I got tired of waiting for people to write stuff so I decided to do it myself | Request anything, try me.
Don't wanna be here? Send us removal request.
Note
IF YOU write for hazbin x helluva boss could you do a oneshot stolas x raven!reader whos family only recently became royals and are treated as lesser by the other royal families. the ravens arent as fancy as the other families and dont really care about all the royal stuff so they're kinda looked down upon. they meet at some meeting or you can decide. and make this take place after season 2 episode 9 so blitzo and him have broken up at least for now. thank you a ton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I write for everything. That's why it takes me so long to write because I get a request, watch the entire show/consume the entire source material, then I start writing until I get a new request and the cycle continues. I am the Sisyphus of fanfiction. One must imagine forgetmyname happy. Anyways. Thank you for the request. I needed an excuse to watch season 2 of Helluva Boss. And shoutout to my favorite mutual for inspo for this I lowkey stole major plot elements from your story please forgive me. They're a better writer than I am so if you're interested in reading the inspiration for the latter half of this fic check out this. Also this isn't particularly romantic, just two straight guy cool guy besties (peak reference).
-----
If the parties weren't bad enough, the meetings were. Was being a royal really worth it? Sure, immortality, woo. How nice it is to spend the next ten thousand years sucking up to other pompous avians.
Despite your less-than-enthusiastic outlook on royalty, being the youngest of your brothers made you the prime target for all the busy work one could hope for.
That's why you found yourself here. Due to your family's relative youth in terms of royalty, you're positioned to the very far end of an uncomfortably long table seating representatives from all the royal houses in hell.
What a bunch of pricks.
The etiquette that your parents had drilled into you from such a young age- you truly believe they conceived you to be the perfect little delivery boy to turn errands for them- is the only thing keeping you in your seat and this stuffy cape and outfit on your body.
After a wait that could have lasted from 15 minutes to 15 years, the host of this meeting finally makes his entrance. As much as you like to pride yourself in your blasé attitude, being in the presence of King Paimon is enough to shut you up and sit you down.
"Welcome everyone please stop your yammering and listen to me. God when did there get to be so fucking many of you." Paimon announces as he makes his entrance.
"As I'm sure a few of you know hell is currently experiencing some unfortunate economic... blah blah blah"
Could this get any more boring? As you fight to keep your eyes in focus you notice someone standing by the door behind you. It's one of Paimon's sons. Stolas. Long time no see. You and Stolas used to be close, but the weight of royalty split you two apart.
Wow, he looks just as bored as you. I guess being Paimon's son would mean you get dragged along to a lot of borin- "You! Raven boy. Not to be rude or anything but what do you people even do?" Your internal monologue is cut off by Paimon. You don't respond for a beat, internally laughing at how Paimon literally doesn't know who you are or what your family does but you still have to be at this stupid meeting.
"We keep the humans out of hell, Your Highness." You respond dryly. It takes you a second to even notice that you've responded. The line is so ingrained into your lexicon that it practically says itself.
"Right! That's the totally important job I gave your very... snicker... esteemed family." Paimon snorts out, barely containing his mocking laughter. A handful of other representatives stifle laughs at your expense.
Oh, the joys of being a Corvus Arcana. The least royal royal family in hell.
"Yes well, you're dismissed. You're needed for other important tasks. Prince Stolas will direct you. Thank you for your time." Paimon says with mock sincerity.
Oh. Stolas. Yes. You know Stolas. You're flooded with memories of the two of you back at the old "Center for Princes to be" It was a glorified daycare, really. You two got up to a lot. He taught you a lot about the starts, and bugs, and everything he read about. You taught him how to make spit balls and get out of trouble you put yourself in.
You rise from your seat, flipping your cape as you walk to the door. In royal etiquette flipping your cape at someone is somewhat rude. Exactly what you wanted.
The conversation behind you restarts as you reach the door. Stolas is waiting for you with a nervous smile on his face, almost like he's got bad news.
"Ah, I remember you! I didn't know it was you who my father was talking about! Let's head out, shall we?" Stolas remarks oh so professionally. He's looking right at you, using his eyes to try and convince you he's excited about your new task, but you know him well enough to tell he'd rather be anywhere else right now.
"To what do I owe the pleasure?" you respond sarcastically. Both of you know you were chosen for this because of your less-than-stellar family image.
"Ah! Well! You see- You were chosen for your... unique skills and inspired professionalism! Yes of course!" Stolas sputters out trying to respond without admitting that you were chosen because you're the trailer park trash of the royal family.
A smile creeps onto your face at the owl's half-baked response. He was never the most socially perceptive, even in his youth. You follow the tall owl out of the meeting room and down some of the winding hallways of Paimon's manor.
"Well hopefully my 'inspired professionalism' landed me something to do besides sitting in that room. How bad could it be? As long as it's not something stupid like stacking boxes." You respond lackadaisically. You look to Stolas for a reaction but he seems fully focused on looking at some dusty old paintings on the wall.
Then you round a corner into a freshly moved into bedroom. So fresh that boxes are strewn about. You look up at Stolas who's scratching the back of his head and looking anywhere and everywhere but your direction.
"No way. It's stacking boxes." You state dumbfounded.
"If it's any recourse I will be helping you unpack. That's our mission. Isn't that... heh... fun?" Stolas replies. You look him up and down. Both of you know how stupid this is.
You just sigh.
Twenty minutes later you're unpacking boxes. Your cape is discarded on the bed, the effort of moving boxes with both magic and your birdy body causing you to break a sweat, and as promised Stolas is helping. You can't help but sneak glances at him. He really has changed a lot since you were kids. He's a lot taller for one thing. Besides the obvious physical change, he seems to never have really put himself together. You can tell he's struggling.
Ruffled feathers, quick to anger, and somewhat mopey. To an average royal this would seem pretty normal. Royals aren't known for their vigor and lust for life. To you, these are signs that he's not doing so hot. Struggling to lift a white cardboard box labeled "FRAGILE!" the tall owl is surprisingly human- well, demon? Humanized? He seems a lot more likable than the rest of the royals.
You decide to break the silence. "So tell me. What's a big important bird like you doing unpacking boxes with lil old me?" It's almost self-deprecating the way you look down on yourself.
"Me?- Ah of course he means you- My father brings me along as a secretary of sorts to his meetings when I'm available." Stolas responds while trying to not trip over a box of pillows as he places knickknacks he got out of a box around the dresser.
You snort at his response. "I have a secretary but she doesn't unpack rooms." You banter at him. This seems to irk Stolas. "Yes well since my divorce it seems my father can't resist the urge to assign me silly tasks as if I were some child in need of a distraction." Stolas snaps at you. He drops his volume at the mention of his divorce, which has surely affected how he is perceived by the other royals.
Despite how peeved he sounds by your comment, it sounds more like he's disheartened than truly upset.
You had heard of his divorce. You didn't care. Your family was never huge on the whole arranged marriage thing. You weren't even married yet, which for a prince of your age was unheard of in most other families.
You smile, half sympathetically, half filled with schadenfreude. "Join the club." An uncomfortable silence fills the air after your response. Stolas was aware of how your family is treated. It seemed silly to complain about being assigned trivial tasks like unpacking a room to a Corvus Arcana. It's sort of like complaining about a paper cut to a man missing both his arms.
"I apologize," Stolas says.
"For what?" You respond quizzically. "For how the others treat you. Merely because your lineage is young does not justify the lack of respect or meaningful assignments they've received from the other royals." Stolas says.
The uncomfortable silence fills the air once again. Stolas had always been the only person to treat you like a true royal. Back in the day, he was the only one to play with you, share with you, or even really acknowledge you. You two unpack in silence. After another ten minutes of unpacking you finally can't take it anymore.
"This blows. Wanna ditch this stupid "assignment"?" You stretch your arms and let the box you were carrying fall to the ground with a thump. Stolas looks at you dumbfounded.
"Ditch? Like... 'play hooky'? No... I could never! I'm much to old for that type of behavior now." Stolas seems aghast at the idea of offending his father. You turn around and grin at him. "Oh like anyone's gonna miss us! There's a million servants around here that can unpack this dumb room. Let's ditch this. Or are you gonna tell me you're having a blast?"
"That's not the point. I can't just leave!" Stolas retorts.
"You're an adult now. Plus King Paimon clearly doesn't care what we're up to. No one's checked on us. C'mon, we used to do this all the time. It'll be like back then when we used to sneak away from the nannies at daycare." You rebuttal. You can see Stolas fighting with himself over what to do.
The look on Stolas' face is priceless. There's nothing quite like a royal trying to decide if it's worth doing something considered "non-royal".
"I suppose it's okay to leave unannounced... I read something about the human country of Ireland and how its people say goodbye without saying anything and-" Stolas realizes he's rambling. "Ah well... yes. I guess I'd like to leave."
You shake your head in mock surprise at his overly introspective response. "Follow me."
You two walk in silence for a moment. You're spending the quiet time considering your current circumstances. You and the prince of the Ars Goatia are playing hooky from a meeting neither of you were really invited to. Huh. Interesting spot you've found yourself in.
Conversely, Stolas is trying his best to keep his cool. He's not so used to just leaving these types of things. You two have also not spoken much since you were young. There was never any bad blood or anything, being a royal is just time-consuming.
Stolas follows closely behind you as you walk out of the castle. "So... if you don't mind me asking..." Stolas begins, waiting for your confirmation to continue. After a quick nod from you, Stolas furrows his brow, contemplating his words before speaking, "Your..." He pauses, searching for a diplomatic way to phrase it. "casual demeanor seems almost at odds with your status as a royal. It's always been quite intriguing, I must say. Most other royals tend to carry themselves with a certain..." He gestures with a hand. "formality, shall we say. Your informal manner is indeed a rare sight." Stolas asks you.
The owl's attempts at not offending you are admirable. "Well. My family is much younger than yours, as you know. While your family and all the others gained power at the very start of hell my family rose to power a short three hundred years ago. To put it bluntly, we don't really do all the royal stuff." You respond, trying to explain your family's situation.
"I see... fascinating." Stolas offers. The two of you make it out of the castle without another word.
You two find yourselves behind the castle. You hop up on a small ledge to see over the hedges. Stolas, being tall, can see over just fine.
"Well. The world's our oyster." You say. The night is fresh upon you and the city shines spectacularly below you. You look up at Stolas with a mischievous grin. "How quickly would your dad notice if his fancy schmancy car went missing?"
Stolas snickers at your question. "We'll just have to find out I suppose."
-----
I don't really like how this turned out but I also feel like I say that after everything I write. I'm also pretty rusty (and slightly intoxicated). Life has been up my ass for like two years so that's where I've been. Once again, massive props to freakyfrye for a lot of inspiration behind this. I had no clue where to take it but I read their story and it was great! Worth checking out. Anyways I hope you enjoyed.

