Honestly? My main piece of advice for writing well-rounded characters is to make them a little bit lame. No real living person is 100% cool and suave 100% of the time. Everyone's a little awkward sometimes, or gets too excited about something goofy, or has a silly fear, or laughs about stupid things. Being a bit of a loser is an incurable part of the human condition. Utilize that in your writing.

I am extremely happy despite the harsh conditions I am going through. I mean, all of Palestine is happy because of the Freedom Flotilla that never stops trying. They set sail!! After weather delays, the boats are back on track in their mission to break the blockade and are continuing their journey to Gaza.

Italian dockworkers are threatening to ban goods from Israel if the Gaza flotilla is blocked or stopped. One dockworker says, "If we lose contact with our boats... even for just 20 minutes, we will shut down all of Europe."
