Now that we know there will be a movie do you have any suggestions for casting? I feel like they're going to take their time with it and do it right(hopefully) since they know how high the bar is. I don't think it's going to be someone everyone thinks it will be. Who would you like to see?

Honestly, I’d like to see some unknowns. Perhaps some of the previous actresses to have graced the Wicked stage and are looking to break into film. It’s definitely a different beast; not everyone is going to want to do it or be cut out for it. Whether you like it or not, some faces that work from far away on stage will not work with an HD camera a foot from their face.

I know everyone thinks it’s going to be Lea Michele. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that she’s absolutely not the worst they could do, but I’m still hoping for an unknown. I don’t have any specific people in mind. Surprise me. The movie doesn’t need big names to carry it-- it’s WICKED! They can afford to cast unknowns.

MY FIRST STIPULATION: Absolutely not Kristin Chenoweth or Idina Menzel because as amazing as Kristin is, they have definitely aged out of this thing. They could have cameos, like Idina as Morrible, Kristin as Melena, Norbert as Frex... you get the picture. That’d be a nice hat tip.

MY SECOND STIPULATION: I swear to TPTB, they better hire Joe Dulude II as the official makeup artist because... well, he’s JOE DULUDE II. (And we don’t want it to look as crappy as the Wicked Witch’s makeup in Once Upon A Time. I mean, what WAS that???)
