Hello everyone! Here's a fast drop of some dinosaur screenshots for everyone. You see, dear followers, this was actually a trap!

I'm here to talk about the upcoming Jurassic World: Evolution 3.

With lots of new options coming to make our ecosystems much more interesting, such as: swimming dinosaurs, babies, and the presumably mechanics that'll improve previous behavioral systems. Our beloved little nature reserves will be that much more dynamic, with families of prehistoric beasts living their own lives, growing up, and become truly part of the world around them. It's one thing to have an adult dinosaur live their life after being created from a machine. But to have it born and raised in it's own little world? That's something to look forward to! Here's to an exciting new game this October!

I had the honor to produce artwork for a new paper that was published yesterday. Vincenzo Gesualdi and colleagues report on a diverse dinosaur track assemblage from the Jurassic of Chile. Some of these theropod tracks indicate animals the size of Giganotosaurus! Paper is open access!

Do you think I wouldn't forfeit all of my worldly possessions to Lucky? You'd be wrong. The Rancher literally upped moved to find a bigger home for their prehistoric child and that is a VALID life choice.

Hellfire fields: The first Official Update

Welcome to the post! Here are the rules for how I handle this.

I’ll update y’all when I feel like it with a collection of photos from one of the ecosystems, each one with a bit of context if needed. 

You guys can name the dinosaurs a dinosaur in the “notable dinosaurs” section. In which I’ll take photos. Just say which dinosaur in the tags or text of a Reblog (their tag sign , such as TRX001) and the suggested name. 

Named dinosaurs will get their own update unless they are dead, which I’ll announce their death if I catch on they got gobbled up (and how they died if applicable).

Now onto this post’s photos.

Environmental context-

Hellfire Fields is certainly here! It's certainly a neat environment. Lots of fields, a mix of animals, and a distinct theme (two populations, one "male" and one "female" design inspired).

This is two in-game days (hour and a half) of gameplay.

Winds of Change: The Gigantoraptor Update

Our first Gigantoraptor.

Environmental context-

Welcome to WoC's introduction to the Gigantoraptor! Tragically, this isn't a giant Velociraptor (as much as it'd be awesome if it was). As some of you sharped eye'd followers may know, the Gigantoraptor has replaced the production of the pervious species in use (of which I was wrong, there was only one production of said dinosaur, so after those specific dinosaurs keel-over, then they'll be out of the picture until they get voted back in). Either way, lots of fun to be had with our newest omnivore in the park.

Either way, WoC is doing good, lots of fun little creature interactions. Especially with our newest addition.

The raptor pack is doing well, I believe they recently switched alphas but I'm not 100% notable on that,

I can never reblog that one post that's like "what fictional food did you desperately want to eat as a child " bc I had this dinosaur book as a kid and in the book there was this illustration of a T. Rex eviscerating a Triceratops and feasting on its remains and it looked like it was having such a good time with the triceratops carcass that I would have traded anything to be that T. Rex. And I can't just add that to a random stranger's post

WorldBox: Second update

Welcome to the Worldbox post! You made it! Take a seat, and enjoy your favorite beverage. I don’t care! Here I’ll be updating you on a Worldbox world I made, explaining the general events, culture, and other details. 

The rules

I either randomly generate a world or custom-make one with the brushes.

I let the little humans, elves, dwarves, and orcs do as they do for about 100 years, and then  I unleash a “crisis” on the world. Sometimes a crisis can bleed into the next one or can affect smaller events in the world. This does become 1000 years after reaching the 1000-year point.

You can reblog this post and write a name for a country, clan, or unit in the tags. I’ll then randomly select a name from the options and assign that name to the thing. Favorited things will get a special update. Any reblog-named thing will be favorited.

General World Updates-

Year 500: The world is split between two major powers.

Year 519: Bad Ter Pet has unified most of the region, rebellions are forming.

Year 601: three new kingdoms run the show and dominate the map. Between rebellions and wars they have risen, now it is time to give them their first crisis.

Year 620: The year 620 we see Red Ga Gaz become the leading power on the continent. We'll see how long they last.

Year 630: I swear! they just keep falling...

Year 660: We got a nice horde of dudes taking over the continent again.

Year 666: Most populous village on the map.

Year 747: After several decades the Topoz Horde has gone into decline, replaced by several major factions and the Urgokh currently have replaced the old empire before them.

Year 751: Top 5 most populated villages.

Year 849: Introducing a small bit of corruption on a northern island and a small secluded area behind a mountain range.

Year 858: Green Okh Duz is dominating the map.

Year 886: So... Green boys are kicking ass.

Year 900: Wonder what horrible thing I'll do here.

Year 950: Green Okh Duz is winning! They have reunified much of the land they lost of a few decades of interspersed conflict. We'll see how this pans out for them in the final 50 years leading to year 1,000.

990: Final decade before year 1,000 is here. Currently Green Okh Duz is fighting an upstart empire. Will they make it to the end?

Year 1000: I don't know what else to say... all empires fall in the end, at least this one is keeping the fight going for a long time. Two new factions will probably take hold this century. I don't know what to do for the crisis, but remember the one after this will be in another 1000 years.

Year 500: Zombies on island

Year 508: Zombies gone from island

Year 601: 10 Necromancers

Year 602: The Necromancers died

Year 700: 20 Dragons on each corner

Year 711: Last dragon died

Year 808: 15 Necromancers and 20 dragons

Year 809: Necromancers died

811: Dragons died

Year 900: Cold one towers on the northern island. Each time the Cold Enes expand enough for a tower to be settled, they'll expand. they'll heal damaged towers every 50 years.

927: Cold Ones defeated

Hellfire fields Test!

Welp, Hellfire isn't out just yet, but I did run an experiment to see what dinosaurs looked good in dusty colors and worked for the male/female variants and I have some ideas.

This is kind of a sneak-peak into the process of designing these parks. I want to make something worth sharing with the larger online world, and while I loved the map I made, I wasn't proud of the pretty generic roster of animals I went with.

Consider this a heads-up from my side of things, the plans are set, species selected, and I have the skins I like set up.
