Not even sure if any of my mutuals still follow me on this thing after all this time, but hi everyone! Needless to say, I don’t really use this blog any more. Life just proved too crazy for me to maintain my presence here.

I got to thinking about this community again after seeing Barry Keoghan in the cast for the new Marvel movie. Really, the summer of 2017 (when Dunkirk came out and I started this blog) was legendary in so many aspects for me, and so fun! I made a lot of good friends here. It was the first time I really felt like I belonged in an internet community. As stupid as it sounds, it was so strangely rewarding to log in and know I had a group of friends all across the world who were so passionate about the same things I was, and beyond that, knowing I had a whole fandom of people who were all potential new friends. For all the nastiness there is on the internet, this is one of the truly special things that is not so easily replicated in the real world. Thank you all for letting me experience that!

If anyone is wondering what I’m up to now: I am a few weeks away from starting my senior year in college (wow she grown) and am currently doing field research in preparation for my honors thesis (a scholar indeed).

Yes, things are still crazy, but I think it was a mistake on my part to shut out all of my friendships here in response to stress from my other life. If any old mutuals want to follow me on twitter, message me for my @! Even if we weren’t mutuals and you just want to make a new friend, message me! I’m on it all the time but barely tweet, but it’s one ways we can stay connected if you want. I’ll check back over the next few days for any messages.

I will try to reconnect with you guys too (if y’all still remember me 😅). It’s crazy because it’s been so long, so many people have changed their names. Nevertheless, I will always be....fionnanut (ayy 😎👉🏾👉🏾)

But really, thank you to anyone who’s ever messaged me, invited me into a groupchat, supported my chris nolan thirst (LMAOO), or even just reblogged my posts. Again, the internet can be nasty, but Dunkirk was such a wholesome little fandom. Hope everyone is doing well!
