Turns out two trips to the ER in a week is a fun time

Okay the first post went under ~content review~ so here's another just in case

Long story short, Tonks is diabetic again and cost us about $560ish in unexpected expenses, I've been dealing with illness and injury for almost two months now, and my cavities are scheduled for tomorrow (May 28) and I'm more in the hole than I was before I scheduled it

Things that have happened in the last month or so since I've been on here:

Dis bitch

Gave me the scare of her life by getting super sick super fast and is officially diabetic again and getting insulin (thankfully we are doing the glucose checks at home too because it was a $560ish situation and another $50 a week trip to the vet for the foreseeable future would have been very not good)

My local Dunkin has a pit of hell as an entrance and this happened

Which resulted in a surprise $280 that they are supposedly paying me back for

And I went to the ER for a second time in a month

For the tendonitis in my foot

Tomorrow is officially my dental appointment (finally) soooo if you are able, please give me a share or donate. After this last month I am in an even worse state with paying for it than I was before 🙃

BUT sometimes I see this being used as a gotcha in a way that says "it's okay to be fat because it doesn't mean you're eating Immorally" and I resent that.

I am fat and today I ate three cookies for breakfast. big ones. and that doesn't change the fact that my fatness is amoral and my diet - while objectively not very healthy, this cookie thing is part of a pattern in my life as a stressed out grad student - is also amoral.

it's okay to be fat and love little debbies. and it's okay to be fat and eat little debbies more than you "should." you don't owe your health or nutrition to anyone. everyone should fuck off
