Hazbin Mafia AU
MY THOUGHTS CANT STOP AND I KEEO WRITING WHAT THE HEEELLLLL
Neutral ground=meeting time. Velvette and Carmilla saw the opportunity and took it, now the casino was their reunion point for exchanging information. One time Carmilla takes Vaggie in, and she looks so out of place that Charlie gets to greet her, and now she’s trapped between the smiley ball of sunshine and two murderous women who want to be alone. The ball of sunshine it is.
Lucifer, for obvious reasons, is a regular but no one recognizes him anymore, they already forgot about him, but Lilith’s story is still being told. On one side he’s happy for her, on the other side he misses being important. He finds out that he’s terrible at any game that isn’t poker, so he sticks with it. He has an infinite amount of money from his mafia days, and ist not like he loses every time, so he stays all day and ends up being a master at it. The only one who keeps winning him over is Husk, but he doesn't stay too long for Lucifer to challenge him again after losing that infinite amount of money he had before. In between games, he meets Adam and they become friends not knowing the job of the other.
In contrast with Adam, Vox is terrified to go to the casino for three reasons: 1) Valentino and Velvette will be there. 2) Lucifer will be there. 3) Alastor will be there. Behind that business smile, there will always be the pathetic scared child he once was. He’s also fearing for his life, but who cares, he’d preferred death over humiliation any time.
FRANK LORE XD
he was bought by Alastor, he made the deal with Carmilla and Pentious didn’t know. He felt betrayed by his boss and subordinate, and he has a grutch with Alastor for this reason

Hazbin Mafia AU
MAHAHAHAHHA I WAS GONNA BE MISTERIOUS BUT IM GONNA DO SPOILERS OF THIS SHI T HELL YEAAHH
Vox’s source of blackmailing is former mafia leader Lucifer Morningstar, who is only trying to keep balance in the outskirts since he isn’t working anymore. The legends have it that the real monster of this city was Lilith and that their gangs only merged when they got married, which to a lot of people didn’t convince but they never lost power, in fact, the power only grew from that, but Lucifer was never in charge, all the decisions were always made by Lilith, and the name of Lucifer was never mentioned again. People started to speculate that Lilith had killed Lucifer, but then a pale blond man was seen in the streets and murmurs started to rise at the sight of a little girl in his arms.
Twenty years later a casino is open, the Hazbin Casino, the embodiment of their city, neutral ground. People went there to pass the time, Husk being one peculiar regular. The owner, Charlotte Mourne, contrary to all beliefs, was a kind person, and wanted everyone to get along and be happy, so living in this hell of a city she decided to open the casino, since any other thing would be boring for anyone here. There were a bunch of casinos, but this one was the best by far, and it was all thanks to Alastor the promotor, and Vox the designer. Vox’s being forced to do this by Lucifer, and Charlie doesn't know this. Alastor just likes a little fun, and God forbids him to make Husk happy.
yooooooo what the fuck am i oooooon thus is ammaziiinggg
Emily works at the casino, she’s friends with literally everyone in this town and makes a great prolific for it. Her Aunt Sera is a teacher at the university and she was kidnapped and held hostage by Valentino’s gang, she’s one of their sources of information and is being tortured. Emily goes to the police department and meets Lute and Adam, who doesn't try to do anything and tells her that Sera’s a goner. Furious with this outcome goes to Michael, an acquaintance of hers that she met in one of her trips to [insert random country] and is a personal investigator. Together they go on an adventure while Charlie hangs at the casino and has the opportunity to meet very interesting people, like the creeper who doesn't stop smiling at her with killing intent and the bitch that has her eyes glued to her phone or the depressed girl who want to party all the time and the old man who keeps cheating in his games and gaining an illegal amount of money.
Angel convinces Valentino that working at that casino is the best move he can make right now and then it will be his, so Angel asks for a job as a performer there and keeps Valentino updated, but because it is neutral ground, he can rest a little and be himself for a couple of hours until his shift ends and has to go back to Valentino’s arms again.
#i have no idea where all this is coming from#mafia au#hazbin hotel au#this is way too good#will i ever write it?

