It’s been a long time coming, and finally, I can release my review of one of my most anticipated films of the year, which I watched in early March!

A wonderful straight up thriller that tackles serious issues well, that boasts powerful performances, and has VIXX’s N’s/ Cha Hak Yeon’s best performance to date & a great last project for him before his military hiatus (which just started).

A wonderful movie that reminded me of older movies, with performances from Ali and Mortensen that are definitely deserving of their Oscar nominations.

A breathtakingly gorgeous drama with top notch performances, timeless themes, and a very slow-burn draggy middle. However, it's very much worth the watch & does deserve the praise that it got last drama year!

A whole new Carmen Sandiego for a new generation.

A well made drama and a great study on what makes a good marriage & relationship work, filled with great characters, and great performances from leads Han Ji Min and Ji Sung.

Mary Poppins Returns is a fun and whimsical movie that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Emily Blunt makes this iconic character her own & definitely steals the show.

First movie review of the year! "Bumblebee" is the best yet in the Transformers franchise, and was in good hands with Travis Knight. If they keep this up, the future is bright for a franchise most thought was already done.

Final Kdrama review of the year- My Secret Terrius! A fun rom-com/spy drama that was self-aware, and had engaging characters that drew you in all the way until the end.

Rounding the year out with two reviews! First up- Aquaman! It was a fun ride as it knew what it wanted to be, and a visual feast in terms of worldbuilding. However, the pacing & some characterization does suffer.

Merry Christmas, everyone! As a Christmas gift, here’s my review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, a movie that I really enjoyed, and is probably my second best fave Spider-Man movie after Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2!