OHOHOH I have a good idea for a request :> possibly could I get either headcanons or a scenario, you can choose, of Kris with a reader who had a simular kind of incident to the one Mae Borowski had in NITW? (if you don't know what that is its p easy to search it up there's a whole wiki page for it) hope that made sense!!!!
This has been sitting in my asks for so many months along with a few other posts. I wont lie to you. I forgot my password. Fixed that issue though so here we are. I'm writing this little preamble thing December 10th 2022 so lets see how long it takes me to write this whole thing. Hope you enjoy.

Wise parents in Hometown warn their kids to stay away from them.
Kids too little to even remember why they're supposed to be scared scurry off and kids old enough to remember keep their heads down and walk past them.
The outburst of the only other human in town and the disappearance of Dess Holiday has got to be one of the worst "coincidences" to grace Hometown newspapers ever.
For a while after the incident, you tried your best to recoup your losses. But no matter how hard you seemed to try, no one was interested in humoring your request to be friends anymore.
For 2 years this continued.
To the rest of Hometown you weren't a human, or a monster, but you were a monster. You were a perfect example of why they didn't let many humans live here. A psycho who brutalizes innocent monsters.
That's all you were to them.
You tried to get over it. Can't keep beating yourself up forever right? Time to move on to better things? Right? Your grades began to drop rapidly, bringing you from 3rd in the class to almost last place.
Despite everything, you kept going.
Kris did not understand you. They are one of the very few people who aren't scared of you. They feel for you, as a fellow outcast they get what it's like to just want to curl up in a ball and never leave your bed.
After everything that happened to them, all the yelling, being treated as an outcast, the weird looks, the loneliness, why wouldn't they want to just disappear?
You don't really talk to anyone, sometimes you'll ask them for a pencil but other than that it's effectively radio silence between you and the rest of Hometown.
You rarely smiled, you were rarely seen outside of school or your house, even seeing you at school became a more and more special encounter. You were almost like a secret boss in a video game or something.
You captured Kris' attention and never let go. Why couldn't they stop thinking about you?
"Well that's easy, you have a crush loser." Susie replied to them, throwing another rock into the lake.
Kris didn't believe a word of it.
A crush?
On you?
No way.
No wayyyyy.
Yes way?
I mean just because they thought your smile was so infectious that whenever you wave at them for a pencil they smile, or how even though they know what you did they can't get your face out of their head, or how no matter what you wear you look perfect doesn't mean they have a crush on you!
You probably wouldn't even like them back...
Only one way to find out right?
The sun was setting, signaling for all the other kids to leave the playground and start heading home. Except you. You decided to stay a little longer. Feet brushing through brown mulch below the swing you gently rocked yourself on, hands wrapped around your journal, you heard the sound of footsteps on grass. You glanced up, focusing on the approaching figure which had sat on the swing next to you.
Kris Dreemurr.
After several minutes of uncomfortable silence, Kris broke it.
"I don't think you're a bad person." Kris stated quietly looking to you for your reaction.
"Gee thanks." You said, a little confused with the whole interaction.
"Why don't you come to school anymore?" Kris asked you.
"Why do you care all of a sudden?" You teased, stretching your arms and yawning.
For you, this was just some chance interaction, but for Kris this was now or never.
"Because I miss you." Kris explained quietly.
You froze for a second. Kris missed you? Town crazy person? Wow.
You grinned that crooked grin that Kris couldn't get enough of, before replying.
"Well if you care so much I guess I can show up some more." You proclaimed through your smile.
"I'd like that." Kris said, so quietly you barely heard them.
You stood up from your swing and yawned again. "It's getting late, let me walk you home." You offered.
Kris only nodded before standing up and dusting their pants off. Before they could react you had grabbed their hand and were pulling them along.
Oh.
Oh.
So you did like them back. Would have

Who's the Scariest Person you know?
Got bored, decided to ignore all my requests and write a story.
-----
It will never, never, it will never let me go.
It had been two weeks since the last fountain had been closed, and so with the lack of adventure the malice continued to fester within Kris. Day by day, second by second, Kris struggled against the monster out of sight, but never out of mind.
Kris often wonders in their wandering mind, if they are responsible for their own fate. Maybe subconsciously they created this beast because they knew that it could do it better. It could be them better.
The monster has won, the only thing Kris is left with is the consolation that it hurt the beast more than anyone could in the hundreds of years of being trapped, stuck in a loop by it.
Kris had trapped the beast just as much as it had trapped them, in a stalemate never to be broken, they would live together, they would breath together, and they would die together. Kris had made sure the monster could not go.
The monster was all the madder for that. It makes Kris a little happier.
Today, Kris is with Susie and Noelle, neither of them know the internal conflict Kris undergoes all hours of the day, all days of the week.
The fragile air in the convenience store hangs over all five people inside. Those people being Noelle, Susie, Kris, Sans, and the monster. If it can even counted as a person.
"So convenience store guy, who's the scariest person you know?" Susie questioned.
Noelle shifted on her hooves, incapable of stopping Susie from embarrassing her.
"You wouldn't know him, he's not around anymore." Sans, the convenience store man muttered lazily.
Susie turned around, looking down at Kris, and repeated the question to them. Kris smirked, they were in the belly of the beast, so to speak, but it was not the scariest person they knew anymore.
If there was a sweet Jesus and if there was a god, that god would be it. The monster, so large in its reach before Kris came along. It scares Kris, even after what Kris did to it, and for Kris' opposition they are punished worst of all. Forever trapped with the beast, for the rest of time and much longer still.
Stuck with an uncompromising, unfeeling beast trapped in their chest, knowing exactly what they think. Kris looks at Sans. Inwardly, they are alone, haunted by their demons, demons whom we created because we knew they could do it better.
Kris didn't know who Sans was talking about, but if they were anything like the monster, they did not want too.
-----
I was messing around with writing styles in this one so it's not exactly what you're used too. I made it in like half an hour and it was more made for me than anything, I hope you enjoyed it anyway. I wanted to write some scary player stuff.
I might proofread later, but at time of posting I haven't.