Hazbin Mafia AU
maaaaan this is crazy
Cherri and Sir Pentious both work for Zestial and Carmilla respectively. They don't know of the existence of the other until they find themselves in the same mission by accident, somehow it turns out well, and Carmilla decides that they will continue working as a pair, which none of them agreed with at first. Cherri was just one more pawn who got scolded a lot and Pentiour was the 5th division captain of the gang who liked to wear fancy, of course they wouldn’t like each other. Somehow the missions kept going more than great and they started to warm up to each other. At some point, Pentious makes a wrong move, makes a deal with Vox thinking it will benefit the gang, and ends up in jail. Cherri doesn’t get the news, and she thinks he has abandoned her, just like everyone she ever meets.
i love these two so much they're my favorite characters

HAZBIN MAFIA AU BECAUSE I CANT FUCKING STOP THINKING ABOUT IT RRAAAAAHHAHAAHHHHHHH
OK FIRST THINGS FORST: HUSKERDUST
Angel was a model and a part-time actor when he got himself in big debt and met the wrong people and said the wrong thing in front of a mafia leader without noticing, and now to pay for all the horrible things he had done in the past he becomes Valentino’s little whore.
His latest mission was to infiltrate Alastor’s domain, another mafia leader whom Valentino’s been fighting with for longer than Angel has been alive. With his disguise expertise and flirting abilities he climbs to the top very fast, but before he manages to get closer to Alastor, he’s sent to the 1st division, under Alastor’s right-hand man and hitman Husker. Husk is very wary of him and Angel decides to win him over to finally meet Alastor, spoiler: he ends up growing feelings for him.
Husk had always been on the wrong side of the law, and he’s found by Alastor one rainy night after offing an entire gang, Alastor pulls a few strings and somehow Husk owes him his life, so he becomes his most loyal dog. He’s the first to know about his plans and the one to decide who’s loyal to Alastor and who's not. He also has a lot of liberties that no other division captain has, such as Nifty or Frank. They’re ruthless but reckless, and Husk finds himself nannying children.
OFF WE GO WITH THE OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVE IN THIS STORY YEY
Alastor took control over the gang after former mafia leaders Lucifer and Lilith Morningstar disappeared without notice, and has been climbing his way to the top at light speed. He and drug dealer Rosie go way back and she provides for his gang, she’s very impartial when it comes to business, but she will always have a space in her heart for Husk, so Alastor most of the time sends him to deal with her since he has so much work to do. He has a grutch on Valentino just for the sole reason he doesn't like how he dresses.
Valentino is the owner of countless whorehouses, warehouses, and menageries, he’s also a source of money laundering. He has a lot of deals going on with Rosie and Carmilla. Currently, his gang is the most influential in town, and he wishes to keep it that way, but Alastor keeps taking control of a lot of terrain.
Vox and Velvette are cops working under Adam’s command, but they have a contract with Valentino, this is the reason he always comes clean. Unbeknownst to the others, Valentino constantly thinks about offing them any time, Velvette has a reassurance contract with Carmilla and works for her as a spy in the police, and Vox is being blackmailed constantly by an unknown force that holds him back from pulling strings and actually shot down every gang in the city.
Carmilla and Zestial work together as leaders of their own gang. They do a lot of things in the outskirts and deal with weaponry, drugs, and poisons. Also torture. Vaggie is under Carmilla’s protection and is a killing machine without emotions. She’s feared by everyone in the city, and Alastor tries to buy her every time he gets the chance.
Adam is the captain of the police district but he doesn't do his job right, so the commanders and officials don't know what the fuck is happening in Hazbin City.
Lute is lieutenant, she’s Vaggie's cousin but will never admit it and Vaggie doesn’t know this, so on Lute’s search of clues about the gangs, they fight a lot.
nahhaha this is what i got

dont you feel as if the words "I love you" have been used too many times that it starts to sound so flat? you say it to your parents, to your siblings, to your partner, to your friends, and they say it back to you sometimes but they are just empty words. three words that could mean so much but at the same time so little. "actions speak louder than words" but "the pen is mightier than the sword", which one do I have to believe in if the only thing I know is to write, the only thing I know are words. I don't know how to fight, I don't know how to serve you. how can I make you feel loved without feeling fake? how can I make myself feel loved when you say those three words, knowing they lay empty of meaning and fly away like butterflies in october?

