Y’all probably noticed but Sir Pentious’s entrance parallels Alastor’s in the pilot.

AND, MY FAVORITE: Val’s manipulative and “loving” voicemails have heart-shaped sound waves while the more unhinged ones are spiky. Fucking ingenious.

Just look at these lmao. The bottom says “So the radio guy’s back. I don’t think you noticed. I didn’t at first — I was too busy being a much more interesting and important person. But fuck it. News is slow today I guess. I’m totally not worried about this guy and neither should you be.”

Honestly!! Don’t mind me I’m just sitting here sobbing 😭

Alastor's mental breakdown in the radio tower really struck a chord with me, especially knowing he needed comfort and healing. It's heart-wrenching to think he suffered alone and not have anyone there by his side (by his own choice) cuz he couldn't allow himself to appear weak or vulnerable to anyone or his friends.

Idk why, but i feel proud of him for coming back to them despite all of that. and he even pulled them on a hug

But at the end, Alastor is just completely alone with his problems, PLEASE, ITS JUST TERRIBLE