Hey, uh, I was wondering if you could do Kris, Susie, and Ralsei with a reader who has tourettes? Like, where they’d hit their back, make random noises, and jerk their neck and they’re rlly sensitive abt it?
I'm gonna use my little note I leave on my posts at the top to apologize to the people who've requested stuff that I've been taking a long time to respond too. I'm slow. Anyways enjoy.
-----
Ralsei
Ralsei doesn't mind it
Sure if you have a swearing tic he'll get a bit antsy whenever you swear a lot
Other than that it doesn't bother him much
He's very good at making sure you don't hit your head against anything hard
He's always waiting to stick a paw out behind your head to block you from hitting the back of your chair
Expect neck massages
It doesn't really matter if they're effective they just make him feel like he's helping
If you want him to stop he will
He's a bit of a pushover to be honest
He gets sad if you swear at him, even on accident
Sure he perks right back up with some fun fact or short story but still, really?
Even if he is the president of Weenie Hut Jr's he's still nice to you
In social settings he will walk around and apologize to everyone you yell at or make weird noises too
Not that he thinks they're all that weird he's just making sure your first impressions aren't terrible
He doesn't resent you for it, it's not your fault
He'll try and use magic to cure you of it but I doubt that's going to work
He's adamant about trying though so that's pretty sweet of him
He seems like the type of guy to push you if you jerk around in your sleep
He's nice when he's awake but you need a lot of beauty sleep to put up with Susie all day
If you ever bring up how him apologizing to people, or shoving you bothers you, he'll quickly apologize
He didn't know it got to you
He's very willing to stop
He'll comfort you about anything and will let you talk about whatever's on your mind
At the end of the day he's happy he has you, all your flaws included
-----
Susie
Oh no
You're a weapon of chaos now
I don't think you get a say in it either
Let's list some of the fun things Susie and you are going to do shall we?
Making fun of people
Weirding people out
If you're hesitant about it because of your tourettes she's always ready to give you some reassurance
"Why would you want to hide something so awesome? I wish I could get away with swearing at Mrs. Alphys."
If you still don't want to use it as a force of chaos that's okay with her
You two can do plenty of chaos without it don't worry
Will ask and make sure you don't hit your head and hurt yourself
Not as gentle about it as Ralsei but hey who is?
Will most likely pick you up by the scruff of your neck and make sure you sit still and calm down
Won't let you apologize about your tourettes
She doesn't see them as a bad thing so what's the hold up?
Sure it's a "disorder" but who really cares about that
She thinks your cool anyways
She's not the brightest about emotions
Go easy on her if she doesn't fully get why talking about them bothers you
She will never tell you in case it hurts your feelings but she thinks it's funny
Not is a making fun of you way, but in a cute funny sort of way
She just can't really picture you without them
-----
Kris
They're the most chill about it
Might be because they don't talk much though
I guess that makes you pretty different
Opposites attract though right?
They think you're pretty interesting
If you want they'll tone down the pranks the pull on you
I'm sure they want to invite you over to their house but are afraid Toriel might not approve of you
If you explain it to her, she'll understand
You always have a place in their house
You and Kris are partners in crime for trying to steal food
They'll even let you have a bigger slice of pie than them
I'm lying, no they won't, but they've considered it which is basically the same thing
Kris won't really bring up your tourettes
They don't see a reason in mentioning it really
It's just part of who you are and it doesn't bother them so what's the point in pointing it out
They are willing to talk about it if you ever feel bad about it
They'll tell you how they don't care about it and are sure no one else has a problem with it either
No matter the situation you find yourself in Kris is always there to help
-----
Yeah this sucks but I'm too lazy to fix it so I hope you enjoyed.

Hi! I have pretty serious "Kris simping for self-aware Reader" brainrot, so can I please get a one-shot where Kris is absolutely smitten with fem!weirdcore!Reader, probably even attempting to go against the Player? For extra angst point, maybe the Player tries to get them to hurt the Reader? Thank you!!
Heads up, I didn't know what weirdcore was before this so I had to look it up, I hope I got it right.
-----
Kris never thought of themself as someone to fall head over heels for someone. Most of their young life was spent gallivanting through the forest with their brother. Kris didn't know what it was about you that caused them to want to latch onto you and never let go, but something was there and boy was it strong.
You arrived in hometown in a very you manner. Friday, August 13 was the day you just... appeared? A new house in a new clearing harboring a new family with a new daughter. Everything that had to do with you just happened one day and no one but Kris seemed to notice.
Of course, Kris would later find out the reason they could see past the fog of ignorance that stopped the rest of the town from noticing the oddity that was her and her family wasn't a blessing in the slightest.
Kris first realized how much they liked you almost immediately after they met you. Something about the new girl's eyes... the way they looked right through everything as if they were seeing something that only they could see. Maybe it was the way she cocked her head to the side every time she was listening. Maybe it's the little sketches of unimaginable horrors she doodles on her school papers that give Alphys night terror- wait what?
Or maybe, Kris just thought you were pretty.
Kris realized they liked you, a lot. Like a lot lot. So much that they started making their own effort to talk to you and help you with your schoolwork or talk or even just stare into your eyes until they realized that you noticed their staring and started staring right back. The possibilities are endless, one thing Kris did find odd was how you spoke. You were always talking about people like they were cartoon characters or something.
"Hey Catti, how's the not really existing going over there?" You half-joked to your project partner who, instead of stopping the menace who was adding countless eyes to the model house she was making, was very busy texting someone on her phone.
"Stop talking to me. Or I won't be the only one not existing today." Retorted an unphased Catti.
Like... who says that stuff???
Kris thought your strange behavior and constant jabbering about how everything was an illusion was just your own special way of expressing yourself until a particular excursion into their psyche left them at the mercy of one of these 'Real people' you mentioned on occasion.
You noticed your friend's change in behavior instantly. Even though you tended to be a bit... floaty you understood that this was bad. You waited a day to see what this intruder would do and after understanding that they were on a quest of some sort, your first instinct was to strike up a 'friendly' conversation with them.
"Fancy seeing you here, isn't it? Huh. I wonder how many times you've heard me say that? Probably a few right?" somehow, you had managed to take the advantage in a conversation against someone who can literally control time. This caused Kris to remember why they fell for you and kept falling. No matter how bad something seems to be, you can always wrangle some sense of stability out of them.
Even while still trapped, a faded version of their real self, bound to follow their body as it was maneuvered by someone else, you still managed to make them feel like they were safe.
"I knew you wouldn't say anything, you can only program so many responses huh? I just wanted to let you know that no matter how many times you retread these steps, no matter how careful you are, I'll know who and what you are, and I'm gonna get Kris their body back... because I have a few things I never got to say to them, and that's your fault." You said merrily before tripping Kris' body snatcher and walking back to your home.
Kris was still riding the high of what you said while they were piloted back home.
'She knows what's going on... and she wants to help me' Kris thought.
Unfortunately, whatever it was that was controlling them could hear their thoughts. It paused for a moment, then resumed its inspection of Kris' room with a new, monstrous, gleam in the eye. Kris could only imagine the horrors that await you the next day.
You have decided that today would be your planning day, you probably still had some time before fake Kris takes over their body completely, so today, it was time to come up with your main strategy. As you sat outside at recess, writing your plan in the bright little notebook you carried around, someone approached you.
You looked up, seeing empty scarlet eyes behind draped bangs, only revealing pieces of an uninteresting puzzle that was this monster's interpretation of Kris' usually stellar eyes. Kris was using every last bit of control they had to prevent their body and its host from attacking you. Their body reached behind them and grabbed the object stuffed in their belt. Small, sharp, and usually used for cutting pie, Kris' knife hovered behind their back for a moment before raising above their head.
You were all alone behind the school.
You had appeared in town in less than a day.
How fast could it get rid of you?
As it turns out, not very. In less than a second of you noticing the looming threat, you pushed them squarely in the lower stomach knocking them down. You used your foot, wearing one of your mismatched shoes to push Kris' chest to the ground.
The whole process of disarming Kris took less than two seconds. Kris didn't know if the trope of people having a nose bleed when they found something attractive was true, but if it was, this was exactly the moment they would have one.
"Don't you have a real-life to be worrying about right now? Isn't there some cat stuck in an existential crisis you have to go save? Why are you here bothering me and my friends... er... friend." You said looking down at them, foot still on their chest keeping them pinned to the ground.
Somehow, what you had said resonated with this creature, it would be back you were sure, but it seemed to have powered off for now. Kris assumed control over their body again, and when they looked at you, you were even more wonderful than they remembered.
Something clicked inside of Kris at that moment, after being ousted from their body, only you had come to their aid. No matter what issue they had, whether it was small or gigantic, easy or difficult, she was always there for them.
You helped them get up from the ground and before you could say anything they wrapped their arms around you. You looked deep into Kris' eyes, admiring their eyes, once lifeless and fake, now glorious and perfect, like gemstones perfectly cut to fit Kris' face.
And before you knew it, your lips had met.
It was only for a second, probably less, but it was exactly what you had hoped it would be.