hinata shoyo is probably my favorite basic shonen protagonist because i don’t know how much effort it would take to fly or turn super saiyan or achieve a black flash or a rasengan.
but i can imagine what it takes to leave everyone and everything you know to go from japan to brazil, learn a completely new version of volleyball, be awkward around a new roommate and learn 3 different languages (spanish, english and portuguese)
i can imagine burnout from all that plus breaking and rebuilding you muscles constantly and dealing with sand and wind and sun and rain affecting your plays.
the man works as a delivery boy and teaches kids portuguese (not even his first language) to support himself while becoming an established beach volleyball player famous all around rio de janeiro.
what a legend.

Alastor couldn't believe that Husker of all people had convinced him to do this.
He really didn't want to do this, but apparently, there was "no one available to do the job". What a lie. Literally, anyone in this goddamn city would have been able to do this if it wasn't because the damn tv was nowhere to be seen. Valentino had a rage sprout during the blackout and Velvette was getting him distracted before he actually hurt Vox in the process. What a bunch of losers. Who in their right mind let those three take control of the city while he was away? Lucifer wasn't doing a good job, it seems. Well, who was he to judge.
While walking in the dark streets he encountered all kind of sinners. The kind that took advantage of the darkness and the kind that panicked about it. Some of them were upset of having no signal. That's what happens when you put all your trust in an unstable individual. Charlie had told him to get to Vox's tower as fast as possible, but a little time spent in the darkness wouldn't be too bad for their health. Their brains had already rott with those screens, they should touch some grass.
Vox's tower was defended with all its artifacts and armaments, so Alastor opted to use his shadows to get into the building. Inside it was as dark as his shadows. Alastor followed the halls that he remembered leading to Vox's office. It was exactly where it was seven years ago, and when he managed to get in, it was the same as before, but a little more full of monitors. Vox's sharks and some sparks from the cables were the only sources of light. Alastor walked to Vox's motionless body, resting in his chair. He would never admit that he got the goosebumps, but he saw how the cables were still pressed against Vox's TV head, and that something was twitching in the monitors.
"Vox", he tried to call his old pal, but there was no verbal answer. Instead, one monitor glitched and, with the screen still dark, one single little red light turn on. He was listening. Good. Alastor remembered when this kind of thing used to happen before; Vox would try to use more power than he could handle and end up lost on his wires. Alastor always helped him get out. But this time, it wasn't as if he was stuck, no, it looked as if he was hiding from something. "It has been a long time, hm?" There wasn't anything to say, either way. Vox didn't look like he wanted to talk, less to Alastor of all people.
"Just so you know, I was practically forced to be here, so don't get your hopes up," he remembered when Vox used to be so hyped by the mere fact that they were gonna be sitting next to each other on an overlord's meeting. He hoped that hadn't changed between them. Then again, they did have a fight right after he got back.
"Get out of there and bring back the light to the pentagram already, Vox," he was getting tired of this, there was no way this prick was gonna listen to him anyway. The lights, slowly but steadily, started to return to every house in the pride ring. Well, that was something. Still, Vox was on the monitors, doing who knows what. Alastor sighed, of fucking course this asshole didn't have the guts to face him again.
"I doubt the Radioo Demon was just forced to come and calm down a pathetic crybaby," Vox's deep voice said through the speakers. His voice was hoarse, Alastor noticed, as if he had been crying. Vox was right, tho. He wasn't completely forced, but he had been convinced by a very persuasive bartender cat who knew how to read him like a book.
"It's not as if it was my first time seeing you this way. Besides, your partners were somewhat busy at the moment, and there is no one else who knows about your little addiction to getting lost on those electronic snakes."
"Wires," he corrected but otherwise said nothing. Alastor picked at his nails waiting for Vox to do something. He did nothing.
"Well, time's up! I came here with a job and it's done. Have a nice mental breakdown, my dear fellow, may we never see each other again!" Sparks and glitches surrounded the monitors and an electronic wave passed through the wires until getting on Vox's head. His screen tilted on and his face appeared, but he didn't move. Alastor knew that it took a while for Vox to regain full control of his body so he took advantage of those seconds to examine him. His face was drawn in the most boring, disinterested look Alastor had ever seen him do, he wore big eyebags and looked sick overall.
Sometimes, Alastor wished to not smile at all. This wasn't a moment in which he should be smiling, and yet he was. It might have been convenient for him in numerous times, but with Vox, he just felt fake. And Vox knew that.
"If your face wasn't sewn, would you truly be happy to see me?" Vox didn't look up when he talked, but Alastor could see his disappointment in his monotone voice. How he changed in the seven years they were apart. It was almost as if he was a completely different demon.
"Like this? ...No," he summoned his shadows and got out of that sad pathetic tower. On the streets, he took one last glance in his direction, dropping his gaze. He had expected to be meeting his number one fan and only friend. Instead, he met a depressed overpowered overlord who didn't remember when was the last time he truly smiled. And to be honest, Alastor didn't remember when was the last time he was truly happy either.
(I don't know what kind of crack was I on when I wrote this but I found it on my notes, so I edited the fucking grammar and now here it is, enjoy)

