Time dilation and dynamical systems go well together!
By moving faster or slower along a system's trajectory, you change the dynamic of the system (but not its geometry!), and, in some cases end up with a linear system (up to a change of coordinates)!
Even if the function γ depends on the state of the system, time-rescaling is an interesting way of building non-linear observers from a Luenberger observer.