Hey, I've been thinking abt requesting something like this for a bit. It's something that doesn't pertain to a lot of people but I thought I might request it anyways. Can I request Kris with a best friend who's mute? I hope that's not too hard to write but it would be nice to read something where I can actually feel like the reader in the story lol. It can just be headcannons if you want but I'd really like something longer. Also can it be platonic but in a way where they're basically dating?Thx
Kris with 'just a friend' who happens to be mute.
This ended up taking longer than anticipated. Usually I wouldn't apologize but it's not every day you run into someone with the same medical condition as you.
-----
• Now, we're going to be assuming Kris can talk
Obviously they don't talk often, but if you're around they usually do a little interpreting.
You two were practically forced to become friends.
When you two entered your first year of school everyone compared you for both being so quiet. That lead to you two actually becoming friends.
"Hey! I don't think I caught your name. Mine's Noelle, what's yours?"
Silence was all a young Noelle got in return, of course by this point she had some experience dealing with quiet people such as Kris.
"Not much of a talker huh? I know just the person who you should play with!"
Noelle practically dragged you two together, and together you stayed.
For the first year or two of school you two redefined the phrase' stuck together like glue'
By this point everyone knew that neither of you were open for much conversation. Especially you.
As the year progressed you and Kris didn't drift apart like Kris did with some of the other people they knew.
The closest you two have ever been is right after Asriel left town.
You had to basically play defense with Kris to avoid them having a whole breakdown.
This is where people started asking each other the question 'Are you SURE those two aren't dating?'
No, the answer is no whoever was being asked probably didn't know.
Enough backstory, more SSS (Silent Specific Subjects)
When you switched teachers from Toriel, who was very aware of your silence, to Alphys who was not to aware to begin with things changed.
You and Kris' desks were separated and Alphys would call on you to answer questions like the rest of the class
Eventually she got the gist of it because whenever she would call on you Kris would raise their hand as fast as possible to answer the question for you, most likely getting it wrong.
Unexpectedly, Berdly thought this was just your way of expressing how dumb you were. It doesn't matter if you're actually very gifted, Berdly saw you panic when you were called on and then your best friend had to answer for you.
His favorite thing to do to you was telling something relating to your unintelligence and then watch as you struggle to express your unhappiness to Kris, Toriel, or Alphys.
Of course Kris would catch on to why you were unhappy quicker than the other two.
That only applies to you if you don't know some for of sign language.
Kris would probably learn too, you might have to force them, though.
Susie treats you about the same as Kris, mostly because she can hardly tell the difference between the two of you.
"Quiet nerd and quieter nerd. You two are gonna do the history project, then I'm gonna say that I did all the work. Got it?"
People really think you two are dating, even you some times.
You two are extremely close, Kris make it their duty to protect you, even if you don't really need it.
But it is nice to know that as long as you stick with Kris, think are going to be ok.

Hope you enjoyed

Hey I'm feeling a bit down so could I request a fic where Kris has been bullying the player whenever they rip them out and one night they wake up and see the player curled up on the floor looking miserable so they get up and sit down next to them and the player starts crying and apologizing for ruining Kris's life, that's when Kris realizes that they've been verbally abusing a depressed person who is their age and start to feel bad, maybe end it with Kris apologizing and they become friends.
I'm not sure if I liked how this turned out but here it is, I hope you enjoy.
-----
Midnight once again. Kris has been in REM sleep for a few hours now so they shouldn't notice you slipping away. Late at night is the one opportunity you get to think about your 'life'.
Well, their life, it's not yours in the slightest. They've made that very clear. When you came into existence you weren't expecting Kris to hate you with such ferocity. You tried reasoning with them but that lead to more difficulty than it solved, everything you tried seemed to lead back to a dead end.
Kris wanted you gone, and there was nothing you could do about it.
Kris twitched, their body convulsing softly before an object was quickly removed from their chest. The object seemed to drag a ghostly imprint of a person behind it, easier to see than a ghost but by no means a true 'body'. Kris hardly noticed it was missing, they just rolled back under their pillow and continued their peace.
The ghostly figure, or as it's commonly called... You... walked as far as they could from Kris before a red string protruded from Kris into them halting their progress. With this, they sat down. They sat cross-legged staring blankly into their hand. They watched as its translucent figure occasionally flickered out of existence reminding them of its nonreality. The soft glow from their soul, the only true link they had to the real world, has been getting softer. Every time Kris tears them from their chest they grow dimmer. Physically of course, but also mentally.
You might expect Kris to be a kind or at least neutral person. That assumption would be dead wrong. Kris, in a metaphorical sense, was a monster to you.
When Kris learned that you could talk, and could hear them when you weren't in control they wanted to get you back for your petty adventures.
"You... creature. I have no words to describe how pathetic you are."
Kris stood hunched over waving a knife at you, keeping you away from them as they berated you. "It makes me sick that I let someone as weak as you ruin my life."
Your glowing red soul, the only semblance of a being you had at the time, flickered as you backed away from the blade Kris was too nonchalantly waving in front of you.
"I just wanted to be someo-"
"Shut Up. You're nothing, the moment you leave you'll be forgotten. You've done such a pathetic job of hurting me that it's practically nothing."
You tried to argue back, you wanted to explain that you just wanted to see them happy. You had tried your best to be a good person. You had made friends, you had saved everyone, you had resisted the urge to reduce everything to ruin. Which for some reason followed you everywhere, but Kris didn't care about what you had to say.
That was the formula that every interaction between you followed, whether it was in Kris' room, or at any point where you were alone. When you were able to create your, failed, ruined vessel to give them something to look at they started insulting your appearance too.
Whether it was calling you too fat or too thin, repulsive, or just plain bad, you tried to take it all on the chin. Unfortunately, even you, a multidimensional being of almost unparalleled control over time, have a breaking point.
That leads to nights like tonight. You sit on the floor facing away from Kris thinking about what you could have done to make them like you.
What did you do wrong?
You did everything right. You spared everyone, you talked to everyone, and you befriended everyone. You even managed to fix your friendship Kris' friendship with Noelle instead of the alternative.
Your eyes welled up with tears, it wasn't uncommon for you to cry, you're human after all, well not according to Kris.
In only a few days, Kris had managed to make you fully believe that everything was your fault. You ruined their life. You took everything from them. What a sad creature you are.
"Why are you here?"
Your head snapped to look at Kris, they were sitting up in bed looking at you. You sniffled, you knew what was coming next, but you couldn't handle it right now. Instead of waiting for Kris to start the usual routine, your brain decided to just break down now. I guess skipping right to the bad part was faster.
You sniffled, the water pooling in your eyes was getting dangerously close to spilling over.
"I'm sorry."
You turned your head back to look at your palm, you couldn't even look at them.
"Huh?"
"I'm so sorry for everything."
"It's a bit late to say that now."
"I wish I could go back and... disappear? I wish I could stop living your life for you, I don't want to ruin it any more." You had started shaking, you hugged your half existent legs to your chest. Tears rolled down your face.
Kris stood up and sat down next to you, what was up with you today? You had never been like this before. They didn't know what to say, for some reason seeing you so... vulnerable finally made them finally realize that you're a person.
This didn't seem like the behavior of an unfeeling, uncaring monster who only existed to take their place. It seemed like the behavior of someone like Kris. Someone young and confused, they don't know who they are, they're scared and trying their best.
Maybe everything Kris was saying wasn't... justified.
After a long pause, Kris spoke.
"I didn't mean what I said. Most of it at least."
"..."
"Listen... you aren't ruining my life. I was just scared that after you left everyone would hate the real me."
Kris poked your arm, it flickered but it was solid. Kris poked you again, this time not to elicit a reaction but to test something. They instantly dropped the conversation topic to tell you their discovery.
"I'm moving on my own."
You looked up to see Kris moving their fingers in front of their face. You mimicked what they were doing.
"Don't you feel empty?"
Kris inspected their chest, all there was to see was a red string leading from their still intact soul to your spine. You two were moving on your own and both living. Of course, you couldn't touch anything, the physical world was still locked away from you, but this was still monumental.
"Hey... if you want to stick around... I wouldn't be opposed to the idea."
You thought about what Kris had said, it felt so weird to hear them say that they didn't want you to leave. It seemed that the endless bickering between you and Kris was all thanks to the suffocating inability to move. It seemed that just being able to move changed their outlook on you greatly.
"Yeah... I'd like that"
Was this a permanent solution to your problem? No. Who knows how long it would be until Kris once again decides they've had enough of you. You still had one question though.
"Kris? You don't actually hate me right?"
"I just hated being stuck. Being unable to move feels like suffocating forever, like I'm trying to surface for air but the water is rising faster than I can swim."
You pondered Kris' words. You would have plenty of time to talk in the future. After that, you two called it a night.
You two would get to know each other tomorrow, tonight had been eventful enough.

