Been in a weird depressive state and existing is, as always, ever taxing.

I have been feeling like a ghost as of late. Like I’m simply haunting the place I inhabit and while I have moments to myself and moments to lock back into reality, I’m simply just over this stage of life. Whatever this stage is.

Whether that it’s being alive or just currently in the place I’m at is up in the air.

Oh, while I’m laying here I have to say for Chasemarsh since I have the most fics planned and working on for them the song I’ve always found myself circling back to for them has been 100 Years by Florence + the Machine. I think actually there’s a few by her that really hit them and their dynamic, especially Kate..there’s a religion — which sounds weird I know but I dunno how else to describe how her voice transcends for me— in Florence’s voice, it’s reverence that I feel ties perfectly to Kate.

I need to make a proper playlist for the ships I’m writing for but I know the number one song will be there, at least for me 😌

Writing is so soothing when I have the time to sit and unpack and sort through my own traumas and fit in my well wishes for all the characters I give more life too.

That being said I hope when things start to settle again for me I can start to post what I’ve been working on. It won’t be perfect and that’s okay but I’m happy to be writing and sorting and planning again.

I REALLY HATE when I’m talking about my desire for romantic love and someone says, “well love yourself.” Like shut the fuck up. Self love and romantic love do not replace each other. They do not fill the same void. And just because I wish there was someone in my life that made me feel special, doesn’t mean I don’t think I’M special. Fuck your projections. Regardless of HOW MUCH you love yourself, it doesn’t replace the energy, strength, commitment, and love that can come from another. As a general note, my feelings aren’t up for debate. I just wanted to vent.
