I wanted to make a strictly art blog. Im gonna draw whatever I feel like doing, unless one of you have an idea maybe? Call me Nick, and of you want to reach out to me for something more serious than an ask, then you can email me at [email protected]
I called it Dorm. That may change since I would want to follow them into adulthood, but I wanted to help make a story about college students, for college students!
I have this easel board at my house and one day, me and my family were playing pictionary. It died down after awhile, so I just started drawing my characters. I liked it so much, that I took a picture!
We've got some Donnie's, Tori's, Mako's, and a few Moira's. There are also some genderbent versions of them that I was trying out. I'll make sure to get better drawings of them out, like full body, that way you can get to know them. (:
Also my bad self inset character, but let's not talk about them.
I've been watching the Dana Terrece (and Alex Hirsch) Charity Streams, and have been trying to draw along with them. Specifically, with the same prompts and around the same time. The first ones, I drew on my computer, but the process started to change. I've started to give myself more time, which will show in later ones. I hope. I also started drawing on a tablet, since its easier to keep stable. You don't need to see how hard I was pressing the mousepad through the pen anymore.
And without further ado, part 3 of the Dana Terrece Charity Stream series (DTCS series for short) - "Dipper and Morty Meeting"
The Original:
What I Did:
Woah, its bigger than the computer ones.
It's . . . okay. I like the idea for the portal, but looking at it now, Morty should have been cut off more. My Dipper looks a bit wonky, and Morty doesn't look like himself. But! My drawings will get better. I've started to improve on the pines family.
One of my first digital animations, besides bouncing balls. There might have been other ones, but I cant remember. If I did though, I didn't save them. May the rest in pieces. o7
It was supposed to be them turning around to see that a vase broke, but I never finished it to see their reaction. I also couldn't tell what speed to have it in. He feels to fast, but the lines feel a tad too slow.

So, this marks part 2 in the Dana Terrece Charity Stream series (DTCS series for short) - "Stan and Ford Doing the Titanic Pose"
The original:
My not-so-wonderful-take on it:
There will not be a tablet-drawn version of this drawing

So! This marks part 1 in the Dana Terrece Charity Stream series (DTCS series for short) - The Ultimate OTP: Fiddleford/Shapshifter
The original:
And, my first piece:
Obviously, I realized I could draw better, or color better, if I drew through a tablet. I like my McGucket, but the Shapshifter could have been better. :(