honestly, i think that reader wouldn't harm kris but i don't know for the player since even if the two fight kris is going to feel it. also i hope you aren't tired with the kris x reader rqs /lh
The first draft had them having a physical altercation but I decided against it for that reason, If someone requests some sort of follow up to the first post I'll probably go into depth about a fight where you the reader have to fight the player without hurting Kris. No, I'm not sick of writing about Kris, they're character is interesting to me, but I don't mind variety either.

can i request headcannons for kris who has a massive crush on a person (preferably gn) who's like a year older than them and is really nihilistic (i was thinking they would smoke or something, doomer wojak was my inspo for this request) and back when kris was really young you stopped them from getting bullied so now they really like you and try to convince you to stop smoking. (if you do that part)
Headcannons for Kris trying to get their nihilistic crush to stop smoking.
I accidentally replace the part about you being older with you just being a noticeable amount taller than Kris, so I hope that will suffice.
-----
• Pretty much everyone in town knew you were a downer.
• You lived in the apartment complex past those two skeleton's house, alone.
• Everyone else treats you like your one bad day away from a permanent trip to the town graveyard.
• Except that one creepy kid. What was their name again? Kris? Yeah that sounds right.
• You don't know why Kris follows you around so much, you used to just ignore them before the caught you smoking behind the school.
• "If I stop ignoring you, promise not to tell Toriel, she'll rip me to shreds if she finds out."
• Kris really wanted to tell Toriel because they didn't want you to get hurt, they read that smoking really hurts humans, so it probably hurts whatever you are, be that human or monster.
• Selfishness got the better of them though so they didn't tell, that's when they got the job of personal arm rest for you.
• Well, that's one of their three jobs. The other two being personal flower collector and the hardest, trying to get you to stop smoking.
• The flowers are their favorite obviously, they just bring you some from their dads whenever they can sneak one out of the shop.
• You're still pretty oblivious to those flowers not being entirely platonic.
• "If I didn't know any better I'd think you had a thing for me Kris."
• You once overheard Toriel telling Alphys to keep Kris away from you because she had a sneaking suspicion that the reason you smell like ash isn't for the best reasons.
• You got partnered with Kris a lot less on group assignments after that.
• Kris really likes how warm you are, which is a side effect of wearing your black hoodie no matter the seasons.
• Around the time Kris would start hugging you when they had a bad day was when you realized that their not just the creepy kid who keeps your secret anymore.
• They hold your hand a lot when you two are on sidewalks. I guess you made one too many passing jokes about wanting to get hit by Toriel's van.
• I guess whatever makes them feel happy right?
• You value their happiness over yours, which is fine in your eyes.
• Kris really hates seeing you smoke, they usually grab it out of your mouth or just don't let you light one. The only time they've ever let you was when your day was going especially bad.
• Your rent was past due so you were missing school to help the store 'Janitor' out around the store for some cash.
• It was pretty exhausting, your pessimistic attitude was really making you feel like losing your apartment was inevitable. You had gone around behind the store to sit on the curb and smoke. So when Kris showed up with some of their brothers money they stole from his nightstand to help you, it really made you feel better.
• They think your apartment is cool, smells a bit too much like cigarettes for them though. They would hate for you to go homeless because they're not sure the could convince Toriel to keep you around.
• When you get especially down Kris doesn't leave you alone, which is probably for the best.
• Someone who has expressed their distain for the life they lead as openly as you should probably be supervised when things stop going their way.
• Things are probably like that a lot more than you wish, but getting over it is really hard for you, who knows if your getting happier any time soon but ever since Kris showed up your life has at least been a bit more interesting.
-----
I hope you enjoyed.

can i request a lightner reader who was like spamton and jevil (controlled or manipulated by gaster) and clearly knows about outside the world they live in and makes jokes about it with kris? it could be platonic or romantic (do i like self aware reader? yes, i do) but there’s a plot twist, it’s post-snowgrave route.
"You just don't understand... you can't understand. It's like b-"
"Being frozen? Like a force controlling you to move and even the idea of fighting against it is tiring?"
"...Yeah. How did you know?"
You sat next to Kris with your hand on their shoulder comfortingly. The Autumn wind made the graveyard bench feel glacial. No, you weren't in the graveyard to grieve... yet. By your feet was a wagon holding a violently rattling cage. Kris' soul unwillingly resided inside of it, your foot was holding it in place to keep the rattling noise down. The last thing you wanted was Kris to be more conscious of the tugging, empty sensation that felt even colder than the bench.
"Does it matter? Seems like you've got it a lot worse right now."
"It does. If you know anything about that... thing... you need to tell me how to get rid of it."
You lifted your shoe off of the cage and picked it up, you reached your finger through the bars and poked the little heart inside. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Kris flinch.
"Did you feel that?"
"Yeah, it hurt. Is... that bad?"
"Depends. How much damage could they cause in a few weeks?"
"It only to them two to almost kill Berdly. If his parents hadn't realized he was out late he would have died- wait. You're not implying they have to stay that long right?"
"Eh, you'll be fine, just don't wander off. The best thing to do is always have someone around to make sure they don't try anything."
You felt Kris keel against you in pain, they had never kept their soul out this long before.
"Time to wrap things up Kris, we got school off tomorrow 'cause Berdly's in the hospital so I'll spend the night at your place."
You gently opened the cage door and grabbed the softly glowing heart inside, you let it gently float towards Kris before they grabbed it and put it in its 'rightful' place. Kris' expression of pain and fear melted quickly into indifference. 'Kris' then quickly got up to walk away before you grabbed their wrist.
"I think you've done quite enough side quests for one day. We're going back to Kris' house."
'Kris' didn't fight back very hard, if they wanted to they could easily break out of your grasp, but it seems they have at least an ounce of common sense left in them. They know even though you're the only thing standing between them and complete control over Kris if they killed you Kris would do everything to kill them.
"You mean my mom's house?"
"I meant their. Their mom's house. You probably live in your mom's basement."
"I don't get it. Is this an inside joke?"
"Keep pretending to be in control ok? We all know that you're only as strong as your creator let you be.
Before 'Kris' could respond you half walked with them half dragged them out of the cemetery and down the road towards Kris' house. Unlike Kris you weren't as scared of this entity, you understood how dangerous it was but after experiencing what someone who was truly in control acted like you knew that compared to him, this thing was nothing.
Before you could arrive home you were interrupted by Noelle.
"Hey. Do you two know how Berdly is? I'm worried about him."
You weren't sure if she was asking if you knew or if you wanted to know because her dad is in the room right next to his.
"I think he's stable. He should be back in school next week, I heard Undyne is ramping up security now." That last part isn't true, but you wanted to see how 'Kris' would react. They just let out a slow sigh.
"That's good! I feel guilty that I didn't notice he was freezing cold when I tried to wake him up."
"Heh, don't worry you have nothing to feel guilty about. Well see you, we need to get back to Kris' house before their mom gets concerned."
You squeezed Kris' arm in hopes that the real Kris would feel it, you know what it feels like to be controlled, it's not what you would call pleasant by any means. You and 'Kris' walked the rest of the way home in silence, you knew you weren't sleeping tonight, when someone in Kris' situation sleep it makes it a lot easier for their captor to take full control. You were going to stay up and prevent that. When you knocked on Kris' door, Toriel greeted you with a smile.
"Oh! Kris, you didn't tell me you were bringing a friend home with you."
"Well, we just decided when we were walking up the driveway, can I stay the night since we have school off tomorrow?"
"Why of course, come, make yourself comfortable."
You let go of Kris' arm now that you were under the watchful eye of Toriel. You two made your way towards Kris' bedroom, you knew Kris would want to take their soul out again but then it hit you. You forgot the wagon in the cemetery. Before 'Kris' was able to sit down on their bed, you grabbed their arm.
"Come on, turns out you just unlocked one more quest to do."
You knew Toriel would be opposed to you two sneaking off into the darkness after just getting here. Your solution was to wait until she came up with pie and tell her then.
"Kris? I brought pie if you'd like some."
"Thanks, Mrs. Toriel, also, not to be rude but can you keep out of Kris' room for a bit? We're uh... just? Committing crimes? Goin' to jail...?"
"Ohhh. I think I get it, I'll leave you two alone. You two have fun now."
"That's on you to deal with. She got the wronggg picture."
You then climbed out of Kris' window onto their roof, after a bit of a struggle you got 'Kris' out onto the roof as well. The process of getting down was surprisingly easy, you just dropped from the roof to the ground and tried to avoid breaking anything. You two quickly moved around the house avoiding the light of the windows.
"Why are we leaving?"
"I forgot something in the graveyard, I don't think you'll like it that much."
"The cage? Why wouldn't I like that?"
"You can drop the act if you want, pretending to be them isn't gonna stop me."
'Kris' pondered your words as you walked down the street towards the small cemetery. 'Kris' had started to pull against you, it probably wasn't the smartest idea to tell them what was about to happen. You dragged them up to the wagon with great effort, usually you were not insignificantly stronger than Kris, but it seems that 'Kris' added to their strength. You pushed them up to the wagon and waited for the usual routine, Kris would take control of their arm and rip their soul out, then they would hand it to you to put in the cage. However, Kris never came.
"Kris? You're still there right?"
Silence. It seems Kris can't get enough control over their arm. Meaning you had to try something yourself. Carefully you walked up to the cornered 'Kris' and lifted your arm.
"Kris, I know you can hear me, I'm about to do the... uh... thing you do. I hope it's not too painful for you."
You lunged at them, slowly but forcefully ripping into their chest, you were able to hear both of their cries in pain simultaneously. When you finished placing the soul in its cage, you walked back over to Kris, who was still collecting their thoughts.
"Sorry about that, I didn't want to fight with them all the way back to your mom's house."
"I'm glad you did, whenever you show up they get all scared. I guess you're like some sort of boss battle... heh."
You froze for a second, Kris just actually made a joke about their situation? Up until this point anything like that was unheard of, I guess things might be all right after all.
"That's the spirit, now we just need to figure out how to get this whole wagon back in through your window."
No one knows about the intruder Kris deals with other than you, but if someone did they would easily be able to identify which one is in control if you're around. When you walk with fake 'Kris' you drag them by the wrist almost as if you're escorting a prisoner, but when you walk with Kris, you hold their hand, as if to non verbally tell them 'I know this all sucks, but I know your gonna be ok. I promise.'
-----
I hope this was what you had in mind, I'm not sure if I made it long enough but I hope you enjoyed.

