Random Pedro Boy headcannons.

Jack makes anyone's hot beavage choice perfectly. It's a natural talent. His hot chocolate is to die for.

Frankie knows you what certain shows 'for reasons'. So he will make sure he's home to catch you when you're all excited. He doesn't get jealous but he will tease you about your other boyfriend when he feels how wet you are.

When Din sleeps with his armour off, he sleeps in a full fetal position. So much so that it's easier for you to be the big spoon.

Joel loves bloopers. If people crack up, he's a goner, too. It's one of the things he misses most about pre-outbreak TV. He has a couple of Jackie Chan movies that made their way to Jackson that he watches the bloopers from if he needs a pick me up.

Javi G loves to go bowling. He even has his own ball. It's gold and signed by Nic Cage.

Random Thoughts #1

So, finally having read book 4 of TGCF, my respect for Xie Lian has only grown. He goes through all of this awful, horrible shit and still comes out the other side a good person.

I think it's very telling of his character that even when he wanted to give in to his anger and unleash the humans-face disease on Yong'an, he was still hoping that there was good in this world, that kindness still existed.

It would be really interesting to see a compare and contrast of the scene with the temple and the one in the town because they're interesting in the way they came about. I have thoughts about it but I'm not 100% confident that I have the analytical skills to do it justice.

Anyways, Xie Lian is the best

I don't think we give Doctor Who enough credit for being a rare franchise that lets adults be whisked away on a portal fantasy adventure.

In most of these types of stories, you age out of being an appropriate protagonist. But the first two companions were a pair of fully-adult schoolteachers. Now, there's a template of a companion being a woman in her early twenties, but there's still potential for a broader range of ages. Anybody can stumble through that door and be whisked on an adventure--and be traumatized six million ways, sure, but it's nice to be included.

i think most webtoons should be left alone and away from corporate executives, however IF they start making some more tv show adaptions of webtoons, they should all be animated shows because every time a live action adaption of a webtoon has been made, they all suck, and also because animation FUCKS HARD

like. there’s so many fictional murderers and such that people make edits and fanart/fanfic of and it’s a billion times less problematic than doing that with Actual Real Life Killers. go draw patrick bateman in a maid dress. make some edits of (matthew lillard as) stu and william afton.

have fun with it bc at the end of the day, they are fictional characters and doing that stuff doesn’t hurt anybody. however, doing that with real life killers? that does hurt people.

basically: don’t romanticize actual serial killers when it’s so much less fucked up to just call hannibal lecter your babygirl or draw the riddler as a catboy

i feel like he’d LOVE jane birkin if he delved into that classic french scheme. her mind, her giddiness, her look ((yes i’m biased because she’s my ultimate muse) (not to mention her clear similarities to rory looks wise)) maybe he saw her in a book about classic music or muses in music. a picture of her posed with serge. and he was struck by that perfect grin. colpo di fulmine.
