Why do people pretend like Charles has a good sleepscedule and eats well? He's an academic, he's a professor, his sleep schedule is nonexistent and he forgets to eat. I bet Erik goes to sleep at 10 pm, with Charles promise that he will join him after he finished this paperwork, wakes up at 6 am and finds Charles on his desk in the same position, doing the same paperwork with the same clothes, he wore the day before, and drinking his 5th coffee.

I will never be able to explain how Dead Poets Society did to me. How it altered me and my life. The way I think and feel and everything. That book and movie brought new meaning to my life. I want to live deliberately. I want to suck all the marrow out of life. For so long I was scared. And I just did things because they were what I was supposed to do. But now I live, even just a little bit more (cuz anxiety). But I still live. Dead Poets Society changed me in ways I’ll never be able to explain or understand

The weird thing about being a dead poets society fan is that none of us wanted Neil to die, but he HAS to. It’s so weird that we’re drawn to the greatest tragedy that we don’t understand to push a message; would seizing the day and trying to be creative and yourself in a broken system actually move any of us to tears if I didn’t end in the death of one of the boldest characters?

Also, would it hurt this much if it wasn’t suicide? If he had been murdered, would it feel different? Would it feel more like he was robbed rather than left with no other option? Would the meaning of the movie mean less without his suicide? I think the answer is clearly yes, but from a narrative standpoint even though it would change little with how the movie ended (I think) it would be such a different experience as a viewer

I need Black sisters centric fics, I don’t want Regulus and Sirius with a side of Black sisters I want Narcissa having to deal with Andromeda being cast out and Bellatrix’s descent into insanity, I want Andromeda having to choose between the man she loves and her family. Honestly I want more Andromeda content in general because this fandom loves LOVES to gloss over her getting disowned because of Sirius. Which is insane to me because Sirius didn’t get disowned until AFTER he ran away (still love Sirius though) while Andromeda got disowned because she married Ted Tonks and then got SHUNNED by her sisters because of it. Bellatrix’s spiral into insanity would be so interesting to read about and there’s so much potential there too.

The Black sisters are so complex and this fandom makes them so one dimensional and or side characters to push Sirius or Regulus’ character development further
