Happy to finally have an update for your all! I hope to get back to a somewhat regular schedule as i adjust to the big changes in my life. Sorry this wasn't a bigger update, but I'm glad i was able to finish it.

Had my baby a few weeks ago! I have a “no post kid on social media policy” so here’s a sloppy sleep deprived doodle of his newborn goodness 🩷

On hiatus for a while because I’m new at keeping a baby alive and trying to figure it out and help him be safe and healthy and happy.

It’s been a long road. From infertility, two surgeries, IVF, and a c-section, i still can’t believe how lucky I was to get to bring this kid into the world. Thank you all for all your support and patience as I learn how to balance getting back to work while also helping Ken grow.

I'll be giving birth next week, so I'm not sure how long the next update will take me , but I'm going to try my best to get the next one out in about two months. At times i honestly thought i would never get the opportunity to be a parent and this feels so unreal and joyful! Thank you all so much for your support and kindness as i start this new chapter in my life. I'm very grateful <3

Sorry for the slow comic updates. I’m hoping to get the next one done in about two weeks! I’ve been very busy with preparing for baby. Super excited and so happy that things are going mostly ok health-wise for this kid! I just have so much to get ready and so much to learn (taking classes on how to take care of baby correctly and building a suitable/safe baby habitat in my home) . Also turns out making a baby in your body makes you tired as heck and completely obsessed with food. Also I miss being able to feel my feet, but it’s worth it. Fascinating times!

30% is a comically huge cut on top of what patreon already takes. Please, for future support of patreon creators, please avoid the Apple App version of patreon. Open a web browser and support your favorite creators that way to make sure your money goes to the creators and not just disappear into the void of another giant corporate greed hole.

I know lots of fellow artists who need patreon to live and keep making things. Don’t let Apple gobble up what you’re trying to give to them. This is just ridiculous.

*they give creators an option to add the 30% to what they charge the iOS patrons. Yay? 😰 I don’t like anything about this one bit.

Part 248 of  “A Tale of Two Rulers” (May 1, 2024)

A month late, but done! Thank you all so much for your patience. ^_^'

I got unexpectedly delayed by a wonderful surprise! After all the surgeries and ivf, my husband and i got extremely lucky. Our embryo lived and will be born around late fall/early winter! I'm just as surprised as I am thrilled!

 i'm also apparently one of those pregnant people who gets very, very, VERY sick in the first trimester. This was the hardest update i've done in ages just because it's very hard to think clearly and move one's hands precisely when you're constantly fighting off vomiting and unexpectedly falling asleep all the time. I was nervous to say anything at first because i wasn't sure if the baby would live, but it's been several weeks and so far he seems very strong so I think it's ok to give word of his existence (I'm so proud of my lil' one! Fight! Fight! Fight, Lil' Dude! <3).

Updates: Comic, Kickstarter, Cons and More

It's been a while since i posted anything and I just wanted to mention a few things that are in the works for the next several months.

1- ATOTR Updates!:

I plan to get back to updating A Tale of Two Rulers monthly again starting at the beginning of April! ^_^ Thank you all so much for your patience and support! For health reasons I can't sell at conventions for a few more months BUT I still plan to have a booth at:

4- Charity Paintings Auction:

The world news lately had had me excessively angry so I made some paintings for auction that I will be starting in just a bit. Charity auction will be for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. <3

Part 247 of  “A Tale of Two Rulers” (Jan 24, 2024)

Thank yo all so much for your usual patience and kindness! Next update will be in about two months. Hopefully sooner.

I won't be able to go do conventions for a while since getting sick right now would be very very very bad timing with my medical situation, so I took on a big commission and a kickstarter to supplement my income a bit, so that will slow me down. If you happen to like Mothman or/or ita bags, you may like the upcoming KS. I will make a post when it's ready, but I promise I won't spam about it.

(Also, comic will be looking a little different like this from now on because my old set up broke and i had to switch to another one. ^_^')

for those that wonder how the medical stuff is going, I'll put that below the cut so anyone who doesn't want to see it can skip it easier:

Yay for not having cancer! A nice relief there! I'm now taking the various medications required to start my first embryo transfer. I'm really excited but also nervous. It will happen in just a few weeks and i'm really praying that the lil' guy lives and gets to be born. lol, now to enjoy the impossible task of trying to NOT be STRESSED as HARD AS I CAN.

Sorry for the update delay again. The tumor/growth thing came back and I have another surgery scheduled for tomorrow (8th) to remove as much of it as they can again and to double check it to make sure the cells in that area aren’t the cancer kind. Plus dealing with some life things and a family emergency. Will get back to updates soon! Thank you so much to the people who stopped by and said hello at Galaxy con last weekend. Not sure if I will be able to do Ohayocon next month, (depending on medical stuff ) but I hope I can! Sorry again for disappearing

*update!* sorry! I should have made this update weeks ago! I’m ok! The biopsy yet again said no cancer. Sorry I’ve not been so behind and not answering things. My head hasn’t been quite right lately.

I’m also not going to be at any conventions for the next couple months just to be careful with the next part of the ivf process.

Next comic update is almost done! Excited about that! It’s extremely overdue. 😅
