hey guys. I have a question. Can you help me figure out how to correctly price my cousins artwork? I just found out she does amazing freeform handmade beadwork. she commissioned a 2000 bead customized leases to a stranger for $27 and it looks like an actual photograph of a real person. I can't post it for a couple of reasons: 1 it's not mine, 2 it could still be stolen or copied sense I don't know how to watermark and 3 this is for advice to give her. She showed one off at Christmas and it looked like a picture of her kids but she wanted to redo it because it was too bright. I know she is definitely undercharging but how much should she charge?

So I am very angry and a little confused.

I recently had a severe anxiety attack. I don't have a suicidal history but I started planning one. I have been diagnosed with ADHD,PTSD, Depression, High Anxiety and a Panic Disorder and because of that I have tried to educate myself. but most of the time I was diagnosed and treated for mental health at least originally by my primary care doctor. When I tried to make an appointment today I was told by 3 different offices they couldn't see me for my mental health. Does anyone know when this changed or why? I tried to Google it and look for news stories but I didn't find anything. I know my mom still gets her depression medicine refilled by her primary doctor so I think it's only for new patients but if it's 3 in a row something has to have changed right?

I was very tepid about shipping Loki with anyone before today. I was like both lokius and sylki are fun and sylki has the added bonus of spiting the shipping police, but that's that. Then episode 4 came and I'm very much not tepid anymore.

okay finally watched loki ep 5 and hear me out:

There’s a storm on the horizon. Loki and Mobius haven’t noticed it yet, but Sylvie can feel it in the prickle of static at the nape of her neck, in the humid soak of the air, in that hint of ozone lingering at the back of her tongue.

She watches it for a while, her eyes fixed to that line cut between sky and sea. The storm will blow in from the east, she thinks. The squall formed over the water a few dozen miles off shore, and is just biding its time at this point. Already the waves in that direction are capped in white foam, churning relentlessly.

“Sylvie?”

She blinks, tearing her eyes away from the water.

They’re both looking at her. Loki still has a hint of smile on his lips, his cheeks flushed from all of the liquor that they’ve managed to pour into the hideous pink drink that he’s got clutched in one hand. The smile is melting though, leaving his face in small increments as his brow wrinkles, eyes filling with concern. He’s so expressive, this strange version of herself. She wonders how he’d ever managed to get away with tricking anyone when he’s got his entire heart sitting right there on his face, ripe for the taking.

To Loki’s left, Mobius is looking at her like he knows exactly what she’s thinking - like he can see right through to the very core of her. And who knows, perhaps he can. Perhaps studying variants of herself for who knows how many years has given him a precious glimpse into that thing that even she and Loki haven’t quite figured out yet - that age old question that all Lokis seem to want to know the answer to - what does make a Loki? What is their glorious purpose?

Sylvie hates it, hates him for having the ability to look at her like that, for knowing that someone - some stranger - can look at her and know her. Doesn’t Mobius know that no one is allowed to know her?

She’s been alone for so long, raising herself on a host of dead and dying worlds. A never ending stream of constant chaos, forever trying to stay one jump ahead of the people who hadn’t even given up on hunting her once she’d reached the ends of the earth. The fighting has been a constant companion since she was a girl, so much so that it’s strange to have this- this moment of peace. She still feels like she should be running. It’s going to take her a long time to unlearn that instinct.

I know I had made a post about this last week I think, but I just want to reiterate that I DO NOT CARE who you ship in Loki. Be it Loki x Mobius, Loki x Sylvie, Loki x Sylvie x Mobius, or what have you, I don’t care. I’m a multishipper, I think both ships are cute and even if I wasn’t a multishipper I would never shame someone for a ship (unless it’s obviously illegal or toxic). Like what’s there to gain by bullying others for something stupid like shipping fictional characters?

Fandoms should be a place where people can have fun, not be berated for something like a ship. I personally ship Mobius and Loki a little more then Loki and Sylvie in a romantic sense (I like Sylki as like platonic partners a little more than romantic partners), but I’m not gonna bash Sylki shippers.

Like I seriously don’t see what is so controversial about the ship? Like I’m not trying to sound rude or anything, but I really don’t see what the issue is? They aren’t siblings, so it’s not incest, they just happen to be the same person from different time lines. They have their own personalities, interest, backgrounds, etc. They are their own people, which is kinda important to them. They aren’t just variants of the same god/goddess, they are their own seperate people. I mean, one version of Loki is literally a crocodile (or an alligator, it’s hard for me to tell), like come on.

And who says the ship HAS to be romantic? Maybe some Sylki shippers ship them platonically. Maybe some people see them as siblings in a way, and just use Sylki as a way to identify them easier (that a little bit of a stretch, but you know what I mean). Love isn’t just romantic, it can be platonic, familial, aesthetic, etc. Maybe Loki and Sylvie don’t even WANT to put a label on their relationship. They are literally both deities of chaos who have had rocky relationships with their own emotions and self worth, do you really think they would be that hung up on a label? They have found someone who truly knows them, who they feel they can trust, so why overthink it so much?

Again, I’m not trying to sound rude or bash the people who don’t like Sylki. Y’all can like and dislike whatever you want, I can’t stop you and I won’t stop you. All I’m trying to say is be respectful to others, don’t get hung up on the little things, if you don’t like a post scroll away and don’t engage. Ignoring it is free and lowers the risk of the fandom growing toxic which I know no one wants.