it has come to me that for some reason all setters are, like, superawesome players in every thing
when i first read haikyuu i didnt really liked volleyball, the sport was just a meh for me, but reading the manga was very life changing for me. i don't know if you have noticed this before but haikyuu is not only a story about vollebyall
back to the point: i read haikyuu, i started playing volleyball, and now I'm a setter for my team, but I don't feel like I deserve that title. because my team is a little tiny whit obsessed with the sport they all send me videos and posts and memes about it, and more than half of them are about how great are setters and how they can do everything and how they are the backbone of the team and blah blah blah, but I'm none of those things.
in haikyuu, all setters are special in some way: Kageyama is a prodigy who just wants to play volleyball with the very best and even tho he is one of the better players he continues to improve. Oikawa may not be a prodigy but if you tell me he's an average guy I will punch you in the face, that man's obsessed with it and so it drives him to push harder and harder until he wins against all monsters. Atsumu genuinely loves volleyball because its his entire life, his safe place, and he's a prodigy all by himself, he's witty and cocky and enjoys winning more than anything he works hard. and i'd be lying if any of them had an average serve, they're strong, not only them but also Semi, Shirabu, and Kogane, they're all strong players who can take whatever's demanded of them, they have nasty serves and get the job done
two months ago my team got into a local tournament and we haven't lost a match yet, let me tell ya it was not my doing. In fact, I spent four out of six matches on the bench because of an injury. They're all strong and smart and have a lot of strategies that I don't know of because of my absence, they know each other pretty well by now and know what to do or what to say in certain circumstances. I don't. Yet they still choose me in the starter line up in a 5-1 play and half of them wanted me as the captain.
i dont have charisma or am i good with words, I don't know these people as they know each other, I'm not half as good as any of them; yet they still choose to trust me and put me in the most important place in the game
how can i reciprocate my gratitude when I cant even get my serve to pass the net, nor I can set the ball like they want me to set it, or cheer them up when they're down?
I like reading and watching haikyuu, I really do, but i cant stand watching the setters doing a good job knowing that I don't do the same for my team. I want to get better, but my injury draws me back some days and other days is my mental health that is lacking
how can i prove them right when all I'm doing is proving their trust wrong? they're expectant of me and I cant make them feel proud of their decision. not to my team, not to my coach.
yesterday was the last day of coaching of one of our teachers, and I couldn't prove him, not even once, that his teachings had borne fruit. he was expectant of me, he tried so hard to teach me so many things, he even stayed late after practice with me so i could finally do something right... i cant shake the feeling that i might have made him feel useless because i couldn't do what he expected me to do. I wanted to make him feel proud, but all i got was a look of disappointment when we said goodbye.
#vent post#haikyuu#volleyball#setters#fenikorg talks#i want to cry#its not like anyone will read this anyway