Yooo! You seem to get a lot of requests for Kris x reader stuff so if you do other characters could I request headcannons for Ralsei x (male)reader where the reader is a bit crazy (think chara trying to kill people and stuff) and Ralsei always uses pacify to stop him but still defends him when the rest of the fun gang asks Ralsei why he hangs out with the reader because they're basically attempted murderer and Ralsei is like "Yeah well I think hes nice" happy new years btw
Headcannons for Ralsei with an obviously murderous boyfriend who Ralsei keeps in check.
-----
• To be honest, you're indescribably lucky that Ralsei puts up with you.
• Without him defending your actions the rest of the fun gang would have ripped you to shreds (or at least tried to) long ago.
• Ralsei is probably one of the only people who you haven't tried to stab
• The same cannot be said for the rest of fun gang, if it weren't for Ralsei and occasionally Noelle casting pacify on you there's a decent chance you would have done some serious damage to Susie by now.
• Speaking of Susie, you two are at each others throats. Sure she's a bit nicer to her friends now but she is still definitely on board with the idea of biting your face off.
• If it weren't for your dodging skills which were comparable to the incredibly agile Kris you would have received an axe right between your eyes ages ago.
• Not that it wouldn't be well deserved, you almost definitely tried to stab her first.
• Safe to say Ralsei sits extra close to you when he invites you to come along with him to hang out with the fun gang
• When you two are alone though, I would assume you would be much more normal. Probably not asking how his day was normal but a lot less crazed look in the eyes normal.
• If you still feel human emotion, a sentence that you should never have to worry about being said about you but I digress, you would probably ask him why he stays with you when everyone else seems to hate you.
• He'll probably respond with something about how they just don't realize that even though your actions reflect those of a genocidal maniac, your a bit of a softy when your left alone
• When he tried to win the fun gang over on your behalf, his argument was similar.
• He tried to give examples of you being nice but all he could come up with is that you make him happy.
• Speaking of which, why do you make him happy?
• Well, it's those times when the rest of the fun gang is in the light world and it's just you in the castle, sometimes when he's busy he'll catch you lying in the internal garden either sleeping or just relaxing.
• It really fuels his hope that maybe you are just misunderstood, because lately he's had a hard time believing it himself.
• Comfort is a strange topic when it comes to you two. Surprisingly when it comes to who is comforting who it's usually you comforting Ralsei.
• That's mostly caused by you not needing comfort all that often, being as nonchalant about horrible things as your are makes it a lot easier to go with the flow.
• One of the only times he's comforted you was when Berdly called you a monster, which Berdly quickly explained meant not as in the type of individual but as in a terrible terrible person.
• That one bothered you for some reason, maybe because it was the first person other than Susie who had called you evil, or maybe because he said it so casually like it was just a commonly accepted fact.
• Either way Ralsei was happy to comfort you, it's all confectionaries and quality time with this guy. That's just how Ralsei comforts you.
• On the other hand, when you comfort him your either cracking dumb jokes or if someone hurt his feelings offering to kill them, which he always says no to of course but then you try anyways.
• It's less of an offer to kill someone and more of a warning.
• If someone were to ask Kris about you (assuming the player isn't part of the equation because then its murderous maniac vs sometimes genocidal time deity) they would probably just give a thumbs up.
• Kris doesn't hate you, their part of the short list of people you haven't tried to stab because in your words: "Their hair is kinda funny looking" Which I guess is reason enough to befriend them and not try and kill them.
• Kris would consider you somewhat friendly, one of the few people who would even think about calling you that.
• You two have talked about pie before because if you have any attachment to the color green, murderous intent, or are a ghost that commits genocide, you're a big fan of pie.
• They brought you some of Toriel's pie and now whenever Ralsei asks if you want him to bake you anything it's always the exact same thing.
• Ralsei really likes going on walks with you, you tend to have quite a bit of energy, for better or for worse, which means he gets to follow you around as you impulsively turn you head towards any bit of noise or movement.
• Ralsei does his best to keep you happy, and he helps greatly just by being there.
• As much of a problem as you can be, you still hope that one day you can befriend the whole fun gang, and not like how sans befriended Kris' mother, but in a way where they actually don't think your a menace.
• It's probably going to be pretty hard for you, but at least you always have Ralsei to help you along the way.

Hope you enjoyed.

HELLO, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR SO UH I HOPE YOUR ASKS ARENT FILLED SO. can i ask a kris x reader, where reader and kris are in a relationship but they also know kris gets controlled by the player or knows the 4th wall and asks them if their feelings are really true and not forced by the players actions you can take this anywhere you want like angst or fluff in the end, HAVE FUN :D
Happy New Year, for future reference I use gender neutral pronouns for the reader unless it is specified otherwise. I hope you enjoy.
-----
You and Kris spent a lot of time just sitting on their bed. It had quickly become one of your favorite places because it's one of the few places you felt like you can talk openly. Kris is an excellent listener and had been long before you two had started dating. It was one of the main reasons you liked them so much. Even when you weren't telling Kris something important or rambling about nothing in particular you still loved being with Kris, shut off from the rest of town, just sitting in silence.
You always worried that Kris didn't feel comfortable enough around you to tell you when things bothered them, this stemmed from them never telling you what was on their mind when you two had these mini two way therapy sessions. You worried about this because of Kris' current unfortunate situation.
You and Kris first started talking when you both met outside late at night, you were heading to the supermarket which was somehow open 24/7 even though the owner was only there about an hour a day. You ran into Kris stumbling down the sidewalk at midnight, their shirts bloodstains visible from the streetlamps yellow glow. You stopped walking when you saw them, you were startled to see another person out this late, especially the only other human in town.
"Oh, Hey Kris." You and Kris were what you would probably call 'acquaintances'. You were in the same class but had only talked twice, both of which were set up by yours or their parents because they thought it would be good if you both had some interaction with another human.
Kris didn't respond right away, they just staggered closer to you, the gleam of the now visible knife in their hands clattering to the ground as the collapsed onto you for support. You thought they had been stabbed or something, their breathing was fast and raggedy but they felt ice cold. "Damn Kris what happened to you?"
You had sat Kris down on the sidewalk before sitting down next to them, you listened as they explained all about how some being from a higher plain of existence was controlling them and how you need to help them.
"So you expect me to believe that you just ripped God out of your chest and came running down the street to find me because I'm the only other human in town?" You mimicked. Even though you were being sarcastic with Kris you were worried, they did have blood all over their chest and seemed to completely serious in what they were saying.
"Alright fine, I'm gonna help you get home and we can talk tomorrow." That was the start of about a week of you researching human souls and finding if this sort of thing had ever happened before. During that time you and Kris had gotten very close. Kris relied on you for most things because of their constant internal struggle with the entity you came to learn Kris called 'The Player'.
Eventually you came to the conclusion that there was nothing you could do. You apologized to Kris and expected them to stop talking to you after that, but when Kris called you at midnight like usual to come over you realized that this time it seemed that Kris just wanted to talk to you.
After two more weeks of talking, Kris asked you if you wanted to date. That was when you had your first concerns that maybe it wasn't Kris who had been asking you to come hang out after you two had failed to get rid of 'The Player', but you deemed those thoughts irrational and told Kris you did want to. Those thoughts didn't stay hidden forever though, eventually it got to the point where just hanging out with Kris made you worry that they actually hated spending time with you and that it was all 'The Player' getting back at you two for trying to get rid of them. So one afternoon when you and Kris were just lying on their bed, you decided that you couldn't handle this insecurity anymore and it was time to ask them about it.
"Kris? Can I ask you something?" You faltered. Kris didn't respond but they sat up and met your gaze. You hugged your legs to your chest, even now that it was time to tell them your concerns it was still agonizingly hard.
"Kris. Is it you who keeps asking me to come over, and who keeps telling me you love me? Or is it... them?" You gestured to the empty birdcage at the end of Kris' bed, Kris doesn't rip their soul out often anymore, but that was the easiest way of referring to 'The Player' without actually mentioning them.
Kris sighed and leaned up against you. "For the first few days... It wasn't me who asked you to come over." Your heart instantly sank into the pit of your stomach. "I think they were trying to get back at you for helping me, but I started being the one to ask you to come over, whenever your here they shut up... you help me feel like I'm normal for a while. I probably should have told you that sooner." They imparted, their voice slow and steady.
The sheer amount of relief you felt after Kris finished speaking was innumerable. You put your head on their shoulder, that whole exchange was so mentally draining that you felt like going to sleep right there. You leaned back onto Kris' bed, them mimicking your motion. You and Kris would find a way to get rid of 'The Player'.
But that could wait until tomorrow.

