This restaurant opened about a week ago, and I was impressed with the freshness of their food.
I did not like the bacon, it was undercooked for my taste; however that’s just personal preference.
The loaded tostones was delicious. One had ropa vieja and the other had mojo pork. They really piled the meat up high in this dish and the flavors were outstanding.
Potatoes in the huevo scramble needed a little salt and pepper but was good overall. The egg in the dish was absolutely delicious. I’m not sure what they added to make the texture so soft and delectable, but they made it happen.
The empanadas were good but I have had better elsewhere. Very crunchy though, which I like.
Pastries could have had more filling but tasted very good overall.
Okay so this honestly was really disappointing. A lot was wrong here and I have eaten at their place for years. It seems as time goes on their food gets more and more sad.
The lobster was so small that the meat was about the size of 1 shrimp.
There was only 6 shrimp in the basket.
The corn was about 2” long.
Then for the pasta, the shrimp was heavily over cooked and was somewhat tough.
The noodles were over cooked to the point of being mushy.
Delicious breakfast and very friendly people. This and my moms small meal was only $15. Worth it! The water did not taste good though so we just drank from our waters in the car lol.
High prices, but good concept. Will do well with the locals of Melbourne beach. They have a rooftop bar, restaurant, and marketplace for produce. Also I believe the ramen bar is up and running now too.
I can not afford these prices but hey go for it! Lol! Hope they last. It’s a neat idea.
