If Eloise Bridgerton had a nickel for everytime her best friend turned on her and used the Lady Whisteldown persona to drag her family name through the mud, she'd have two nickels but it's weird that it happend twice.

Anythimg bad that happens to Harriet Manners is literally her being bullied or having no media training she can do no wrong.

The only reason better than the movies couldn't be made into a movie, is because a movie can't reason away Liz her obliviousness. The premise would be her asking her next door nieghbour enemy to help get the guy she likes, but every scene you would just see Liz swooning over Wes, completely obliterating the romantic build up in the books. (And in my opinion in the book she immediatly started falling for wes in the beginning too, so even in the book its sort of a problem)

I'm not saying it is impossible, and I would love for it to happen, but would have to be done very well to be as good as the book.

I never understood the concept of bribing someone not to tell something. Because like, you give the money, and leave. Then they have the secret AND the money. And if they tell, literally what's going to happen?

- You told the secret?!

- yes...

- Give me back my money?!!!

- no.

Like it would only work if you're extremely threathening, but still, most of the times the secret puts you in such a nasty position you can't act out your retribution.

all I'm saying is that if Cressida Cowper did marry a man who travelled often, she'd have time to focus on the important things in life. like kissing her girl best friend.

Maybe I'm reaching but do you think Francesca saying "just as you think you're starting to comprehend the melody the song is over", could be a metaphor with her experience in social situations

Am I the only one who things Penelope has a lot in common with Cinderella?

• Cruel mother who only truly pays attention to Penelope's sisters.

• Cruel sisters who do not believe she could find love.

• Penelope is some sort of wallflower who doesn't stand out from the crowd and then suddenly has a makeover, suprising everyone with her beauty, at a BALL nonetheless.

• Gets the guy who most girls are pining for.

• Last but not least, in the preview for the next part of the season, she literally has UNTIL MIDNIGHT to be truthful towards Colin.

Strangely, while watching the final episode of bridgerton (and third), i have not finished the episode yet, but it made me realize something. The encounter between Penelope and Lord Debling, about Penelope admitting she'd rather watch nature from the windowstill and prefers romance books, being accepted with such grace. It was not only acceptable that she was not an extreme fan of nature, she was great, because she was her own person.

And though I do know it sounds a bit cliché, but as of late I have to perform highly for school, this scene calmed me.

It made me realize that;

There is no right way to be

You do not have to be excellent at performing in the system, nor only love facts, but can love love aswell. You are right, because you are you.

The internal monlogue, akward zooms that catalyse the comedic effect, long seasons and being able to carry the sarcastic spirit of the books.

This is an excerpt of a dutch encyclopdia from 1955 (translated so a bit of beauty is lost), that strangely sounded poetic in a so called objective book. And it spoke to me, because I also have an interest in architecture (thank you Annabeth Chase, strange how the world works and can influence you)
