If somebody could explain me something (if the cause is even known): What is it with the croaky speaking that's emerged, I think, mostly in English-speaking countries? It's mostly a female thing and seems to be restricted to Gen Z & Millenials.

I don't know what Erik's reaction to seeing Peter in this shirt would be, but I'm sure it would be hilarious.
😆 Shirt for you or Peter M.:

Speaking of Minecraft: I went to an Ancient City, because I want the Silence trim (you see, if you use that with Redstone on an enchanted Netherite helmet, you get something rather Magneto-looking). Didn't find any armor trim on my first round though, in which I collected all important or new stuff. On my second round I collected ores and what was left in all the chests. During that I got to a chest that I hadn't noticed before and it had an armor trim in it! Something about the name felt weird to me though. Only when I got to my base, did I notice that it had been the Silence trim I was after, not the Ward trim!
Ahahahaha, dammit. Now need to find myself another Ancient City.

*sigh* This is hard. Let's see…
I've finally continued a drawing and am happy with how it's going.
Watched a new episode of Hermitcraft where Cubfan and Scar are on the latter's high-up contruction platform. Scar the Star Wars fan informs Cubfan that Gem has never seen Star Wars, which Cub can't quite believe at first. After learning that Scar isn't kidding, Cubfan - without a word - just walks off the platform, letting himself fall. That reaction made me laugh out loud.
My mom mentioned having randomly seen the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer (not even knowing that it's a movie for which I have just about all the hopes and dreams) and that it looks interesting. So yay, I can go watch it with her!
Tag game time!
Rules: Tell us three things that brought you joy recently (no matter how big or small). Tag as many people as you want!
I'll start
1. I had a DnD session with my friends
2. I talked to a friend again who I haven't seen in three months
3. There is regularly a squirrel just outside the window that I can watch when it visits the birdfeeder

For @silver-goggles-guild's "Finish a WIP" prompt, specifically #5 from February's prompts "Crossover/AU: Peter runs into another MCU character (or characters) after the Hex; who does he meet? Do they help him get back home, or do they try to stop him from returning?"
Alright, time to share the speculative thought (before it gets jossed and I'll forget about it) I had when I heard that Evan Peters was sighted in New Orleans just when Coven of Chaos was filming there:
I thought Peter would be looking all over the place for people he knows from his world and the only one he'd find would be Remy. It would be the MCU's version of him, which means he either wouldn't be a mutant or stay under the radar. He also wouldn't know Peter, so our speedster would have to try to strike up a friendship with this this stranger. They could bond over having sticky fingers.

Funny that my fave transformed into a version of my other fave. And turns out speed-punching the villain still doesn't solve problems.

Loving Minecraft's potato update - I just wish I wasn't so slow at figuring things out. Usually I get my info from the wiki, but this update is too fresh for that approach.
I just checked again and there's info now, but not enough for me. Like, how do I craft a peeler?

I liked Morph from the beginning, so it's nice to see him properly back on the team. But I fear I'm in the process of growing too fond of him, because yeah… yeah, I see similarities to another X-Man. Who else is fun, wasn't originally on the X-Men, grew popular with fans and didn't get as much screentime as they deserve? Why, yes, it's my boy Peter Maximoff. So naturally that moment when Magneto put his hand on Morph's shoulder made my emotions bubble over. Apologies to Morph for turning him into my Quickie substitute. Obviously I also quite enjoyed that actual Dadneto moment with the actual Quicksilver. Mmm, delicious crumbs. ¯\_(°⁔°)_/¯ Sad little fangirls are gonna fangirl sadly.

Idk, could have been worse, like mine:
Angst magnet OHOHO YOU ARE SAD. YOU ARE SO SAD. PLEASE GET HELP. Good news- you're a GREAT outlet for queer kids in fandom spaces who need some way to express their problems when no one irl will help them! Your number one fanfic tag is hurt/comfort, some of it actually pretty well written, and all your fanart is either the goriest or saddest thing to ever be created. Please get therapy <3

I can't believe I don't have a gif of that saved! So have one of my icons instead.
But no, honestly, I'm fine these days. Chill out, fandom!

Have you ever fallen so far into procrastination (I mean, I wasn't even doing any of my beloved hobbies!) that you got to the point of feeling sick of it? It made me so miserable that suddenly starting something productive didn't feel like a chore anymore and then I felt better!
The whole journey started half a year ago when I began to plan moving, which tore me out of my routine. Mid-December I moved into my new apartment, but I still couldn't get back into the groove. Even after I had settled in I didn't manage to get back to normal. Only after days of only surfing the interwebs and playing Minecraft I finally reached the low point last week and voilà!

I wonder if he'd secretly be there anyway. Just to help any side out, in case things are about to go wrong.
headcanon: Erik making Peter metal fidget toys to help him focus more during xmen meetings since he knows it’s really hard for Peter not to use his powers during them

Awww, that's cute.
But also: Peter should have the right to recuse himself from any missions against Magneto.

For @silver-goggles-guild's prompt "Honest ways for a speedster to make money (and how they might go wrong)"
Messenger: Peter is faster than any postal service, so business should go well for him - at least until cellphones/internet access are wide-spread. His curiosity could also be a problem. If mutants aren't accepted in this world, that job could be done without outing himself.
Delivery service: This job is internet-proof, yay, and could be done in a power-hiding way, if necessary. But would it be Peter-proof? On his way he might have eaten some of the baked goods you were sending.
One-passenger transport: Yeah, he wouldn't be able to hide his powers with that job. You might be left feeling sick, but you're guaranteed to arrive faster than with any normal method! He should team up with Kurt, so Kurt can't steal his business idea. Sure, the barf-risk-free teleporter will be more popular, but first-class travel is also more expensive.
Rescue services: Evacuation is the sexiest thing Peter can do. If mutants aren't accepted yet, Peter will change that. A++, 10/10, no notes.
Speed reader: Apparently that's an actual thing, so Peter could do that job even in a mutant-hating world. If non-mutants are cool with mutants, he could do it even faster.
Search engine: In case of mutant phobia, he could claim he recently read/heard the information somewhere. Obviously not internet-proof.
Live fact checker: Would require writings to check or a device that plays videos at sufficient speed.
Quiz-show contestant challenger: The contestant must try to answer faster than Peter can look up the answer in a provided library. To give the contestant a fighting change, the library should probably be arranged in the most chaotic way possible.
Instant party service: Forgot to plan a party, feel the spontaneous need for one, or want a truly surprising surprise party that definitely wasn't there a minute ago? Peter will set it up in no time!

Argh, I had found a Blu-ray ripper that worked well, so now I wanted to buy it, but something won't let me! Now I gotta find a new program (How am I supposed to know what's trustworthy?!). Stupid BDs with their proprietary bullshit. Just let me watch the stuff I bought without hassle!
