art history nerd here! when the notre dame burned a few years ago, the most damaged area was the roof. y'know who has a very extensive 3D model of the roof? ubisoft, for assassin's creed! ubisoft has been very involved in the restoration of the notre dame, pledging over half a million euros in support. so yep, that is most likely an assassin's creed dude carrying the olympic torch!

when I see something dated 2019 I think “oh that’s not too long ago” and then I remember that 2019 was not only five years ago but those five years have somehow contained several lifetimes
#2019 was my last year as a student#since i had my first real job#covid happened#then i was unemployed#so I left to Ireland with my bf to get jobs#went to a flatsharing#got the deposit stolen#had to deal with lazy af irish justice system#all that still during covid#then getting back to paris only to move to the south 2 months after#working fine then got unemployed again#and somehow randomly became a teacher#only to have no idea where im gonna live and what i'll do in 3 months#and it's still 2019 in my head#one of my student (19) said it was normal to have trouble with Discord since I wasn't born with it#I feel like im way too old and tired with life but also like im too young and a kid in disguise who has no idea what they're doing#one day I was looking for my class and a student tried to help me asking who was my teacher#it was me#I was the teacher#text
