Hey, you're gonna get wet anyway, so go ahead, dive in the rain. I've always enjoyed swimming in the rain, especially in a good hard pounding rain with wind. Something primal about it. A little thunder in the distance adds to the appeal. Yeah yeah yeah, lightning adds to the danger, too, but I think it's worth the risk.

My next-to-favorite moon is the diver's moon. Which is, basically, every full moon.

But the best is the stealth night diver's moon, which is the new moon, which, other than a Black Moon, never really gets a name or much respect. And that's just fine, because even though you can't see it, it's still there, and still exerts its force.

It's a biscuit with a lot of sweet crap on top. If you're gonna have a biscuit, skip the sweet. Cut it in half and put a fried egg and some bacon in it. Or really let your freak flag fly, and cut the cinnamon roll in half and stick an egg and some bacon in that bad boy. YOLO mofo!

Ten Years of Cinnamon Roll Too Good For This World, Too Pure.

Well, how about that. Ten whole years. A decade. The Tin Anniversary. 

The Tin Anniversary is rather fitting, as it happens, as a tin is just the sort of storage object one might wish to place their cinnamon roll, were it not so good, so pure, so sublime, so very beautiful. This particular roll is too graceful, too evocative of the divine, to be hidden away.

It was on this day, ten years ago, that The Onion published the headline that would stir the hearts and minds with this sugary little friend.

My Dr Who history is pretty much confined to the late Tom Baker / transition to Peter Davison timeframe, about two years. Awesome to see that Tom Baker is still around, too!
