A TL of かなたへのうた / Kanata E no Uta / Kanata’s Song (Sung during the Battle of the Sea God vs AKATSUKI)
Listen to the song here.

Translator’s Notes:
Second last line:
とけあう could mean
1) 溶け合う: melt/fade into each other or
2) 解け合う: be reconciled with each other
So the songs, the musical notes that Kanata & Madara sing would meet in the sky & be together like stars, their theme of Ryuuseitai, even though they aren’t together in person, do you get the pain?
‘かなた’ Kanata is Kanata’s name, of course. But it also means ‘place beyond the sea’. So an alternative title is ‘Song to the Place Beyond the Sea’ and that means something because who is in Rio de Janeiro??
In early twentieth century Japan, the Japanese word for “high collar” — haikara — came to mean stylish and refined. At first, haikara described fussy, well-dressed gentlemen in the upper-class, but then anything foreign and fancy became haikara.
Within a few years, the term became so widespread that an antonym developed —bankara (”barbarian collar”). The bankara look was embodied by college students who dressed daily in fraying black gakuran uniforms with schoolboy caps, capes, and high geta sandals (also called hei’i habō). This was an intentional rejection of gentlemanly fashion for a spartan military aesthetic.
In an era when the vast, vast majority of young people did not go to college, the black uniforms, especially in a disheveled state, represented long-time membership to an elite brotherhood of men. Much like Ivy League students after the war, they flaunted the wear-and-tear in their garments as a confident counter-reaction against shiny nouveau riche tastes. But since they wore the same outfit everyday, wear-and-tear was a natural part of life.
So, how I said you in my last post, I am translating the BEAST light novel in English. Currently, the light novels was avalaible in Wattpad in Spanish, English and other languages but was removed out the platform because a person was denouncing the translations, including mine.
So, to prevent, in other cases, the novel could be removed of the platform cause this actions, I decided share with you, the correspondent chapters in a Drive Document for you. With this, you can read the novel off-line. As I update the translation in Wattpad, I upload it to the document. So I can take a little while.
Please, understand, English isn’t my mother tongue, but I give my effort for you. If you have some question about the updates, or some like that, you can contact me in private message or letters on Tumblr. I’ll reply to you as soon as possible.
RULES:
Don’t repost without my permission. This meaning, you can’t reupload the translation to other platform even if you give credits., only reshare this post. Please, ask for permission and I’ll talk with you about it.
And now, we reach the final act of our splendid samurai theater. I’ve shared the Opening Theme, and now here is the Ending Theme to the tokusatsu TV series Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. And what a wonderful way to end things. The title roughly translates into “Dreaming 24/7, Shinkenger″ or “Dreaming All Day Long, Shinkenger”. The song itself is a mix of jrock and orchestral music, starting off with what sounds like a victorious march that a band would play in honor of warriors going off to face a war. The rest takes on an uplifting, feel-good spirit that is positively infectious.
Speaking of feel-good spirits, the lyrics reflect this too! While the lyrics do simplify/romanticize the life of being a samurai, I think we can forgive it since it’s for a show about samurai-themed super heroes. And yet, it’s good that it has this feel-good nature. Something about the memory of the samurai should make the Japanese audience feel good as well as inspire their own patriotism. As always, this song comes from the vocal album “Zenkyokushu”.
