Don't lie to me, Mister Trump. EVERYONE sees through that lame, "I don't know him" excuse. The talking points match. Elon Musk, that also goes for you. Nazi friendly is as dirty as total nazi. You own it.

RTL-SDR to Harvest Aero Radio Sigs
An A330 on short final, just about to flare. You can intercept its voice and data radio signals with a properly set up RTL-SDR! Voice on the VHF-Airband is an easy catch. So is ACARS data, whether in the old signal format or the new VDL Mode 2. Know what is going on. See the book "Airband Radio on the RTL-SDR" for tips, tricks, do's and dont's for using software defined radio to harvest aero signals en masse.

She Said "Peach Tree Dish"
I was having fun reading the more recent Republican gaffes, and there is definitely a trend that the zealots with the least judgement, the least literate, and most aggrieved are the ones saying the most dumbassed things. Hence, Marjorie Taylor Greene saying "peach tree dish" instead of "petri dish." And I still cannot believe the dumpster fire of Madison Cawthorn.

A Boeing 777 in KLM colors, having a rest after arriving in Xiamen from Amsterdam. One of a big batch of pictures, taken over years flying airliners, featured in the picture book, "Skies of the Garden." So many sorts of scenery for your coffee table: beautiful, wild, frightening, and serene.

Should you upgrade your computer OS to Windows 11? Consider a few things first. You may do well to upgrade and then use a debloat script to make the system super clean, fast, and more secure. On the other hand, Windows 10 is stable and works just fine after a good debloating and double-checking the security apps.
The article gives links to some really good resources for adjusting performance and getting rid of apps you don't really need on your PC.

VPNs don't protect you from disheartening content. VPNs allow you access to the outside world where there indeed is something higher than service to Big Brother.
Things you find on the shithole censored internet instead of the New York Times or BBC World Service.
A woman, too much in a hurry to use a proper crossing, is struck by a bus rushing to be first at a red light. NO ONE bothers to help the severely injured woman. Then the light turns green and a car rolls over her as though she’s worthless roadkill.
After 5000 years of civilization, note the moment that it peaked. Buy popcorn and watch the ride down.

These crap dictatorships all do the same thing, right out of the George Orwell 1984 handbook: control the media at all costs.

MOFO Linux 5.1
MOFO Linux 5.1, bringing bug fixes and software updates, is uploading. For an unknown reason, connectivity to SourceForge is extraordinarily bad, so getting the iso file onto their servers may not be completed until January 2nd, 2017.
For a faster download, use the bit torrent link at Linuxtracker: http://linuxtracker.org/index.php?page=torrent-details&id=fe8f99c13b1139c1987be72fa1745d61638479a6

Tor Browser is getting new armour, and none too soon!
Update Your Tor Browser
Tor Browser has received an important pair of updates. One closes a vulnerability which is believed to have been used to deanonymize users. If the American FBI can do it, expect similar capabilities from intelligence services in China, Iran, Russia, and other countries. The other update sets up the browser in a sandbox, isolating it from the host system. These advances are significant enough to warrant a fresh build of MOFO Linux. Expect version 5.1 to upload shortly. In the mean time, update your Tor Browser before accessing or posting sensitive content.

Yes.

A screencap of cjdns running in Linux Mint 17.3. Another excellent factor of robustness is that a few battery powered wireless mesh nodes can keep an area connected even if the local AC grid and internet fail.
Then the mesh functions as a local net until a peer is found that can serve as a gateway to the internet. In essence, you can still send messages, files, stream video, etc., to others in the local mesh.

Installing Cjdns Mesh Networking (Linux & Windows)
A new how-to is posted, showing how to install cjdns mesh networking in Windows and Linux. It uses the Hyperboria network for an example, but it works for any mesh based on cjdns: https://www.ab9il.net/crypto/cjdns1.html It took 10 minutes from start to finish! Easy. This technology is all about decentralising the internet - putting it in the hands of the users, increasing security, and making it impossible to hack or tamper with the traffic.
