how can someone be so caring and understanding and intimate with another person and stop talking to them out of the blue? i keep racking my head trying to understand what i did wrong but nothing makes sense

Idk sometimes it’s not about what you did or didn’t do, sometimes people simply want to function within their own space and that seems perfectly fine to me. That kind of “space” often has no schedule or timeline and it doesn’t always “make sense” either. But yeah. I can understand where you’re coming from with the “out of the blue” part and to me…the best thing is to silently respect the pauses, give the other person time and be mindful. Of your own reactions, too, not just toward the behavior of another person. Often we have very little idea as to what others truly might be going through. And some people require complete privacy and solitude so as to deal with their issues.