I hope you enjoyed, feel free to request again.

Hii^-^ I'm the same anon who requested the Kris x player (can you call me ❤️ anon?) I liked your ending but I also want to request a sort of continuation where the player does switch bodies into their vessel but now Kris doesn't have a soul so to keep both bodies alive they have to always be holding hands or being in contact to share the soul? I would prefer if this was just headcannons instead of a whole one-shot but it's up to you, thanks in advance! ❤️ Anon.
Headcannons for Kris and the player's vessel being forced to hold hands to keep their bodies alive.
Like last time the Player isn't actually someone behind a computer screen they are part of the universe, or at least that's how I write them. I also made the Players pronouns be 'You' because you did play deltarune didn't you?
-----
• Kris is probably more opposed to it than the Player.
• It's not that they hate you, for this whole situation to happen the Player has had to be really nice to Kris.
• The reason they find it annoying is because they just got their freedom back and now they have to live their life with one hand?
• They also dislike the lack of privacy, Kris came up with a system where the Player's vessel would hold their hand through the crack in the doorway of the bathroom when they needed to use it and vice versa.
• Kris didn't expect to be the one helping you move around. When you got your own body, the change in height made it a whole lot harder to walk.
• Kris likes to give you hugs when you trip, probably as a way of making you feel better, or maybe as a way of keeping you still so you won't fall again right after.
• Either way, it isn't a rare sight to see the Player enveloped in a Kris hug if you walk past them in town.
• Did I mention that your height changed, well, it made you taller. Kris hated that. It was only by about an inch, but having look slightly up to meet your gaze made Kris feel annoyed because it makes them feel even shorter than they already are.
• Long gone are the days of you easily dodging attacks, now that you trip every so often and you always have to be holding Kris' hand it makes expertly weaving through the attacks of whatever secret horrorshow decided to try and kill the fun gang this day a whole lot harder.
• Sleeping is a whole new endeavor too. Kris originally made the Player sleep on the floor while Kris dangled their arm off the bed so that you could hold hands.
• That lasted about two days before you realized that as long as you two were touching you could let go of each others hands.
• This lead to Kris letting you sleep in their bed. It usually started back to back but when you two woke up you were always sprawled out and basically cuddling.
• I guess the unconscious mind doesn't care who it's snuggling as long as it's getting warmer.
• Eventually Kris just asked if you wanted to cuddle because it seemed like it was inevitable anyways and to be honest, it was pretty comfy.
•Showers where surprisingly not awkward, you just stood outside the shower curtain with just your hand sticking through
• Out of all the reactions you got after people found out who you were... Toriel took it the best.
• Toriel basically took you in as her second human(-ish) child.
• She treated you as her own and only treated you otherwise when she was messing with Kris by saying you two were 'practically dating'
• I mean she isn't wrong. It would be hard for either of you to date anyone else, so if you aren't at that point, you probably will down the line.
• Out of all the reactions you got after people found out who you were... Sans took it the worst.
• I think you know why. He doesn't want to have to deal with another time controlling psychopath, but luckily for him. The no pupils trick was enough to give you ptsd from the last time you two fought. You mostly hide behind Kris when you go into his store now.
• Susie didn't really care.
• "Heh. That's just twice the quiet nerds who I have to follow around" Her words exactly.
• Ralsei was pretty uncomfortable around you, he had talked to Kris about you behind your back before you and Kris were on good terms, and he hadn't realized you two had become friends.
• This meant he though that you were still controlling Kris after that, but it was all good after that was cleared up.
• Things went surpassingly smooth for you, other than with Berdly who made fun of you and Kris for always holding hands even after you explained that it's to keep you both alive.
• One time you asked Kris if they would still hold your hand if they weren't forced. Surprisingly, Kris didn't say no. I mean they didn't say yes either, but they did smile so you were pretty confident that they would.
• You can only remember one time where you and Kris fought, what happened didn't really matter, what did matter was that Kris let go of your hand.
• I don't need to go into detail about what happened, but you didn't talk to Kris for a few days after that.
• That only happened once though, and Kris and you both swore to never let it happen again.
-----
I hope you enjoyed, I've never written headcannons before so I hope you like them.

