🥢Chinatown Hawker

Ordered some takeaways from Chinatown hawker for dinner today (2pax)

Everything was good. Definitely will go back to order more!

-We had a pack of rice too. And yup didn’t manage to finish the rice & the vegetable balls. Feeling bloated now 😂

🐟Grilled Fish @ Kuan Kuan

•Randomly walked around bugis and found this place. So we decided to sit down and eat.

Actually we ordered Spicy Garlic Grilled fish + potato

But when this came and since it’s the first time we ordered like a less spicy we didn’t know how it would turn out. So I was flipping through looking for the potato while waiting for the “soup” to boil. But yeah it looks like mala. Hahah. I thought maybe it’s just less spicy. So I took out some of the peanuts and let it on my plate as I didn’t wanna get it soggy.

I even asked one of the staff if they added my potatoes because I couldn’t find it. GUESS WHAT. It’s not even my fish 😂. So they just took it away suddenly and replaced my fish. I didn’t even try the fish so I didn’t know either. 😂

Hoped they dumped the fish though. Coz covid. 🤷🏻‍♀️

🍕800 Woodfired Kitchen @ Kinex

•Truffle Mushroom Pizza (Verdict: 8/10)

-It’s not bad but not the best.

-Definitely worth a try 👌

•DIY Chicken Breast Pesto + 🍳 Pizza (Verdict: 7.5/10)

- The pizza was a little bland

- They didn’t skimp on the meat but they skimped on the herbs/ spices so it was kinda sad.

- All we could do was to ask for more chili flakes 🥲

So today was the last day of one of my colleague and my boss brought us out for lunch

Wagyu Beef Mushroom Burger with truffle sauce was so good with that twisty fries: 10/10

Mutton Roti John: 9.5/10

- The cheese sauce on the top really gives a better overall flavour. Even though I can’t really stand the smell of mutton this was considered really good. They did well 👍

Stir Fried Seafood Horfun: ?

- Wasn’t my order but the spice level was like super super spicy looks like spicier than mala. So the person who ordered couldn’t even finish x.x

I wanted to have / try a variety of burgers in a single meal and so we did it for my bdae hahaha!

The cheese tongkatsu was so so so good

•Not bad, chicken Thigh meat

•Large portion

•Love the onsen egg (hidden below the meat)

•20% Discount made it worth hahahah.

Verdict: 7.5/10

Worth a try. But might get a little boring after awhile.
