A tiny Once-ler. A Once-ler of an incredibly miniscule size. A Once-ler that is so small that he cannot cut down the Truffula trees he so desires, and all of his axe swings are in vain because of the sheer difference in height between his tiny one-inch self and the tall trees. He spends all day trying to cut down one Truffula tree, but his little arms and axe fitted for a tiny man cannot compensate. The Lorax emerges from a stump and tries to find the criminal, tiny Once-ler to prevent his deforestation attempts, but is at a loss as to where to find him because he is as small as an insect. The tiny Once-ler is so small that he is nearly crushed by the Lorax’s careless search. He yells up at the orange, fluffy creature, but the tiny screams from his miniature vocal chords are too high-pitched for his ears to detect and his screams are unheard. This is the life. This is the life of the tiny, tiny Once-ler.
