Of the three Dark Souls protagonists, do any of them have a Ryu number?

The Chosen Undead has a Ryu Number of 3/5/does not have a Ryu Number.

The Bearer of the Curse has a Standard Ryu Number of 6/4/does not have a Standard Ryu Number and a Limited Ryu Number of 3.

The Ashen One has a Ryu Number of 5/3/does not have a Ryu Number.

(CORRECTION: As many people have pointed out, there are characters that link Dark Souls 2 to 3 and can give the Bearer of the Curse a Standard Ryu Number.)

(UPDATE: With the addition of a Ryu skin to Minecraft, the routes that go through Sackboy are all shortened by 1. The same as not true of Claptrap, since Skin Pack 4 is not yet available for Bedrock Edition.)

Buckle in, these get complicated.

First, the Dark Souls protagonist: the Twitter account gives Solaire of Astora a 5 (since updated to 4) by treating the Crestfallen Player in the Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC for Borderlands 2 as the same as the Chosen Undead, which is a little screwy, since while the character and related quest is undeniably a complete sendup to Dark Souls, being called the "Crestfallen Player" muddies the waters, except the presence of another character called -=n00bkiller=- suggests that the Crestfallen Player in question is actually a username and not the in-universe name of the character, which could still be the Chosen Undead, so...?

If you don't count that but are willing to assert that Patch the Good Luck from Armored Core: For Answer and Trusty Patches from Dark Souls are the same character, which requires a somewhat loose interpretation of identity, then you can connect them to 3D Dot Game Heroes. Otherwise, the Chosen Undead does not have a Ryu Number.

(The White Glint in 3D Dot Game Heroes is explicitly described as being piloted by an unknown LYNX, a.k.a. the protagonist of Armored Core 4, so it’s a solid link.)

Then there's the matter of whether or not the character in these loading screens are Ryu. It's a dead ringer for Ryu in voxel form, but the same model minus the headband appears in another loading screen, and the game simply uses dissimilar stand-ins for other characters and also it's a loading screen, so...?

If those aren't Ryu, then through Sackboy the Dark Souls protagonist has a Ryu Number of 5.

Second, the Dark Souls 2 protagonist: Outcast Odyssey, a discontinued mobile TCG published by Namco Bandai, had crossovers with Soul Calibur and Dark Souls 2, which gives them a Limited Ryu Number of at most 3. (I cannot find any documentation on what DS2 characters actually made it in. It's entirely possible that the protagonist is definitely represented in some way, but I wouldn't know.)

Third, the Dark Souls 3 protagonist: you know everything I typed up for the DS1 protagonist? Same thing, but replace Trusty Patches with Unbreakable Patches. Also, in regards to the Soul of Cinder, while it definitely is at least partially some previous player characters, it isn’t solely the previous player characters, and therefore I’m not counting it as those player characters.

(If there's any character overlap between 2 and 1/3, then this gives the DS2 protagonist a Standard Ryu Number 2 greater than the other protags, but I can't find an unambiguous one.)
