Late lunch at La Cubana, one block from Marietta Square. The Cuban Sandwich, fries, and Café Cubano were excellent. Maybe the food and espresso are so good because Michael the Archangel watches over the kitchen.

homemade nachos, the tortilla chips were made from scratch, and there's also goat barbacoa slow cooked in mojo sauce. All 3 of my white roommates agree it's the best nachos they've ever had :]

Being married to a foodie is the best because I get to show him all of my favorite nostalgic foods from my childhood and see him enjoy it as much as I used to.

Pan con bistec. Cuban. Miami. Much better than a Cuban sandwich IMO.

Girls Night @Donahabanaresturant located in Boston, MA. They serve the best Cuban dishes and drinks 🍹. There were so many delicious things to order from the menu and I finally decided on the “GAMBAS A TU ESTILO” shrimp cooker in garlic, creole sauce with sautéed peppers and onions. The dish presentation was beautiful as you can see and the tasted divine. Definitely a restaurant worth trying out 😉

Hate living in Florida. I truly do and can’t wait to get back to detroit. However. HOWEVER. You just cannot get the same cuban food in detroit you know my mom just brought home freshly made papas rellenas and I swear to everything holy it’s a transcendent experience eating those
