Hi! I remember the quest very clearly, in fact, it is one of the parts of my early gameplay that I remember the most. I joined in 2016 and was SO eager to jump as a non star rider; so getting/doing that quest was super important and exciting for me. I can’t quite pin point when they removed it, but I honestly don’t remember people being upset that they had to pay to jump. I think we just accepted it as it was and went on, albeit it being annoying. The most outrage I remember was people on youtube saying like, ‘hey that’s kinda weird, I wonder why that’s a thing’ and that was really the extent of it. This is just my experience though, I was pretty young and definitely not very active on Instagram; I also didn’t even know what Reddit was. I’m glad it’s gone for the new player base, but I am happy that I got to experience it as well. I’d also definitely like to hear how other people remember it 🧚🧚

Remember, SSO used to force you to get star rider to jump. This is a real fact, and I am oddly curious on how many players remember it? I am still fairly new and didn't get a chance to witness outrage in history but.. I am sure it caused a lot of outrage. pay to jump, that's new. Can't wait to pay to walk too!.. jk jk.. wouldn't want SSO to get ideas.. Though.. anytime I see people complain just to complain.. without a real reason too, like "Fireflies are hard", I might as well bring up that you had to pay to jump.. and be thankful that it isn't still a thing. lol

I saw these! All of the walls and floors had my curiosity PIQUED. The old starter really dates these too lol yikes-- Such a shame it was cancelled, hopefully they'll come back to it one of these days : ).

Hi again! I made a post recently asking questions about some images I found while searching through the SSO files and people were so lovely and helpful with their responses. So my friend and I actually found more interesting images in the files as well. Unfortunately I did not save any to use in this post, but there was a BUNCH of icons that looked to be for ‘stable decoration’ or just decorating some space in the game (a house?? Apt??) There was also pictures with TUTORIALS for customizing your HS including pictures of different wood stain options for your stable. All of the UI looked older (like from around 2016 or 2017, definitely not recent) which led me to believe we were supposed to get these features a long time ago. I started playing in 2016 and have been adamantly awaiting the day we get stable customization. Does anyone have any theories on why this project has been held off so long? Especially with the promise of usable furniture ��coming soon’ with the addition of Jorvik City 7 years ago.
