I'm going to start making my own homebrew. Ill mostly use the standard dnd machanics for it here are some ideas written down for it

Use "luck" from Call of Cthullu to decide whether or not to let my players do some dumb shit

Have a "Reputation" stat that makes intimidation harder/easier depending on the level

For important conversations have the players roll for making an npc believe certain aspects of what they're saying and that'll effect the difficulty rating going forward

I've got a conlang started that I work on for fun so I'll probably put that in
