Soul Eater Museum 2025

Whats up kings queens and things WELCOME TO THE SOUL EATER MUSEUM!!!! This is an art gallery event hosted by @thtguyhedge (also @the_backup_ant on twitter), with me and Matt (@mattgamer003 on twitter).

What exactly is this event?

Basically, fanartists can sign up to redraw Soul Eater volume covers—including the SE: NOT and Perfect Edition volume covers.

In total, there would be 50 volumes for artists to redraw.

Guidelines

These redraws will not be strict to the source material and only requires the artist to draw the characters included in them, so you’re free to do as you please.

When posting your piece, use the tag #Soul Eater Museum and mention @thtguyhedge or me in the post. The host himself, Hedge, will be sending everyone a banner and asking for any quote they may wish to leave to be attached directly to their piece!

SIGN-UPS: JUNE 12TH, 2025 - JUNE 19TH 2025 EST

CHECK-INS: JULY 24, 2025 & AUGUST 28TH, 2025 EST (2 week warning)

no you have to contribute to your fandom if you don't want it to die. most fandoms die because people say 'it's so sad watching the fandom die when the hype dies' without doing anything about it. I'm not saying you have to push out 100k word slow-burn fic, I'm not saying you have to make fan art or gif sets or edits or anything. I'm just saying we as a community should contribute to our fandom if we don't want it to die, and by contributing, I'm talking about giving kudos, commenting on your favorite fics, reblogging your favorite art and just talking about your favorite characters. that's enough to keep a fandom alive. that's the most effective way to keep a fandom alive in my humble opinion.

fandoms die because people stop talking about it, fandoms die because people stop engaging with fan content once the hype is gone. what I'm saying is, mainstream media's hype may be gone, but our fandom can stay alive and thriving if us as a community don't let it die.

As in previous years, you are encouraged to create anything for SoulxMaka Week, provided it aligns with the given themes. While we request that you adhere to each day's theme, you are free to share creations for earlier days as well.

You can express your creativity through various forms of art, such as fanmixes, illustrations, GIFs or photo collections, interpretive crafts (like knitting or jewelry), AMVs, fanfiction, or any other ideas that inspire you. As long as your work relates to the SoulxMaka Week themes and focuses on SoMa, it is welcome! However, we kindly ask that you refrain from stealing or reposting others' work. Instead, please reblog content that isn’t yours instead of reposting, as it’s important to honor the efforts of fellow creators.

If you decide to participate, please tag your posts with “SoulxMaka,” “SoMaWeek2025,” “SoulxMakaweek,” or mention us (@soulxmakaweek) so we can easily find and reblog your creations on this blog!

Reverb 2025 Sign-Ups are now open!

Please fill out the form provided if you wish to join Reverb 2025! If you are interested in sign up as both an artist and an author, or a beta and a volunteer writer, etc., you may submit the form again for each additional role.

Sign-ups will stay open from now (Friday, May 23rd) until Friday, June 6th at 11:59pm EST.

Some things to note BEFORE you sign up:

All Participants! There is a Code Word hidden somewhere in the Rules page. Please read through all sections carefully, as you will need to provide the Code Word to complete your sign-up form. There are a few changes that have been made for the 2025 season, so we highly encourage every participant to read all the way to the very end!

All Artists! Please note that your sign-up is also the first check-in this year. Before the end of sign-ups Artists ONLY are required to upload a short summary description as well as any pairings, ratings, and other descriptive details for your project. If you have a rough art draft available, you are welcome to upload that as well, but you are only required to submit a summary and description at this time.