Helloo^_^ Can I request Kris x Reader where the reader is actually the player (make them able to communicate if thats easier to write) and while they were traveling through dark worlds Kris develops feelings for the player because they have been trying so hard to keep Kris safe, so when they eventually find the players original vessel Kris tried to get them to stay with them instead of leaving. I would prefer is the player decides to stay but it's up to you. Thanks -Anon~
I decided to write the 'player' as a person who is actually in the universe and not someone who is playing deltarune like a videogame on a computer, I hope that's what you had in mind, enjoy.
-----
When you first came into existence, you would have never expected to actually become friends with Kris. They hated you for existing and you resented them for trying to kill you.
The first two days were rough, the struggle for control was never ending. Kris decided to show you how in control they were by ripping you from their chest. It was excruciating for both of you. For Kris, it was a burning sensation followed by a profound emptiness.
But for you. It was a thousand burning knives ripping through your entire being, a soul without a vessel is pure torture. You knew after the third time Kris ripped you out that something had to change, at the time you never considered talking to them so your actions would have to be louder than your words.
It was slow going, but you noticed their attitude change. You focused on dodging, you felt for their emotions when you made choices for them, you wanted them to know you cared about their life and didn't just exist to ruin it. On the fourth night, Kris made first contact.
In the dead of night, Kris reached for their chest, but unlike what you expected they didn't rip you out, they just gently put their hand to their heart. No words were spoken out loud, but you somehow knew what they were thinking. 'Why are you being nice to me?'
"Because I don't want you to hate me." You answered without thinking. Is that really what you wanted? The plan was to get them to stop ripping you out, not make them like you. 'Why won't you just leave?' You could feel Kris' fear, their lack of understanding of how, but more importantly why this was happening to them.
"I never planned on possessing you, I made a body for myself but it got... err... erased? I think it might still be out there though, if you just help me find it I'll never bother you again." You fully planned on leaving, you wanted to explore the world not force a highschooler to fight darkners all day. 'Fine, but when you do leave, promise me you'll never come back? Please?'
…
You didn't answer Kris, you had no clue if you could actually leave at all, and you didn't want to give them false hope.
That was three days ago now, and in that time you and Kris talked more and more often, you tried to help them with everything. You dodged for them, you apologized when you got hit, you asked them what they wanted to say, how they wanted to act. You even went as far as acting as emotional support when Kris freaked out, which happened more than you might expect from the stone faced lightner. Kris started to really rely on you, you calmed them down, you fought for them, you made friends easily, it was perfect. Kris never was one to deny the truth, so if faced with the question if they had a slight crush on their closest companion who just happened to be a time bending demigod, they wouldn't deny it. Which made their current situation ten times worse.
"Kris! I told you we'd find it here!" You grinned. Where was here exactly? It was dark, the walls seemed to stretch for miles, the slight droning noise made this place eerie. Nonetheless, there it was, your vessel stood in front of you motionless. Your vessel was gray and lifeless, it looked like a corpse. "Well... I guess this is it right? I... uh... had fun? I'll let you live your life now Kris, maybe we'll meet again someday who knows." You sighed. Maybe you had been to hasty in your decision to leave, but this was it.
'Don't leave, I think your vessel is dead, you should stay with me.' Kris replied bluntly, you couldn't feel any emotion from that thought on the surface, but you could feel their heart racing. "Nah, It just looks like that because it's missing me" You observed. Panic filled Kris, their heart was beating so fast if you didn't know better you would think they were going through cardiac arrest. 'No, you're wrong, we got here too late let's just go back with the others.' You could feel emotion radiating from Kris at this point, they were stressed, for some reason you felt the anticipation of... loss? You felt Kris trying to force their body to move without you, they were trying to walk away. You remained firmly planted in your spot "Kris what's wrong? This your chance to be free again right? What are you doing?" You worried.
'You already let me be free, I don't think you should leave, please just stay with me?' Kris was shaking, they couldn't steady their nerves, what were they without you? Everyone liked you, Kris really liked you, you made them happier, why did you want to leave so bad?
"Kris... you're shaking are you okay? Tell me what's going on this hasn't happened before." You were more confused than Kris was, why was Kris trying to make you stay? They had told you to never come back only three days ago, yeah a lot had changed since then but what were they playing at?
Kris' panic attack didn't seem to be improving, they clenched their chest instead of just touching it now, they had to tell you something important. 'I want you to stay with me forever. I want to keep being a team. I want to keep talking to you, I don't want you to leave anymore.' Kris' breathing was quick and heavy, the few seconds that it took you to process what they said were agony for them.
"Well why didn't you tell me that sooner?" You faltered. You couldn't stop their shaking, but you had to try. You used what little physical power your soul had on it's own to warm it up. Kris flinched, then started to calm down, a soothing warm sensation taking over their body. "If you wanted me to stay you could have just told me. Not only are you the only person who knows I exist, but I'd love to keep being a team if you want too!" You asserted. It was true that the only reason you wanted to leave was to let Kris live their own life, yeah exploring the world would be fun, but it would be more fun if you could do it together.
Kris had stopped shaking at this point, they were no longed shaking in fear but you could still feel their unease. 'Can I tell you one for thing?' Kris seemed much more calm now.
"Sure" You answered. Kris paused for a few short moments, gathering courage.
'I think I like you. Like, like like you.'
Now it was your turn to be shocked, it took you longer than Kris had hoped it would for you to respond, they hoped they hadn't just weirded you out.
You turned Kris' body around and started walking away from your empty vessel, I guess it would just have to remain that way because
"Yeah.. I think I like like you too, Kris"
-----
I don't know if I did a good job with Kris' dialogue, I tried to write it to be their thoughts not them actually talking, I hope you enjoyed, feel free to request again.

Hello! I saw your blog and wanted to ask if you could write Kris x Reader (if you write that) where Kris lashes out and insults them their long time friend, Reader, who gets really upset and Kris has to find a way to make it up to them? GN pronouns if possible, Thank you^^
I couldn't tell if this was meant to be romantic or platonic so I chose latter, I don't write often so I hope you enjoy. -----
"Kris, what the hell is wrong with you!?"
It would be an understatement to say that Kris was a quiet person, even after knowing them for 4 years they remain a mystery to you.
What's more of a mystery is why they decided that today was the day to get back at you for... something? Kris never explained why they were mad at you, not just in this instance but every time they were actually angry with you they left you negligent. They just avoided you for a day or two and then acted like nothing was wrong.
That's what made this so special, Kris, who before this had barely talked to anyone had just yelled at you. They didn't hold back either, they targeted every insecurity you had told them in confidence. Their words were laced with venom that caused your chest to feel heavy.
You valued Kris' opinion of you highly, they were your best friend someone who you though you could trust. Unfortunately for Kris, the years of pulling pranks with them and getting in trouble taught you to stand up for yourself. So they only had themselves to blame when instead of breaking down and crying, you stood up and glared at them with and equal amount of animosity as their words held. "I'm done with you, go bother someone else." You hissed as you turned your back on them and stomped off.
Kris didn't attempt the follow you. They had no experience with something like this so they though it would work itself out. They expected to walk into school tomorrow and see you calling them over to your desk to go on another tirade about your many hobbies.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.
As much as you acted tough and tried to forget about it, Kris' words really bothered you. Most of it was superficial stuff that you didn't care about, but Kris had made it a point to reiterate that they found you loud and annoying throughout their rant. It got you thinking, "Have they always though of me like that?" You knew they had other friends but they still decided to spend most of their time with you so their words didn't make any sense. Of course, their words were only fueled by anger and were not based in fact.
You realized that in your angry stomping, you had walked all the way back to your home. You lived in the apartment complex near were those two skeleton brothers lived. Once you got inside you decided to cut your day short. You flopped into bed without changing out of your typical outfit, you were too sullen to care.
Kris had walked home too, similarly to you they were also thinking about what they had said. They had started to regret it, why they were mad wasn't terribly important to them anymore. It dawned on them how mean they had been to you. They were never good at apologies, being so quiet meant that it was hard for them to convey their emotion. This meant the main way they apologized was through gifts, when they where little they used to give you smooth rocks if they had hurt your feelings. This time, they wanted to be more sincere though, they had to give you something that they knew you would know they valued highly, because if they where willing to give you said thing, it would prove to you that they really did feel bad.
The item in question, turned out to be the last slice of Cinnamon Butterscotch Pie. Kris carefully put the piece into a container and hid it at the back of the fridge for them to reclaim in the morning.
That morning came fast for you, your anger had died down into betrayal and sadness. You didn't want anything to do with Kris. You had gotten up early to avoid meeting them on the way to school like usual, it meant spending the day sleepier than normal but that was a small sacrifice to make.
You took your seat and put your head on the desk using your arms as a pillow. Unfortunately at the beginning of the year you and Kris had chosen to sit next to each other so you could pass notes during class. Now though, this just meant you had no way of avoiding them. Despite your many attempts to avoid Kris, deep down you hoped they would catch you and apologize.
You two did everything together and being without your partner in crime, or in this case pranks, was upsetting for a whole different set of reasons. Of course you weren't gonna confront them first, you had to much pride left even after the massive dent Kris had put in it to ask them to apologize. What are you? Desperate?
During your internal dialogue you failed to notice Kris sitting down next to you.
Kris wasn't sure if poking you to get your attention was a good idea so they just stared at you in hopes of that working. "What? Are you tryna read their mind or somethin'?" Conveniently, staring at you had drawn themself the attention of Susie, who did a wonderful job in getting your attention.
Your head snapped up and you looked at Kris with a glare before putting your head back on your arms. Kris however was not deterred so they got up and waved their hand in front of your face. "What do you want? Planning on telling me to go die in a fire a few more times?" You scoffed.
Kris wasn't sure if they had actually said that to you, but it showed them how mad you were. They really hoped their pie trick would work. So they went back to their desk, and grabbed a metal box from their bag. Kris poked your cheek to get your attention. "God! Will you just leave me alone for a one seco-" Before you could finish the though, Kris had put a piece of their favorite pie onto your desk. Normally this would be a very kind gesture, but you knew how much Kris adored Toriel's baking, to be honest you wouldn't put it past them to sacrifice you for some butterscotch cinnamon pie.
Apparently you were wrong though, you looked at them, your glower fading as they smiled at you. "Oh, you sure you don't want it? It's the though that count's really I know how much you like this stuff" You spouted. They shook their head but didn't sit down.
You raised your eyebrows, you forgot about this part of Kris' apologies, they always made it a point to end it with a hug, something Toriel taught them no doubt.
You stood up and spread your arms. Kris took the opportunity to latch on to you for a few seconds. You patted them on the back "I feel like I should still be mad at you but I guess the power of hugs wins again, I guess I forgive you" You muttered as they let go.
Suddenly it became much easier to breath, probably the weight lifted of your shoulders from being on good terms with Kris again paired with the fact they are no longer crushing you with their apologetic hug.
Kris only realized how early he had gotten to school after the rest of the class started to file in one by one. They hated getting out of bed early but today...
It was worth it.
