwab’s “Global young leaders”, created by the CIA in 2005 aimed at recruiting European young leaders devoted to the interests of the United States in Europe, on one hand, by billionaires controlling the mainstream media in France and big business, on other hand. Within six months before the presidential elections of 2017, this obscure former employee of Rothchild bank became overnight president without any political experience neither in domestic policy nor in International affairs. It is worth noticing that, besides the support of billionaires and world big business, Macron benefited from the surge of neo Nazism IN Europe and the emergence of fascist parties chiefly in France since the 1980 with the former torturer during Algerian revolution, Jean Marie Le Pen  who founded along with many former SS collabos, the National Front, the far right party considered today as the life insurance of Macron regime by allowing him to be elected twice in 2017 and 2022. During the vote in the National assembly last week dedicated to Ukraine, only one party opposed Macron’s madness, Jean Luc Melenchon’s, the unsubmissive France(France insoumise) while the far right party of Marine Le Pen abstained and all other parties of the French political establishment voted for Kiev neo nazi regime. Macron foolish madness starts to worry even inside high ranking military command fearing eventual war with Russia leading to the destruction of the country in case of atomic strike. This foolish and madman ignores the bitter lessons of history with disastrous Napoleonic wars in Russia and nazi invasion of the USSR and also the implacable law of geography with a country of 14,7, million km² and eleven time zones. Hoping that wise and courageous high ranking military would send him to the dustbin of history before committing the irreparable.

Following the demise of the USSR and Eastern European socialist bloc, anti communist crusade continues as the CIA and its European hidden networks have bought academics and journalists highly paid with two main objectives,(1) hammer in the popular psyche the idea that communism has failed,that communism=Stalin=Gulag (2) the pervasive propaganda of TINA(there is no alternative) popularized both by Miss Thatcher, that is there is no alternative to capitalist system and the so called liberal democracy and Francis Fukuyama’s “the end of history” To achieve the first objective, the CIA and its hidden European networks and organizations funded academics, filmmakers, intellectuals and journalists used as proxies to serve the economic and geopolitics of the USA in Europe. Two works to illustrate such anti communist propaganda, it is worth noticing (1) the movie “Good bye Lenin” directed by Wolfgang Becker, Scripted by : Bernd Lichtenberg, Wolfgang Becker, with actors Daniel Brühl, Katrin Sass, Alexander Beyer, Chulpan Khamatova, Florian Luka, (2) the” black book of communism, crimes, terror, repression” a collective work published in 1997 under the direction of the infamous anti communist historian Stephane Courtois and French and foreign historians at the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Bolshevik revolution. Strangely, these fake historians who are but anti communist propagandists have turned blind eye to the crimes, terrors, repression and endless bloody wars of capitalism, and its two corollary colonialism and imperialism. Fortunately, in reply to fake anti communist historian, authors of “black book of communism”, a voluminous and collective book entitled “the black book of colonialism” has been published in 2001 under the guidance of a real and genuine French historian, Marc Ferro, author of several book on the Russian revolution of 1917. In the very seminal book, one can discover for instance that the 20th century was started with the first genocide committed in today Namibia by the German colonizers of the II Reich who were built up the first camps of concentration serving as pattern to nazi camps to intern and to repress between 1904 and the 1908 the revolt of the Herrero, and nama indigenous tribes as nearly 80% of Herero people and 50% of nama people have been massacred and exterminated that is nearly 65 000 Herero and 10 000 Nama.

The western ruling class and its subservient mass media of communications take an ironic look at the Russian presidential elections illustrated by outrageous tone of the Belgian Charles Michel, president of the European Council who already “congratulated” Vladimir Putin for his landslide victory. That is to say that presidential elections in Russia are rigged while in the west, the elections are free and indisputable as the voters freely chose their president and their representatives. It is not in this chat one can refute the idea that western democracy is a full, real and genuine democracy, suffice to take some examples to show that it is not true that western political system is a democracy but as Aldous Huxley called a “prefect dictatorship”. First example, in the pure nazi tradition, Kiev nazi regime has already eliminated and exterminated opposition parties, socialist and communist representatives in the Rada were murdered or exiled in Russia and elsewhere. Second example, in the so called “American democracy”, the choice is not between republican or democratic candidates, but the choice between two candidates selected by the political establishment, the US big business and partisans of US imperialism. Third example, in France, the French people rejected by referendum on May 2005 the European constitutional project establishing and strengthening Brussels dictatorship but two years later, former president Sarkozy has squashed the popular vote, went to Lisbon in order to establish anyway the European treaty that governs today the European Union. Along the French voters, the Dutch and Irish voters rejected by referendum the current European treaty too.

It is bluntly a joke to say, as often hyped by the western mainstream media, the Russian military special operation launched two years ago has “imperialist ambitions”. This Russophobic western propaganda is hidden precisely the western imperialist goals, the perpetuation of more than five centuries of western colonialism and its share of massacre, looting the natural resources of colonized people and countries in Americas, Africa, the Middle east and extermination of indigenous populations. It is laugh stick to say that the biggest country on the map of the globe with area of 14,7 million KM² was launched a military operation in Ukraine, becoming over time a hybrid war between NATO member states and Russia, with the main goal, gleaning some 60 KM² from Ukrainian territory. The main trigger of current Ukraine proxy war is first and before all the neo nazi coup engineered by the United sates and European Union in 2014 using mercenaries neo nazi paramilitary shock troops and snipers who committed the massacre of Euromaidan and two months later by committing another massacre of Russian speaking populations in Odessa on May-4, 2014 leaving 42 dead burned alive in the trade Union house. The immediate objective of Euromaidan perpetrators was the suppression of the multinational character of Ukraine, as inherited from the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the decades of progress and development during Soviet Ukraine before and after World War Two. In Parallel to Odessa first resistance to Euromaidan coup, Crimea resisted and survived the coup thanks to the existence of an autonomous, regional government to which the population could turn for protection. Crimea was the only region of Ukraine to have such an autonomous government. This was and remains a legacy of the self-determination policies of the 1917 Russian Revolution. The ‘Autonomous Republic of Crimea’ survived the secession of Ukraine from the Soviet Union (USSR) in 1990-91 and became a thorn in the side of the nationalist government in Kiev that oversaw the transition of Ukraine’s planned economy under Soviet rule to today’s disastrous capitalist economy.

If we look and examine closely Putin’s State of the Nation speech on Thursday, contrary to the controversial opinions expressed by these pundits, If there's one thing that really stands out from this speech, how Russia could be integrated in global capitalism following the plethora of sanctions imposed by the US and the European Union following the Ukraine proxy war.  Exactly as did China under the leadership of Deng Xiao Ping who smoothly transformed the communist Maoist China into disguised capitalism and connected the Chinese economy to global capitalism. Unfortunately for the peace in the world, the then two communist global powers that played key role in International relations and geopolitics and to moderate the appetite of unbridled western hegemony and its endless wars of aggression since the collapse of the USSR, become a mere economic and mercantile competitors looking for the way to do business as usual not to change the balance of power between the West and the rest of the world. It will be improbable that balance of power could shift in favour of Russia or China as today dominant currency, the US dollar represents 88% of total currencies exchanged daily all over the world and this US dollar hegemony will continue even for a decade.
