SPOILERS Genshin 4.0 Fontaine and Archon Quest

Warning: Spoilers, just in case you didn't see the first word. Also, bad bad words. Long loong rant

First of all, pretty region. Like really beautiful. Visually pleasing and a good time out from the desert which is not yet complete at all. Blue looks good with traveler ngl. I like it a lot. Although the aquabus is really slow, it's nice to be able to sightsee the area without monsters wanting a fight. Its a good way to introduce the region ngl.

Lyney and Lynette are lovely characters. Their designs have definitely upgraded from the first peek at them and I would be attempting to pull for Lyney. Also Freminet would be nice to have too. And same goes for the rest of other characters I don't have yet. I love the backstory. Dark and good set up ngl. Also I kinda want to see subtle parallels between the traveler twins and the Fontaine twins. Like talking about a "what if my twin sister got taken from me" moment on the aquabus. I see you.

Mr. Childe Ed Sheeran Tartaglia. Is it just me or is he talking just a bit faster? It's been a while since I last encountered this man so I don't even remember lol. This guy tho. Trouble. Thats all. Also yay, character lore but in dialogue. I lowkey missed him.

As someone who can't with awkward scenes despite being sort of awkward irl, that entire scene with meeting Neuvillette killed me. I thought the silence was just it but the following scenes is staight up stabbing me more than is necessary. Wth was that Paimon lol. Not Traveler asking Paimon to chat for him. Also I feel like Traveler's journey is mainly him becoming more expressive with his face. Forget abt the overarching story and the new things, I check out updates to see what new emotion Traveler has now.

I love Navia! She caught my eye the first time with her design and her personality+story is everything to me. I can't see me using her much gameplay wise. I'm not that fond playing with geo characters and I've already got a good enough Itto but I would still love to have her.

The archon is killing me like I'm not gonna lie she gets in my nerves although she is entertaining. She's funny and I like that she actually appears to her citizens and have a sort of connection with them unlike the other archons so far lol. Like fr, hiding from citizens for the first two, Ei was a tyrant at one point and Nahida was kept away because of her own ppl.

Furina I feel is like acting like a teen in highschool sort of which kind of matches if I'm correct that she is second youngest among the Archons. Like Nahida is curious like the youngest, Zhongli giving old man vibes fr, Venti is the always drunk adult, and Ei being like almost middle child energy or the one that enjoys holing up in their room. Well that is with what we have among the archons. Dont know much with Tsaritsa tbh and I don't even remember Natlan's yet.

I kind of enjoy how Neuvillette gets to call the shots and is sort of babysitting the archon then again Diluc has to deal with Venti and we have Yae pushing Ei to socialize. Nahida is fine, in fact, she's the one babysitting Wanderer. Anyway, Neuvillette, he is great. He reels in his archon instead of blindly following and actually is sane. Like I like him a lot.

I love Fontaine so far. I can switch between that and Sumeru desert. They're opposites and I can deal with desert much better like this lol.

Dammit! Lyney and Lynette are separate. I really would have liked a unique character where they maybe can switch with each other and come as one. Its a nightmare to an F2P who wants both like me. Lynette is an Anemo user as well which means I've got to have her. 5 stars most likely, right? Or maybe 4 stars.

If I knew I was gonna lose to a Keqing constellation instead of a Kazuha c1, I would've had more primogems. More exploring ig. Have to at least get most of Sumeru before getting to Fontaine.

I like Freminet's design as well. Really cute! I really like him a lot in design and so far by his description. Also, the bell as his weapon. Maybe it will have a use finally. Prob not other than aesthetic but I'm hoping.

New region, new characters and I really love the designs! The teaser are showing me characters I would love to have by design. I like the blonde with the umbrella or the two character having juice and coffee. I'm loving the outfits in this region that's for sure.

I'm lowkey missing the time when we were just speculating Kazuha's personality. The canadian Aether memes were also at its highest lol. 4nemo was just new at time and it was such a genius name fr. Nostalgia be hitting hard.

Thoughts on Upcoming Version 3.7

TCG event in the nations we currently have! Yes! And Kazuha! Also of course, the new character, Kirara, is looking adorable and loving her VA and playstyle. Gonna be fun to crawl up walls. Also, a little show of the Fontaine character, Charlotte. It's annoying when you promise to save till the new region but gdi! If I want a C1 Kazuha I will be trying my hardest to get it. It's been two or so years and he still is my favourite.

I can't wait for the interactions too. It looks like a lot of characters will be participating. Personally, I can't wait to see Cyno go ham on the event.

(Just a desert rant lol. You can skip this paragraph if you want) Lowkey want the event somehow to be connected to main lore for no reason other than I can't wait for archon quests. Where the interlude chapter at? Yes, being impatient but after running around too much on the desert doing the Pari quest, I just want a break from it. Lol the desert will be the cause of my burn out, if anything. Its cool but the gd caves and the sand colors are getting to me. I haven't even gotten all of the rainforest to 100% yet. For a Dendro nation, why is it 65:35 desert to rainforest. Clearly I haven't been paying attention to the lore recently.

