At that moment, on a bleak embarkation dock in Vladivostok, weary old man pauses and looks once again at the pictures he has carried with him so many lonely years, and then, his determination rekindled, he turns and shuffles toward the steamer that will bear him to America - and a long-delayed reunion with his beloved children.

How does quicksilver being an incredible pussy hound sound fake when that is exactly what the extras show him to be. It works for his character. He is young, hype and fast. His hormones probably rage just as fast. Fuck off with your innocent bullshit.
It sounds fake because that’s not like him at all. Pietro in 616 canon is portrayed as someone who has little to no romantic (or sexual) interests save Crystal, his now ex-wife. Believe it or not these movies draw from that canon and as much as Steve Rogers and Tony Stark deserve an accurate on-screen portrayal so does Pietro and that extends to his sexuality. This has nothing to do with me or my “innocent bullshit” whatever that’s supposed to mean.
