No safety. No food. No aid. No water. No healthcare. No education. Is this what it means to live? Is this what world accept as life?

If a group of animals were trapped, starved, and cut off from the world like this, people would be outraged. But because it's us—human beings—somehow, the world looks away.

These are unbearable days. Everything feels heavy. Each hour presses on my chest like I’m being suffocated.

My family needs urgent help.

Basic survival has become nearly impossible. Bread—just bread—now costs over $25 a day to make.

We are not asking for luxury. We are begging for life.

Student Chronicles: Scrolling Curiosity

Teacher: 'I cannot remember what the term is can someone look it up on google?'

Students: *not one student attempts to look it up*

Teacher: Never mind, we need to move on anyway.

Based on actual events

This shows a major concern I have seen in the classroom, and it comes from the student not being curious about anything. I knew phones were an issue, but they are a much bigger issue than people think. As you see this student on their phone but as I have the phone screen blown up in the right side of the illustration you can see that this student is not interacting with the media he is consuming, only being a bystander letting the media be and mindlessly scrolling through material not having any opinion or thought about the seen media. The students' curiosity scrolls past them without any interest in seeing where that curiosity would lead them.

This worries me a lot as I teach digital art, and it is very sad to see a whole generation of students letting life pass them by without having ANY genuine interest in something that THEY like, even in a class such as mine where we use all kinds of technology to create art and students have very little interest to try anything if it is not a simple task or done for them.