I also can not believe that Yoimiya will be getting an Act 2 on her character quest before Venti. Like L for the Anemo Archon ig lol. I can't wait for it still since I do enjoy a good chunk of character quests.

Fontaineeee! It's nearing! Looking pretty and ngl I was lowkey expecting Fontaine to be like a darker blue or smth like a night time town. I'm curious on the terrain of it and how the exploring would be.

Additionally, not genshin but I been playing Honkai Star Rail just saying. I'm considering turning this blog into just a gacha games blog but idk.

Just a Kazuha Talk/Shitpost Rant/Appreciation Post

Warning: Some cursing and the entire post is just a big Kazuha lover rambling on and on about how much I love Kazuha so consider yourselves warned

You all remember pre-debut Kazuha? I think a good chunk of people thought he was going to have the personality Heizou has today. Though I believe a lot nailed the idea of him being a chill going guy. Not quite the poetry side but close enough.

Ngl I'm feeling pretty nostalgic and I'm just thinking of Kazuha leaks and first impressions lol. Like it was nuts. People were saying how its reccomended to skip him cause he was going to be bad in terms of gameplay but then his banner goes and gdi, the regret. Man's became meta and I was so damn proud of having him during the almost 1 year wait for his rerun. I had a genshin related ego because of him. Hell, it was likely because of him that I also had FOMO and was playing genshin daily for 2 years.

I remember an encounter that asked me to swap accounts cause I happen to have Kazuha. It was my first Co-Op experience as well outside of the Co-Op Azhdaha fights I had to do to get Kazuha's talent materials. I thought it was normal to ask for that but I said no thankfully. Also I just got attached to the character too much to just give him away. Fuck no.

Funnily enough I almost pulled for Eula just before the Kazuha banner because her design is amazing but I was dead set on getting Kazuha. Although ngl it was also when the Kazuha is Canadian Aether thing is rampant and since I love Aether and I used Anemo Aether a lot and the idea of having two sort of Aethers seemed like an absolute win. But then I saw how different the two actually were and now I like them separately.

Due to my massive attachment to the character, I struggle to even remove Kazuha from my main party. Like it hurts to take him away because I need Wanderer or to use my 3 Geo + 1 Hydro/Pyro support parties. I feel so uncomfortable just exploring with no Kazuha. I've been reliant on his E. It's so convenient and fun.

Basically, I just love Kazuha. Thats what this entire thing is about lol.

Random Genshin Comment or Smth

I love the normal and charged attack animations of a lot of Inazuma characters. Specifically the sword users. And Yoimiya. And Heizou.

It's kind of disappointing for a lot of the earlier characters that doesn't have their own flair after the attack and during like either putting away their weapon or standing straight from their last stance.

Mains

To celebrate finally getting AR 60 after 2 or so years, I'm back with pixelated character splash art.

I miss maining Beidou. I immediately fell in love with her E and when I learned to counterattack I had so much fun. When she was no longer my Main DPS (Ayato replaced her) she was my shield and sub dps but then came Zhongli and his shield ruined my counterattack timing a bit.

I want to see Lyney and Lynette as a one duo in playable. Lowkey want them to be like that just cuz but also less primogem grinding.

Nahida is just not properly built and I'm too lazy to collect materials but she is my Dendro main... sort of.

Anemo supremacy and I have been Kazuha main ever since I understood the idea of building and gacha banners. I use him a lot and for me to not call him my favourite main feels wrong.

Ayato has pretty good artifacts and the one of the two that has a 5 star weapon. Wanderer has the other but he needs better artifacts. (No signature weapons tho.) I also really like his moves anyway and that was why I built him in the first place.

First team that I seriously used just cuz and I'm lowkey feeling nostalgic: Beidou, Amber/Barbara, Xingqiu, Anemo Traveler

SPOILERS 3.5 Windblume

Warning: A fair amount of spoilers.

So far, Windblume is just confirming Cyno is very much a massive nerd lol. Mr. Card Strategy Games, Roleplay, and Wordplay aka Puns. He is such a mood fr.

This group has been fun so far and I feel like most of the interactions were lowkey predicted. Albedo enjoying Cyno's jokes were one of them while the rest were just done with him.

Also, I love Venti but gd the guy's a mess lmao.

For as long as we keep getting anemo short males, are we just going to keep changing the group name to insert the appropriate number? Lol, I wonder what would be for the 7 member one. If we're getting a tall anemo male later on will he join the group or he'll be solo till other tall guys come along?

The first banner I actually wanted to pull for was Kazuha's first banner which I got Jean. (As well as Kazuha)

Yes, I did get the Wanderer and that first Qiqi won't stop me. Also for most wanted, they are the ones I want that I don't have but the ones I was really desperate for were Kazuha, Wanderer, Xiao, Nahida, Cyno and Ayato. Literally looking for more primos after losing my pity with at least 2 of them.

Those are indeed my favourite weapons. Fight me lol. No surprise with anemo being my favourite.

Theres the best pure archon Nahida but anemo Scaramouche is in the next version. F2P struggles man.
