get an sega genesis emulator (these are available everywhere)

get a rom of the original ecco the dolphin (vimm's lair is your friend for this. you can even play on the browser there, no emulator needed!)

then just. play it. even if its like for just 5 minutes. this game is such an unique experience. you will not regret it!

they're making a new ecco game, and you gotta know the original to understand why this is such a good thing!
