Hey all!! In light of everything happening with Tumblr, it seems like a large portion of the fandom is going elsewhere. I’m a sfw blog both here and on my main so I don’t think I’ll be deleted, but seeing as how Tumblr’s been flagging things randomly left and right, I just wanted to be safe. Plus, half the fandom is going so. Can’t really run an askblog without askers LOL

The askblog will run from my main there till I can find a better set up for it. And if you’re already there and looking for some communities to join, I run both the Underfell community and the Soriel one and I’d love to see more content for both! All are welcome~ <3

The anon talking about Swapfell is referring to this idea that a few artists are doing. Swapfell is a Fell version of Underswap, and Fellswap is a Swap version of Underfell. (Basically Swapfell is now kkhoppang's original version.) It sounds pretty confusing, but it's more clear with visuals. (Such as blackggggum's post/158916403118.) BUT! Please do not feel pressured to accept this. The artists had made it very clear that fans should not be pressuring others to accept this idea.

I’m not sure how I feel about that since I almost feel like it ruins the balance? Like before we had Undertale and Underswap with Underfell and Swapfell being the edgy versions of the two. But having Fellswap as a separate thing seems... superfluous? Though I do appreciate that, at least this way, kkhoppang’s designs will get more limelight :’D

I have always thought of the ‘canon’ Swapfell being kkhoppang’s version though since they were the original creator, so I suppose I’ll continue on with that hahaha As such, I’m content to just watch people engaging with Fellswap from the sidelines and not participating myself since it’s not quite my thing :’)

And to answer that original Anon, yes, I guess that does mean I’m more interested in Swapfell now XD Especially if it means people will be following the characterizations kkhoppang did for the characters! <3))

I just wanted to say that I'm super glad that you seem to like Underswap as well! I feel like a lot of Underfell fans scoff at Underswap and as a fan of both AUs that makes me so sad.

((Aww, dude, nooo. :’( I’m sorry you feel that way!

In my personal experience, I find that people are generally fans of both AUs even if they tend to favour one over the other---it’s just a matter of finding artists/writers that interpret things similarly to you and surrounding yourself with content that appeals to your headcanons. :’D

My advice is to follow and support the blogs that make the sorts of things you like and not to dwell too much on ones that don’t. If it comes down to it and the negativity is really taking a toll on your mental health, block the others if you need to---it’ll be better for both parties that way since everyone gets to enjoy what they like without hurting each other <3

In my case, I love a ton of different AUs so, even if I have my favourites, I have a definite soft spot for Underswap as well. :’) I even have a bunch of worldbuilding headcanons that I’d one day like to write down but Underfell sort of owns me right now so I suppose that’s gonna be put aside for another day ahahaha

I know you said you didn't really care for the popular version of Swapfell but now that Swapfell is Fellswap do you think you'll be more interested Swapfell? (I know this is an Underfell blog but since you've drawn Underswap as well, I was just wondering.)

((I have!! CPAU is fantastic and, back in the day when I was starving for more Underfell content, it was an excellent place to get my fill of the fellbros being absolute dorks ahahaha <3

As for SciFell, I think it’s cute! As is AfterDeath (and LifeAfterDeath :’D) and quite a few others :3 I’m a definite multishipper, so I find a lot of ships really cute hehehe especially if they involve Underfell in some way because I’m incorrigible lmao
