Right, so just to be clear;

I'm out. Tumblr's no longer a platform I'm interested in using after recent changes to their policy cause it's stupid. Anyone who tries to remove adult content to protect children only furthers the "passive parenting" agenda we have in 2018 where parents expect companies and governments to do the parenting for them rather than maybe SUPERVISING THEIR CHILD. But more than that, I'm all for freeing the nip. Removing pictures just for showing the female nipple, in my opinion, is stupid. They're sexualised only by idea, that's why they must be kept hidden and a man can run around shirtless. It's an extension of the inbuilt sexism in society. So either everyone is getting their tops back on, right this second, or no one is. BUUUT my fellow tumblr users; stop trying to cite sex workers and their loss of profit as to a reason why they shouldn't change. I'm a law student and I won't bore you with in depth ins and outs of the whole thing but in large part it's illegal. Even if it's not illegal in certain counties, it's illegal in others and tumblr has to comply with the laws of every country it is used in as well as several international laws regarding the fact. Do I think personally sex work should be legalised? Yes. Not because I approve of it, but you can't stop people doing it anyway, might as well acknowledge it happens so we can put safe practices and protections up for these people. The majority populace of tumblr seems to agree. Does the law care about your opinion? No. So please.... Stop. It's been giving me a migraine for weeks now. I haven't used tumblr in over a week because it was so annoying to see people bleat on about things they blatantly don't understand. Anyway peace it's been fun but I refuse to give ad revenue money to a company I think can jump up its own ass and die. Peace.

So random late night thought, I was considering making a side blog specifically for RP. Cause sometimes I'm stuck at uni... And would like to RP in the silly hour gaps between classes (won't even lie that's my legit motivation) but like I've never done tumblr RP and don't even really know how it works. Also I'd probs just get super ignored and feel really mortified, haha.

“It’s their game they can do what they want” is not a valid counter argument to anything I have ever said or will say about any game ever.

As someone who consumes their product, supports their company and usually (knowing me) gives shit tonnes of money to games I like, I am ENTITLED to express my opinions. The company are under NO OBLIGATION at all to acknowledge my opinions or do anything about them but I’m perfectly allowed to have them and tell other people about them.

And if I eventually decide I no longer going to support the game or company because of my opinions, that’s fine BUT the company do not want that to happen. Not me, specifically, but whatever demographic I happen to be part of airing that view. They want to keep players. So actually by offering up opinions (maybe not on tumblr to be fair, but on game forums) you’re actually helping the company be aware what it is their players want and do not want. As long as you’re not harassing devs or being a prick to them on a personal level, it’s totally fine.

so about the new worgen…obviously they look great, but the eyes are driving me crazy lol…there’s absolutely zero reason whatsoever for male worgen to get cool glowing orange pupil-less eyes while the females have just…totally normal human ones? I did a quick edit and personally I think they look pretty sweet, so I really really hope girls have those eyes as one of the possible face options!

I hate the new female Worgen model. Looks like a fursuit rather than a savage werewolf. They've been my favourite race since they were released (Yes, even more than Nelves, sorry) but GOD I HATE THE GENDER DISPARITY. THE MALES STILL HAVE THEIR BIG SCARY TEETH AND GET GLOWY EYES AND LOOK LIKE SOMEONE NOT TO FUCK WITH. I DO NOT WANT TO BE PRETTY, I WANT TO STRIKE FEAR IN THE HEARTS OF MEN. GIVE FEMALE TROLLS BIG ASS TUSKS, MAKE TAUREN FEMALES THE SIZE OF A HOUSE, FEMALE NELVES BETTER GET THOSE WELL MANICURED TALONS THE MALES HAVE. In all seriousness, I find it patronising to put the female toons through what is silly irl beauty standards when human males get away looking LIKE THAT. Two Types of DH RPers

The “Altruis” type and the “Kayn” type.

The “Altrius” type are the nicer, less hardcore side. They care just as much about the defeat of the Legion and believed in the cause just as much but disagreed with how Illidan carried it out. They believe that some things, such as lives of the innocent and their own, shouldn’t be needlessly thrown away for their goal.

The “Kayn” type are much more traditional. They’re the devout, faithful followers of Illidan who would cut down anyone who said a bad word about him. Still use old Black Temple methods like killing each other in spars, lashings for discipline and other cruel means.

Neither of these are the ‘correct’ way to RP a DH however it is likely if you are the first type, you have by now left the Illidari.

HOWEVER, and this lately has pissed me off, if you are the first type be aware YOU are not the norm. You’re the weird one. Not the “Kayn” types and you’re a minority.

You can’t call the “Kayn” types Felsworn. This is how the Illidari operated for years and, based on player choice (which based on popularity is usually Kayn even though I personally think Altruis makes more sense) still runs like that. The “Kayn” way is what Lord Illidan himself approved of and commanded.

Neither is more valid than the other— But be aware the norm for the Illidari is brutal. If you choose to RP otherwise that’s fine and laid out for you by one of the main lore characters, Altruis the Sufferer, himself. But don’t call the otherside Felsworn, God, that’s not being Felsworn. It’s traditional Illidari values.
